A word from Pizzeria Villagio
The idea of Villagio comes from a marriage between time and place; the old neighborhoods of New York City and the abundant plains of California. What California brings to the table figuratively and literally, is its abundance of fresh produce, fresh starts, and the opportunity to reinvent. And so it was with these two places and time in mind that we set out to build a restaurant that would meld the two.

With pizza dough made from scratch, hand stretched and cooked in a traditional pizza oven, our proprietary pizza sauce and the freshest of ingredients, Villagio invites you to dig in and enjoy our food, our warmth, and our relaxing ambiance. A place where old world tradition, meets new world freshness.

Staff was pleasant and service was very good. Very convenient to the Indian Wells Theatre. Ordered two large pizzas. The New Yorker was very tasty, the vegetarian one a bit bland for our taste. The restaurant is very noisy. Difficult to visit.

We finally had a date night and chose this as a place we've never been before. Our server immediately let us know we arrived prior to the end of Happy Hour and we could order off the discount menu until 6pm. Our calamari was the BIGGEST plate we have ever had! We could have easily been full off just this order. The garlic bread "dots" were amazing and both our pizzas were outstanding - super thin crust, just how we like it. Our server was also wonderful - she continuously came by to check on us and see if we needed anything. We will definitely be making this a regular stop - with or without kids.

We just had pizza and a salad with house wine. It was all great! We sat in the booths near the front door and The was a cold draft from it. Sometimes the door stuck open and there was no one to close it . We ate left over pizza the next day and it was just as good heated up as the day before. You should expand Your beer list for happy hour. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful.

Service was excellent... always is. The pizza was not hot and had little flavor. Disappointing. The chicken Parmesan was good, but not $17.00 good. Come on... that's a bit nuts for 2 small pieces of chicken. The garlic knots were nearly tasteless. Where the heck's the garlic? Overall, not thrilled and won't be rushing to return.

Stopped in for a yummy lunch of pizza & salad, a can't miss choice here! The spinach salad is my favorite, the hubs likes the chopped. Both are delish, the greens are so fresh and salads are just fantastic. The pizza...oh, the pizza! Thin crust, perfectly saucy & cheesy, just so tasty! This is the pizza to have! We've also tried a couple of pasta dishes, all quite good but the pizza is the home run for us!

This was my second time at Pizzeria Villagio. We were celebrating my husband's birthday. 6 people at 6:30 PM. I had to complain to waitress after waiting over an hour to get our main course. Basically we ordered pizzas that came with salads. When going out for pizza I don't expect 2 hour meal. Everyone around us who came in after us got their food before us. When making reservation I mentioned my husband's birthday and restaurant never acknowledged it. Very disappointed.

They had a great drink menu and dinner menu. We ordered four appetizers and enjoyed them all - but our favorite was the fried mozzarella. The tomato bisque soup was great. Many of us ordered pizzas and they were each delicious. Dessert, too, was great. We had the chocolate cake. The restaurant was very family-friendly which was great for our group. They brought out crayons, an activity sheet, and raw dough for the kids to play with. This kept them busy. The kids meals were perfect for our 3 children aged 1.5 - 7. Beginning to end, we had a great dinner and a good time.

my sister (visiting (from NYC, where pizza is a religion) loves Villagio's pizza. Susan and my husband & I decided to have some pizza Sun night (9/8) and we really enjoyed our very pleasant server Anita. We shared some fried mozzarella patties (so yum!) w/a caesar salad and then we shared a large pizza w/a few toppings. It was 99% excellent, but I have to say I (personally) did NOT like the pepperoni on the pizza and would never order your pepp. again. It is cut kind of thick and I realized I do not like it that way. I'm used to very thinly sliced pepp. and found the thicker cut way too chewy and the taste was a bit too overwhelming. Aside from that one little whine, the entire evening was very enjoyable and we will for sure be back soon.

Stayed for two nights at Desert Springs and this place was recommended. Firstly, it is expensive for what it is ie a pizza restaurant. The food was so full of salt that we spent all night drinking water. A non existent atmosphere as you walk through the takeaway to get to your table. Overall, a poor experience. Staff were efficient and friendly.

We were a group of 6 adults and 4 kids all under the age of 8. I wish I knew our waiter's name, but I cannot remember, but he he was great with our kids. There were no crayons and he brought them pizza dough to play with and they would never leave this poor guy alone. He was great with them and their parents!! Knew when to come to table and when we needed something. Food: my pasta dish was the bolognese with spicy sausage meat. so, so. I don't think bolognese really needs a spicy sausage. My husband had the meatballs, and sorry guys but my meatballs are better. You need to watch it with the herbs in your meatballs. It becomes too overwhelmiing in flavour. Pizza was good.
