  • Great Food and Service, But Loud!

Having been to and enjoyed the Seasons 52 in Palm Beach, Florida, we took our Virginia friends to this restaurant in northern Virginia on a Saturday night. The food and service are outstanding -- their menu changes on a regular basis to present available fresh foods. Their wine list is extensive (selected by their sommelier), their flatbreads are excellent, and salads are always superb. However, there is a negative to this restaurant: The only way to hold a conversation is to shout -- and with everyone talking loudly, the problem just cascades. I recommend this restaurant for lunch (when the noise is lower) or during the week (when, presumably, there are fewer guests).

Really wonderful attention to food. Adventurous with their menu, healthy, fresh, and great tasting. Wonderful wine list. Service was good, informed, personal, and everyone chipping-in to back-up a great experience. It is louder than it should be, but then, it seats 400. Very easy access to parking.

Made last minute Open Table reservation for Saturday night for a birthday celebration. The staff and the servers could not have been nicer -- they offered to take a photo -- surprised us with a copy at the end of the meal. Wonderful staff -- wonderful food --a great evening! Many thanks

Seasons 52 has a changing menu that always delivers a pleasant experience. Whether a weekly special or the highlights of the season, the food is always good and with enough variety to satisfy a family with gluten-free requirements, a vegetarian, and a healthy steak-loving son. The wine list is sufficient and the servers are knowledgeable enough to recommend new pairings based on past preferences. Overall we have always enjoyed Seasons 52 and it is head and shoulders above other mall restaurants.

  • Good food but dark and noisy

We enjoyed the food at Seasons 52 but dinner was hectic. The place is so dark that servers hand out flashlights so patrons can read the menus and see desserts. Also, very noisy and crowded. It's in the mall, so we had to park in a pretty unsavory parking garage and walk past a loading dock to get there. Maybe it's a better choice for lunch.

This is a reasonably good upscale chain restaurant in a shopping mall. The food was good, service good, but the venue was not very interesting. This is where I might stop before going to the movies. And, fyi, adding wood-smoke to food does not automatically make them taste better.

Seasons 52 is one of my favorite restaurants. I have tried the one in Tyson's Corner Mall Virginia many times and held a group event for 60 people at the one in Orlando Florida. When we plan ahead the experience is wonderful. Recently I went with a plan ahead but then had two people show up who had declined my original invite. We had been given the "best room in the house" but had to move when the other two guest arrived. It destroyed the vibe the group of 10 had going when the restaurant made us move. Our waiter staff declined and none of them seem to be as attentive after that. So plan ahead and get your head counts correct; it's normally a great experience where the food and service is superb. This was a one off night. We'll be back!

I order the whole bronzino which cost $27. I was expecting a large fish - maybe 10 inches long. Anywhere else you order it, it is always a large size fish. My fish came and it was maybe 5 inches long. For $27 it was WAY overpriced!. It tasted fine, but not for $27.

I forget now what it was called but the a vegetarian salad entree for dinner (the only one with quinoa) was surprisingly good and filling. Small $2.75 desserts were fun, and not so fattening. Sure, per ounce they were costly but you only got a mouthful - and that's healthier!

Food was fantastic, and under 450 calories per entree, guilt-free too! It came out on time and the quantity was just right so we did not feel stuffed. The service was simply outstanding. We were checked upon multiple times, without interrupting the conversation. Managers as well as the waiter assigned to the table checked on us. One of us was starting a small business so it was a special occasion. We were given dessert, a cake with a candle to blow out and champagne on the house to celebrate.

Season's 52 never disappoints. However, on this last visit, I made it very clear three different times that we were celebrating a birthday and had asked ahead of time if you do anything special for this type of occasion, I was told yes, with a sparkling candle and "tower". I was pretty disappointed, when the waiter showed up with a candle lit -fake dessert along with the typical dessert tray to choose from

We're repeat diners at this restaurant, and once again it didn't disappoint. The menu is invariably interesting, the wine list is inspired and the serving staff is knowledgeable and responsive. This time, the swordfish I had was excellent and not dry (hard to do with a fish so lean), the shrimp pasta was a great blend of a savory sauce that tied the whole dish together. We had a harder to find wine from the Wilamette Valley which paired perfectly with both dishes. While the setting is casual, with the presence of a large bar area, the cuisine is anything but and we were again pliantly surprised by the level of refinement.

Dinner was very good, atmosphere was equally enjoyable. Service was good but not anything special - a little disconnected to us but not that it was an issue. Food was very very good. only complaint is the salmon did not seem as good as I expected. Not sure if it was not fresh or overcooked (thinking overcooked). Still a nice dinner and enjoyed very much.

I've dined here many times in the past but this is my first review. The food here is wonderful. The ambiance is perfect for a private dinner for two and the menu offers great food. This is one of the few places I've dined at that offers a low calorie menu without sacrificing taste in its food. The staff are well-trained and delivers fantastic customer service. I would recommend Seasons 52 to anyone looking for a great place to eat at a reasonable price.

We had a lovely dinner and the staff at Seasons 5 were very kind, I can't say enough. It was my son's birthday, so we were seated toward the back and could easily talk. Dinner was wonderful and the flatbread appetizers were delicious too. The chef prepared a lovely crostini for our group that was much appreciated, and you can't top Season's charming, tasty desserts. Thanks so much for taking such good care of us.

I have dined here many times. The consistently excellent quality of the food and service never fail to amaze me and prices are reasonable. The menu changes constantly but if you can catch the corn soup while its on the menu, it's excellent and its makings are complex -- I know because I asked for the recipe. Didn't exactly get it but got a sense of its components and complexity of preparation. If ever I have a bad experience at Seasons52, I won't hesitate to report -- but so far that hasn't happened.

They do it by the numbers; show no interest in guests once they seat you. I was wildly waving for someone to notice us after a request for a refill was ignored for what seemed an interminable period of time. When I finally got the waiter's attention, his explanation for the delay was his need to prepare a special desert for a guest? Since when do waiters work in the kitchen? We were seated right near the "welcome" desk but none of the many folks coming and going seemed to notice that I was nearly falling off my chair to get their attention, with my arm in the air. Sadly, I will not return as there are many other restaurants who do flat breads just as well.

My wife and I first encountered Seasons 52 during a vacation to Disney World. During research for best restaurants in Orlando, we picked Season 52 for driving out to dinner and we were extremely pleased in all aspects. For a second trip there we made our reservation ahead of time and the restaurant was as good or better than our first visit. We have now used Seasons 52 in Tyson's Corner Virginia for two special occasion group dinners ( a 60th birthday and my retirement party) and four dinners. Thank you for maintaining your superb service and quality of food!

We had a truly delicious meal at Seasons 52, and totally enjoyed being waited on by our young cousin Matt at the bar - our meal was really wonderful and it was so nice to see Matt as we had missed him at a couple of other family gatherings. He is moving to Denver to open a brand new Seasons 52 which should be a smashing success! The bbq chicken entre salad was perfectly dressed, the chicken very tender; my husband's trout was an impressive portion and perfectly cooked, with no bones.

The seasonal tomato salad was terrific, As was the grilled shrimp. The burger had a odd, mushy texture and the fig goat cheese flat bread was lackluster with little topping. We didn't complain or return the items but the server should have inquired since we didn't eat much of either dish. Had better meals here. Hope this isn't a trend.

We had never visited Seasons 52 before, and drove from Maryland to meet our son, who was in town for meetings. The traffic was bad, and I had to call the restaurant to let them know we'd be a bit late, and they were very understanding. We were seated right away. The service was fine, and the food was very good. I especially liked the little desserts, which were the perfect bite-size. All in all, a very pleasant experience!
