We had a lamb dish that was wonderful. The flavors that burst in your mouth were un-describable. Their corkage fee was a bit high at $35, but the wine bottle pricing was pretty reasonable. We brought a bottle in with us & the cost of the wine plus the $35 equaled the price on the wine menu.

Try the Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit! it is pure perfection. And check out the wines by the glass as well as the full wine list - they have many rare / hard-to-get wines, and the sommelier is both friendly and knowledgeable!

We loved the asparagus with flan and the pots of cream for dessert. The rabbit three ways was delicious! Loved the ambiance. We'll be back... Wish you were open for brunch on weekends.

This is a wonderful restaurant -- an adult restaurant -- that makes the best possible use of the highest quality local, seasonal products, including the bounty of their own garden. It is more traditional than innovative -- no parmesan foam here -- but that just allows the freshness of the ingredients and the skill of the kitchen to shine. The staff is thoroughly professional, most especially the young but expert sommelier, and the quiet, comfortable dining room is a delight in this age of noise and hype.

This is the second time we have dined at the Farmhouse. We experienced a wonderful un-pretentious place to experience a great meal and fine tuned service...just like the first time! We were also delighted with our master sommelier's wine selection pairings for our dinner! My only wish: It would be nice if the Farmhouse would offer a prix fix or even better a chef's tasting menu along with paired wines for each course in the future.
