This restaurant was one of the pluses of Las Vegas. The food was outstanding (so was the wine). Our waiter had worked there since 1978 and was able to suggest wine and dishes. The ambiance was romantice. It was a wonderful night out.

Bootlegger Bistro is the perfect Italian restaurant for people looking for good food close to the Strip in Vegas. The service and food have been fabulous every time I have been. The prices are much more reasonable than what you find on the strip, and it is a quick cab ride from the end of the Strip. The piano player is also wonderful. I go every time I am in Vegas!

  • The food, service, and live
    OpenTable Diner Since 2009

The food, service, and live music were wonderful, the noise level was deafening making it difficult to converse with each other. We dined on a week night assuming it would be more quiet, but were seated next to a large party of 21, and even though we notified the restaraunt about one of our party being in a wheel chair online and by phone, we were shoved in a corner having to move the table ourselves and were barely able get the handicapped person to the table. Would only recommend others ask to be seated in the annex room adjacent to the main dinning room if they want to be heard by others in their party.

This is a Vegas Classic. The waiter Paul has been a server there for 30 yrs. I remember him from the old location. It was fun to watch the guy serenading his girlfriend with a guitar (not very well I may add) and proposing. She even said Yes.

Food was generous, value-priced and tasty. Servers are a little slow, but are personable and friendly. Saturday night was a busy night but it didn't feel crowded. The musical entertainment is an added bonus that sets Bootlegger apart from other similary restaurants. I recommend it to all my friends and those who have guests from out of town.

I can not say enough good things about the bootlegger bistro. The ambiance was so fabulous. The service out of this world. We had live music with dinner that brought back the old vegas era. The food was so yummy. The bar was filled with locals and such. Sean the main man is so charming. I will come back again and again. I reccomend this place to everyone no matter what age. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience.

My husband and I moved here to Vegas about 10 months ago, and ever since then, we've tried to bring everyone who has visited us, to Bootlegger Bistro. My husband and I rave about the Spaghetti with Meatballs and Sausage (not that they order it, but we recommend it). I know that people often make spaghetti at home, so they would like to try something that they usually don't eat on a weekly basis. The service at the Bootlegger Bistro is great as well. My husband truly enjoys that the servers recognize when his beverage is halfway done and offer to bring another.

Bread was cold. Server never offered to bring warm bread when we said that bread was cold. Veal was overcooked. Server never came to table after delivering food to see if all was okay. We have eaten at the Bootlegger for years and have seen it steadily get worse. This is one place that is off our list of restaurants. We eat out 5-6 times a week and there are so many restaurants in Las Vegas that we just gave this one the boot.
