I've always heard great things about the green room and it definitely met all expectations. The green room was the perfect choice for a group brunch following my daughters graduation. The food was exceptional as well as the service. I'll will be going back for sure,

I've dined at the Green Room before. For a quiet dinner with great food served European Style this place is the best. The prices are appropriate for the quality of the food, service and setting. We went for a Anniversary Dinner this time and complimentary champagne and small chocolate cake was served. It was delicious but we also orderd dessert anyway having already anticipated the treat. World famous macaroons were served with the coffee.

Enjoyed a wonderful brunch at the Green Room. The buffett (and it is only a buffett for Sunday brunch) was wonderful. There was a great variety of food and it was all excellent. The atmosphere was delightful and the room is just elegant. Reall y enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

We recently had brunch at the Hotel Dupont for the second time. The quality and selection of the food served for the brunch food is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. They do not make you feel rushed. The Green Room setting is a beautiful place to spend a couple of hours relaxing and enjoying great food.

It started out with an undesirable table even though the reservation was make weeks ago. Seems the hotel had a show that night with all tables booked. As it turned out only 4 tables showed. HOWEVER, we were treated like royalty. We were treated to champagne, a free bottle of wine and 2 free desserts. Every one bent over backwards to provide us with great service. Don't pass us this beautiful room for dining.

My husband and i came for dinner before a show. Our waiter was nice, but couldn't understand or speak english very well. We kept trying to explain a martini with a twist..he seemed confused..and then brought it with 3 olives. Our dinner was nearly inedible. My salad with tapenade was a pool of tapenade in the bottom of a bowl with 2 or 3 tiny microgreens on top. It's a shame to spend so much money in a beautiful room only to leave really hungry. Although it was a "show" night, the room was less than half full, so it's not like the kitchen was stretched thin

The Hotel DuPont is simply magnificent. The grand ballroom is the most ornate, grandiose, most beautiful ballroom I have ever seen in my life. We regularly dine in upscale establishments and vacation in the finest resorts in the US. The Hotel DuPont is right up there with the best of the best, in my opinion. The food was just so-so, however the service and ambiance were noing less than superb. I highly recommend the Hotel DuPont for your special occasion.

Disappointed with this resturant. Used to be the perfect place for that special dinner but definitely not anymore. Simple amatuer mistakes by the servers and had to ask for things 2 and 3 times like a simple refill on water or cream for my coffee. Definitly NOT a 5 star place anymore. Food was ok but limited d/t resturant week-didn't know this and wasn't told ahead of time when we called.

What was once an older gem has really shined with great food and has adjusted to the times. It was still that old world charm of the Hotel but once seated you were taken to the Green Room of today. Chilled Seafood Course on a COLD plate, entree on a HOT plate and my flan - tasted just like my grandmothers - on a COLD plate. The only two complaints, bread was very good but should have been served warm and we had to ask for refills of water. Great Wine List! Portions for the price were very generous and how good was it - we are still talking about it today.

    Delicious
    Dined on 4/20/2012
The scallops were delicious and the deconstructed Bouillabaisse was very good. We ordered a bottle of white wine and it was warm when the waiter brought it to our table. We were almost done our dinner by the time it reached the right temperature. The manager did comp the bottle but we would rather have enjoyed the wine with our meal. The wait staff was rearranging the room for an event scheduled for the following day and chairs paraded past our table the entire time we dined. We also confirmed a specific table which was given to another party before we arrived. In my opinion the restaurant is no longer the romantic, fine dining, special occasion venue that it once was.

We had a memorable evening at the Green Room. The food presentation was simply beautiful. Service was attentive and food was tasty.
