Our reservation was for 9:30, knowing that the place closed at 10. We were early and got seated quickly. The table was a little wobbly but that was fixed immediately. This was my second visit to the restaurant so I knew that the atmosphere would be nice. By the end of the meal, the place was empty which was also very cool. The parking lot was locked and we were concerned that our car might be trapped, but the manager was very helpful and we were able to get out. The food was spicy enough, and the menu has a lot of vegan options.

I've been wanting to try Indique Heights for some time now. I finally decided when I took a friend of mine out for a birthday dinner. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was reasonably priced and very filling. The ambience is nice and I would suggest sitting by the fountain for an "exotic feel". The servers could be a bit friendlier, otherwise, it was fine.

My fiancee and I love Indian food and went for Valentine's day dinner on recommendation from a coworker and after reading the reviews. I found it to be better than average, but not great as many of the reviews stated. Pro's....the parking on a Friday evening was great and convenient for $3. The food was tasty but lacked seasoning that I would expect from a god Indian restaurant. The lamb curry was really good and the sauce was legitimately good. Everything was luke warm, not hot, like the dishes had been sitting out waiting to be served. The drinks were very weak and the martini tasted like it was just purely tripe sec. The scallop and shrimp marsala was very ok. Good but very ok.

I had seen the sign for Indique Heights on the side of the building, but my wife and I had never dined there. She decided that she wanted to have Valentine's Day dinner there. Great choice! We would truly dine there again, especially in the warmer months becasue they have a great outdoor dining area.

We made the mistake of going for a late (2 pm) lunch on Valentine's thinking to avoid the crowd. The food and service was good but as one might expect the buffet was a little on the tired side at that hour. The economical, but tasty buffet should be tasted before one at the latest.

The food was good but the service was poor. We were seated in the bar area which was poorly lit and cold. We were virtually ignored/abandoned by the waiter. And, had to flag down another waiter to get the bill. This was a business lunch with 4 clients so I was disappointed.

When making reservations on Open Table, we indicated that there were 5 for dinner. At the restaurant the reservation came up for 2 not 5. The restaurant handled the situation well and seated us in relatively short period of time. There should have been an indicator from Open Table that this particular restaurant allows bookings via internet up to 4. Anything over requires a call. Otherwise the food was good, nice variety of vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes. We will return.

Let me just start out by saying "This place has north Indian food perfected down to the ingredients" I have been to India multiple times and you get use to Taj or any oberoi hotel groups of chain food but this place was recommend by my friend and the pimmstini (sorry for the spelling) was mixed well and was delicious. The decor and ambiance just took me back to state of Rajasthan and it's palaces :) .The appetizers were of good proportion and as a group we tried different dishes. The nilgiri khorma(sorry for the spelling) was fantastic and the level of spice just right for even picky eaters lol...I will be dining at this place soon

Indique Heights is one of the better Indian restaurants in the area. A friend and I have been going there for several years. This time she had the Paneer Makhani and I had the Shrimp Biriyani. We both finished our entrees, although I was disappointed in mine. It was not the first time I had Shrimp Biriyani at Indique Heights, but it was not as good as before. Yes, there were more shrimp than expected, but they were small and bland. I haven't had much luck in finding good Shrimp Biriyani in the DC area. Note sure if it is because I had my first taste of Shrimp Biriyani in Denver, and nothing around here seems to be as good.

The restaurant was busy on Friday night. The noise level was quite high but we asked for a table in the back of the restaurant that was a bit quieter. Very good food and more than adequate portions. The service initially was fine but we had to track down someone to get the final bill. Would definitely return, but wish it was quieter so conversation was easier.

Unlike some other reviews, we actually had great service. The food, on the other hand, was just OK. No specific critiques here, just that our dishes were not as flavorful or exciting as the same dishes we've had at other Indian/South Asian restaurants in the DC metro area. Would I come here again? Sure. Am I going to go out of my way to recommend it to others? Probably not.

A group of us went for the lunch buffet. It was not busy at all in the restaurant, only a small fraction of tables were occupied. Nevertheless the place was very very noisy with the small number of customers. The food was good, and the vegetarian selections were especially interesting. excellent. The service was absolutely terrible. Many of the staff were lounging around, doing nothing, indifferent to the fact that the buffet table lacked bowls for liquid condiments, soups, etc. and only restoring the supply when we pointed out to them (twice) that there was nothing to put the food into. Beverage service at the table also was terrible, a long time for an inquiry and even longer for arrival (we were almost done with our meal).

The food was great, and the gin martini with Pimms was strong. The only problem we had was that we were seated near the front underneath several bright white lights that they apparently could not dim. There was a large party in the back room, so we couldn't move anywhere and were stuck staring at one another under a microscope.

The food is very good. I especially liked the Kerala street foods. My guest preferred the cuisine of Northern India. We were both bothered by the loud cries of a toddler at a nearby table. Given the large size of the restaurant, there is no reason to place a family with three children in the middle of a group of two-place tables.

We came to this restaurant expecting a cut above from a food standpoint but did not get anything above average. The service was average to bad (imagine being unable to get water refills when eating a vindaloo!). At one point the manager seemed to be in some type of argument with the bartender - it was loud and was headed to out of control... There are other Indian options in this part of DC.

Upon entering, there were several "Take Out Taxi" delivery guys picking up multiple delivery orders. Bags and bags of food piled everywhere with hostess frantically packing up while we waited to check in. That should have been our first warning sign that there's a reason folks were having their food delivered. Place was pretty filled. There was a private party also being held in another area. Took forever to get waiter. Husband and daughter went to check out open kitchen area; they came back and said it was crazy. Staff was stressed; waiter was kind but service incredibly slow. Food was so-so. Dosa was cold and so were nan and kulcha. Food was just average. Would love to find a new great indian place as most of them have fallen over years.
