Their Mother's Day Brunch is a favorite of ours! The homemade breads and pastas, the eggs benedict were delicious. And the spiciest blooody mary with jalapenos and cardamam made for a lovely Mother's Day celebration.

Great food--entrance in and out of hotel is odd to the patio--Menu is creative and food was well presented and tasty. Different serveres during the meal had different levels of knowledge and professionalism; overall they were both pleasant. Wines by the glass a bit pricy; Good find!

The customer service was outstanding - we enjoyed the perfect amount of attentiveness from our server, and any wait time that might have been too much (the waiter was way more sensitive to it than we were, which we appreciate) was met with a complementary appetizer. We sat outside, which was a little windy and cold, but the provided blanket helped a lot. It was definitely quiteter outside, though the inside feels fancier. We'll continue to return to Dante.

We loved the whole experience...the atmosphere, the food was probably the best we've had in Boston in 20 years, wonderful service, friendly, helpful and not obtrusive. We had a table of 4 by the window overlooking the river. We highly recommend dante's and will plan on returning as often as we can. We look forward to a terrace dinner once the weather warms. Parking was excellent, either valet or self-parking.

We think the food and preparation are outstanding. Menus is very interesting and the presentation is excellent The food seems cooked to order with some unusual items such as their home made "guitar macaroni". Out servers have seemed to be very knowledgeable. When the bar is in full swing it is difficult to have a conversation while dining (especially Friday evenings) but a moderate bar scene is just fine. The convenience of parking plus the excellent menu makes Dante a favorite destination.

The food was lovely - modern interpretations of wonderful italian food, but with a nice twist of adventure. The service was solid, clear explanations of dishes as they were delivered (nice for some of the more unusual items). While a bit lackluster initially - heard us mention a wine and ran off before we could ask for a rec or his opinion - it picked up as the meal went on.

The food was really good at Dante. It wasn't as good as the reputation or the buzz; but it was decent. The cocktails and appetizers were delicious; and our entres pleased both of us. Still, typical Boston fashion, for the price I was expecting to have my mind completely blown away, as opposed to leaving merely pleased (i.e. this is no No9 Park, though the prices are comparable). The service was abysmal. The waitress took the order, and we never saw her again. The bus-people were very good when we grabbed their attention. Also, the place was a little noisier that I prefer for fine dining. The scene around the bar consisted of mostly a post-work crowd.

Before eating at Dante's, I read a few reviews about the place. In general, everyone loved the food, the ambiance, but many commented on extremely small portions and unimpressive service. I can say happily that my experience was very memorable and delightful. The food was eclectic and delicious, the atmosphere very chic with that rare view of Boston, and the service was caring and efficient. Excellent overall! We would definitely go back to Dante's but, as we were Boston Rest. Week diners, with slightly thicker wallets!

Only problem was with some small serving details of Bread, forgetting to replace silverware, trying to refill sparkling water with tap without looking, not noticing I neede another drink when my meal was served. What a great meal! We went for restaurant week and each dish was better than the last (antipasto, hangar steak, chocolate dessert). Great views of the water- a little loud because there was a gathering upstairs and they kept clapping over everyone. Also, as it got darker out they didn't really turn on the lights and it was getting pretty dark by the time we left. However, these were the only small problems. The food and wine were wonderful and unique. The service was amazing- knew the menu well/didn't interupt in the middle of conversation/good time lags between courses/very friendly. Great experience

Too pricey. I went on Sunday and for 20 dollars I got a very small plain salad, two peices of sliced bread to start and then two peices of very delicious french toast. Seems to me like I didnt get my $20 dollars worth. I could have ordered three times what they gave me for the same price somewhere else. The quality was good but not worth it. Because of the inflated price I probably will not return. Also, the biggest downside was the AWFUL service. He constantly forgot to fill our water glasses, he didnt bring us the bread until we had been sitting for 40 minutes and he answered all our questions about the menu with equivocable adjectives so he essentially provided no insight at all. it took 2.5 hours to have brunch here bc of his service
