The steak was tender, but salty, as were the veggies. The service was awesome. The noise level was totally unacceptable! We could barely hear each other. The waitress had trouble hearing us and vice versa.

I love the restaurants service, especially with the multiple food runners (lined up) bringing out each person's dish instead of boosting all the dishes on a large round tray. It gives you that feeling of old school dining. Not everyone may like that, but I liked to feel taken care for the price I paid. All the tables face the window for you to admire the waterfront view. All the employees were nice. I'm definitely going back.

What a great night, food was really good, I had the filet trio special and it was excellent. We also tried the crab cakes and tuna tartar for appetizers, which were also excellent. Finally we had the creamed spinach and gnocchi for sides. The spinach was just ok but everything else was excellent. Loved the atmosphere will be back again very soon! Best dining experience in a while!

Reserved a waterview table for our anniversary via Open Table. The entire team went out of their way to recognize our anniversary and assure we had a special time. Great steaks and sides cooked perfectly. Very good wine selection albeit pricey. Will definitely stay on our list as a top shelf restaurant for special occassions.

Overall great experience, food was delicious, our waiter Brandon was excellent. Bar was busy, bartender was a little slow, didn't catch his name which would have been helpful in getting his attention. I found it odd in a Steakhouse of such high caliber that the manager did not stop by the table once to see how our food was.

At the time of our dinner reservation the restaurant had only been open less than 2 weeks. That was very evident based on the manpower present the evening we were there. Initially there were probably 2 servers to every guest. Knowing that the team was in training, there were very minor bumps, but nothing that impacted our overall experience. The food was great and the ambiance made it look like one of Boston's hottest venues.

This is a good restaurant to go to for a special occasion but I think it's a little overpriced for the quality of the food. Don't get me wrong, the quality is very good but the price should justify a better selection, dishes with a little more gourmet flair. If you're bringing someone here for a special occasion, you will enjoy yourself as long as spending money doesn't bother you. However, it's not a menu that will make you want to try everything off it. My steak was very good and perfectly done, the drinks were also very good. The price was justified for a one time event but not much more.

My wife and I have been huge fans of Del Frisco's on 5th Avenue NY for many years. We were very excited to see one open right here in Boston. We made our reservations straight away. The evening was awesome. The energy level was fantastic. Our table reservation was late but we didn't mind. We enjoyed a cocktail in the lounge and enjoyed the view and meeting people. It was understandable given the overwhelming response the location clearly had in such a short time. Everything else was exactly as I would have expected it to be from Del Frisco's. I stongly recommend the signature cocktail before dinner and try the Double Eagle steak also a signature offering but go hungry for sure.

Dismal management; even though open 3 weeks still not settled operations. All chaotic; redundant numbers of employees bumping into each other and patrons continuously, comedic. On average, it appeared to take 5 employees to turn over a table. We were seated over an hour late with no apology or explanation despite reservations, it took 30 minutes to have water served, all glasses were cleared from table then brought back, on two separate occasions requests for diet coke resulted in regular coke in bottles being brought to table, and when serving, a distracted and disheveled assistant server accidentally dropped large broccoli florets on the table in front of three separate customers on three separate occasions. Hard to believe.

I had reservations far in advance, yet was placed in the bar where it was very loud and not very private at all. I was so excited to see that my favorite restaurant from where I grew up in the Dallas area was opening up across the street, but was left unhappy because of the lack of respect for my reservation. I went with my girlfriend to enjoy a quiet, nice meal, but it ended up being a more expensive (albeit much better tasting) meal at a pub.

I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday, and it was perfect! The bar was great (be prepared for it to be crowded), and the food was fantastic. Get the crab cakes, they are to die for. Shrimp scampi was average, but my boyfriend really enjoyed his steak. The atmosphere is just amazing! Would definitely recommend this place and return myself in the future!

Spectacular setting, good food and fitting for a big night out...but seriously, $780.00 for a party of four?- for this- 6 cocktails at the bar, three apps, four entrees, three sides and no desserts- two bottles of wine, a $69.00 2008 Robert Foley Griffin (outstanding) and a $110.00 2006 Mica Cabernet...two of the least expensive bottles on a wine list (while astounding to read and amazing in its breadth) where the average bottle appeared to be around $395.00, with the $2,500 to $5,000 vintages widely featured. I don't know, maybe it's the new post-near-depression me, but $780.00 for that vs. a week of dinners for two at someplace like The Franklin Cafe for the same price..it's just a good steak....with a $12.00 potato and $14.00 asparagus.

Del Frisco's has always been a good chop house around the country. My luncheon experience, foodwise, was not a good one. For steaks, all ordered New York Strips and Filets. Our meat was notably untasty! I hope that this was simply because the restaurant has only been open for 1.5 weeks or so. Tuna appetizer was great. Wine selection was good as expected. Cheesecake dessert was very good. Our service was terrific. I could not recommend this Del Frisco's at this time because their beef should be the centerpiece of the experience and not the least favorite one. Give them a few weeks to get things running. Morton's is across the street so go there in the near term.

Had a wonderful experience with Del Frisco's from the moment I pulled up with the car and my date. The staff was very friendly and cordial all with good enses of humor and not afraid to display it. All the staff were warm smiling and inviting, the Management Staff was equally kind and accomodating. The view of the harbor is pleasant rain or shine and the layout of the floor fits the decor etremely well. Most importantly the serving staff was very energetic and attentive and enjoyable to speak with overall it was a flawless evening and I look forward to going back. Note they are a bit pricey and the wine list though deep is made up of 1st through 3rd level vinyards and priced somewhat higher then the normal markup, pick well and you're fine.

I think Del is up there with the other popular steak houses in Boston- but few will have the scenic view of the large ships and planes landing at Logan. The service lead me to believe they want me have a full satisfying experience and they want me to come back. I would order the business man's lunch- every one loved the steak and raved about the potatoes-- I had the french fries but wasn't impressed with them

Loved the atmosphere. Right on the water with wonderful views. Too cold to sit outside, but they have quite a few tables on the deck. Although you can only sit 4 at a table outside because they have heat lamps that piped in and not moveable. The filet mignon was fabulous as you would expect in an upscale steakhouse, but my sirloin was disappointing .. lacked flavor and was chewy. I would return and order the filet! The chateau potatoes and like a mashed, but very spicy. I like spicy, but could only eat a few bites.

For appetizers we ordered crab cake and shrimp cocktail. Their crab cake is about as good as a crab cake can get, made with premium fresh crab meat and complemented with a Cajun lobster sauce. The jumbo shrimp cocktail while enjoyable is priced excessively high at $19, which is $5 more than what you'll pay at Legal Seafoods. Our Caesar Salad was a disappointment as it is not really a Caesar Salad but a Romaine salad with fresh croutons and dressing. Not a bad salad but definitely not a Caesar Salad. We both ordered the bone-in rib eye and it was about as good as a steak can be. They were cooked exactly as ordered. Along with our entree we enjoyed the chateau potatoes and creamed spinach. Service is top-notch. Great wine selection.

We had a great time at Del Frisco's. Unfortunately, the gentleman who poured the water spilled the water all over our table. The table setting was quickly changed. The waiter came by and took our order. As he was leaning towards us, he spilled the water. It was like a comedy of errors. Once again, our table was quickly changed and reset. The assistant mgr. came over and apologized. He sent over a few appetizers to make up for what happened. It was my birthday and they were supposed to bring a dessert with a candle in it. They forgot and our friend had to remind them to do that. Overall, the food was very good. I had duck but it came out too rare. My husband had filet mignon & it also came out too rare. I would return again.

It was their first night serving in Boston, but while the reservation we had was a little delayed, I give a lit of create to management for making us not mind the wait. The 89 dollar Kobe was NOT kobe -- it was chewy and tough and stringy The sides were pedestrian. To add insult to injury I was overcharged for the bottle of wine that we ordered. First time at this restaurant and did not know what to expect for it was opening night for the restaurant. I was very suprised they had it together and the service was amazing. Appetizers we had the crab cake which was abosltly delicious. We had oysters on the half shell which was very fresh and sweet. We also ordered the tuna tar tar which was alright but least of my favorite. I odered the rib eye steak medium rare and it came out perfectly cooked and it melted under the weight of the knife. For dessert we had shared between the four of us the cheesecake, warm bananna bread pudding, chocolate souffle and the lemon cake which was also all very delicious. My favorite was the warm bananna bread.
