A word from BOTERO – Encore at Wynn Las Vegas
Botero, the contemporary steakhouse at Encore, has quickly emerged as the prime dining spot in a resort – and moreover a town – famous for its profusion of first-rate options. Chef Mark LoRusso lends his modern touch to all the steakhouse classics, updating familiar and comforting dishes. This stunning rotunda-like space leaves behind the staid, heavy aesthetic associated with chophouses for something sexy, surreal and altogether different.

A beautiful, subtly lit room, fabulous food and great service. We have been here four times and it has never failed to delight us. The Chateaubriand is fabulous and remarkably good value for such a high end experience. Highly recommended.

This is the second time at Botero and it was fantastic again. Our server was incredible. The food was great--the Butternut Squash Sweet Potatoes were one of the best items I've ever had in a restaurant. Wine list, while excellent, could use some more moderate priced (less than $100) wines and especially their by the glass list.

Botero is an excellent steakhouse. My wife and I both had the bone in ribeye which was excellent. They also have a great selection of side dishes. Prices are about the norm for Vegas Steakhouses. Beautiful restaurant design with white chairs overlooking the pool area. If you want a good steakhouse experience, I highly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I have eaten at Botero a few times and have decided not to go again while in Vegas. The primary reason is Botero's would need to be perfect ( or near perfect) for us to feel we received the value. The restaurant has a lot going for it but it is lacking in service. I think Botero needs to improve its service or ratchet down their prices to match their so-so service.

Good service, decent food and pretty good wine list although sommerlier can do a bit better job, small things, such opening up wine bottle where the customer can see or taste the wine himself prior to serving. Otherwise, pleasant experience for the cozy birthday celebration!

My husband and I enjoyed a great dinner prior to seeing Le Reve over at the Wynn. We had a table for two next to the fountain. It was not terribly quiet, but still a romantic atmosphere for two. The wine list was fabulous and we had trouble picking from several great selections - ultimately we had help selecting the perfect bottle for our meal. We both had steaks with the pepper sauces and they were phenomenal. The sides were good, however not over the top. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service, food, atmosphere were all excellent. Wonderful pre-show dinner and we would definitely go back again when in Vegas.

We did the $55 3 course prix fixe & it a wonderful value for the money! The chicken was fantastic & the frozen candy bar for dessert was one of the best desserts I have ever had. The Sommelier recommended an excellent wine from Hitching Post as well & was very knowledgeable.

This was our second time dining here, and as usual it was excellent. From the time you are greeted, you are made to feel welcome, the service is fast efficent and friendly. My wife and I come to Vegas not to gamble but for the fine dining, and this is one restaurant I highly recomend. I had the Filet and it was cook perfectly, I ordered it med well and it was perfect, my wife had the scallops and they were cooked perfectly and tasted great. For dessert I had the candy bar, a frozen, sorta chocolate bar, very good, my wife had the carmel apple bread pudding and loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant on your vegas visit.

I've dined at Botero numerous times and have always been pleased. This visit was no exception as the food and service were wonderful. It took over 45 minutes to be seated (Saturday night) but the host was very open about the delay, bought us a round of drinks and handled the delay very well.

First of all,the steak was THE best. My NY Strip Chumichurri was cooked perfectly, med pink, w/ hints of rosemary. We ordered sides to share: would recommend the Polenta with Chanterelles. The Chorizo Gratin and the Zucchini Flower was disappointing. Note the menu and prices on the website are NOT the same as the current menu- prices have increased. If you order the Filet, they may ask if you want it "bone-in" (not on current menu),and if you say "yes",know that it's an extra $10~. Our waiter was wonderful. However, although we were the first party to be seated (w/ rsvp,we were placed in the back- w/ an unpleasant view of the statue's derriere, and where all the staff congregates to chat. Music is sappy.

Great Restaurant! Everything started out good.....but the waiter got consumed with a table of parents with small kids. You know the type that sit and drink and let their kids run wild. But that happens, usually not in a fine dining restaurant. Hostess should have seated them in the corner instead of the middle of the restaurant. Food was great, the restaurant is beautiful and very romantic. We just got a bad waiter!

The place was awesome. We were part of the first seating. We waited about 10 minutes after we arrived. We were sat in a table for two around an indoor pond and a large statue. The decor is great. We were given a chance to take in our surroundings and enjoy the music. I read reviews about how nice it was to hear pop music during a fine dining experience and it really was. We ordered the pepper steak for two and were very pleased with our portions. We were also surprised at what "pepper" meant, we thought it would be crusted with black peper, instead we were pleasantly surprised with actual roasted peppers in our steak. We loved it.

Excellent meal and such a great place for large groups. They took care of us like we were guests in their own home, which I think is the greatest compliment to a resturant. The wine steward was helpful not pretentious and the presentation and taste of the food was outstanding. I have always heard great things about Botero but it was great to experience it for myself. It is worth the money for a beautiful meal in Las Vegas.

My wife and I had a fantastic dinner at Botero. The physical space is beautifully decorated - elegant without being stuffy, and trendy without being tacky. We both liked the contemporary music being played - somewhat unusual for a fancy restaurant, but it worked and the volume was perfect - it never intruded on our conversation. The service was very good, very personal. Food was wonderful - the ahi tuna and yellow tail appetizers were perfect, and the Kobe beef short rib was awesome. I would happily go back again.
