Made dinner reservations to close out a day trip to Universal. Without going into too much nitpicking, our service was quite slow, & our food took quite a while. Our drinks were ok, but the music was just ok. We were there for a shift change, so we got to hear the end of a set by a single player, and the beginning of a set by dueling players. We put in a request, but I guess our $5 tip with it wasn't good enough, because we never heard it or an explanation. Our food was nothing special - appetizer was so-so, pasta was okay, po' boy was not great, & the roll was hard as a rock & covered in condiments not listed on the menu. Took forever to get our check. I enjoyed this place several years ago, but this trip was not a pleasant one.

We were seated right away per our reservation and the hostess warned us it would be loud, but we didn't mind that. The piano music was fun though the vocals were not stellar. Still it was fun. The tables were wobbly but the server told us that was intentional. Huh? Our food, hamburgers and nachos took over one hour to get to the table as we watched people who were seated after us get their food. No explanation was offered. The burgers were hard as hockey pucks, the fries were greasy, really I cannot remember having such bad food and service. Skip this place unless you just want to drink yourself silly. They offer huge alcoholic beverages. Maybe then you won't notice the food.

We visited last night around 7 & found it to be quite crowded. There was a gentleman playing piano who was very entertaining. We were seated quickly & service was good. Waitress friendly & attentive We ordered drinks to start & they came out very quickly. They were not as expectd & not very tasty. Food was just okay. Dualing piano players who took over the entertainment during ou meal were also enjoyable & I enjoyed the selection of songs they played.

The piano bar area was really, really loud. If you are in the mood for that, its great. The outdoor area was beautiful, quaint and charming. But they allow people to smoke out there. There is no sign or anything posted saying that, unfortunately, Because of my asthma, it was VERY unpleasant for me. It also was not appetizing to go to take a bit of food and taste the smoke in the air. Our server was nice, but he was very busy and rushed, not as personable as you'd expect. But maybe he was just having a bad night, Food was great though...drinks were even better.

Food was really good! I am from Lousiana, so I know good Cajun food. Our waiter on the other hand, not so good. We waited 15 minutes before he actually came to our table and then when he did come, he told us he would be with us in just a second. He brought us our drinks and didn't even ask us if we were ready to order. I had to find him for him to come and take our order. We finally gave him our order, and we were sitting right by the register where they put the order in. He went another 15minutes before actually putting our order in. We were only 2 people in our party. Groups of 6 or 8 were getting their food before us even though they arrived after us. We had to find him to get refills, and to order dessert. He was terrible!

We spent Christmas Day 2013 at Universal Studios and made reservations here for dinner. The dueling piano performers were great, although I had no idea one could request songs on napkins if there was cash folded in the napkin. I would have made sure we had cash on us to do so. The ambiance was great, loud and friendly. I ordered what the menu said was filet but there was NO WAY what was on my plate was filet. I could not chew it. My husband and older daughter said what they ordered was fine. My youngest daughter wasn't very hungry & only ordered appetizer nachos and only ate about a quarter of them but said they were fine. Our very nice waitress took both my dinner and the nachos off our bill.

Christmas week at universal studios gave us the opportunity to eat at pat O'Brien's. The food was very good with choices for everyone although the vegetarian in our group did have to cobble together salad and some sides since no dedicated offerings were available. The pianist was super and involved everyone in selections and sing alongside. All in all a fun evening for the family!

Was our first visit to this Pat Obrien's which is a far cry from the one in New Orleans. Food was just ok...menu was very limiting and the dueling pianos were by far 'the worst' dueling pianos I have ever seen. We were there Dec 20 2013 and must add that on our next visit to City Walk, we will choose another restaurant.

The atmosphere was fun. We sat in the piano bar part. That was nice. It was loud! But fun and the two performers were really good. They sang all kinds of songs and took requests. It was enjoyable. I was a little disappointed in the food though. I got the cancan shrimp I think is what it was called. It was coconut shrimp. The coconut shrimp was just ok but the sauce to dip it in was horrible! It had the consistency of applesauce and kind of tasted a little like apple sauce.

Took my two kids here and was pleasantly surprised we could eat in the piano bar. It was definitely loud, and some tables louder than the piano, but we had fun. Kids thought it was funny to see the silly inebriated people singing and liked hearing songs that they knew. Despite the crowds, our waitress was very available and we had great service. Food was good.

We were at Universal during a slow period so when we arrived for dinner, we were the only table in the restaurant during the entire meal. The food was good, $8.99 for a burger and fries at Universal is a great price. Definitely looked like a great place to go at night for a fun bar scence along with a piano player. Probably wasn't the best pick to celebrate a child's birthday but would definitely recommend for adults.

Beautiful brick courtyard spot for dining, food was great especially the crawfish etoufe. Matty was our server and he was very pleasant and helpful with all our needs and questions. If there were any drawbacks it was that we still had to pay $16.00 for parking just to go for dinner at our favorite spot at Citywalk. We also went a few months earlier to have dinner at Pat O'briens and found the area closed for a private function which did not necessarily include the restaurant. Great Dining and Drinks

There was a Halloween event at Universal so we had to pay the event parking rate of $16 instead of the usual $5 evening parking rate. The waiter was terrible - he apologized several times for "forgetting" about us, but never tried to do better by stopping by the table more often during our visit. I asked for Tabasco brand hot sauce, but was told that all they had was Louisiana brand hot sauce which I don't care for. I would not have ordered the Jambalaya had I known they no longer had Tabsaco available. My wife ordered a cheeseburger, and the bottom of the bun was dripping in grease. All in all, I felt like I got ripped off paying premium $ for mediocre food with poor service.

We came in for my best friends bachelorette party and expected the waiter to be fun and energetic and BOBBY was everything but that. Service was slow and felt like it was an inconvenience for him to to be waiting on us. I was a server for over 5 years. I know it can be draining and other things can be on our mind but I know that we were his first table that night so he should have been up and ready to go. This was out first time at Pat OBriens and after that service we are in no hurry to go back.

Having been within a 1 hour drive of Pat OBriens in New Orleans for several years I can tell you it was the real deal. So if you are looking for real cajun food go over to O'Briens in Orlando at Universal,s City walk. It was such a wonderful experience to have the real thing instead of the pretend to be cajun food so many places serve. The service at Pat's was prompt, courteous, and genuinely happy to have you there and that was true from the check in desk through out the evening. Smantha T. was our server and I can't say enough nice things about the service, so I'll just say thank you Samantha for helping to make it the wonderful birthday day experince I had hoped for. So let me say Pat's is a place I would definitely return to.

Our family of four visited Orlando resorts and decided upon Pat O'Briens because of the menu and location (right on CityWalk). We almost decided to dine at their outdoor seating but we are glad that we did not. Inside, there was a terrific piano bar to go along with the great food. Although it was a "bar setting" it was totally appropriate for our kids (ages 9 and 12) which may have been related to the time of our meal (7:30 to 9:00pm). We all enjoyed the music, the atmosphere was definitely lively and the food was superb! Great experience. We already plan to return on our next trip to Orlando.

We have been dining here since it opened at Universal CityWalk and have always been pleased with everything - food, drinks, service but this time - due to the rain, we were put in the Piano Bar. It was Happy Hour and we were not happy with the drinks - The Hurricanes which if it had any Rum, it was fumes!!! We had some skimpy appetizers that were disappointing also. Due to the extremely loud and awful piano player singing, we decided to go to another restaurant where the drinks did have alcohol and the food was plentiful - We want the old Pat O'Brien's back as far as the food/drinks, it was not the restaurants fault we could not sit outside, and our server was wonderful, but she did not have control over what was she served.

No match for the Original in N'awlins. The food was mediocre. Hubs and I got the Chips n Dips and shared a Jambalaya and a Fried Shrimp Po'boy. The cheese dip tasted like it came out of a convenience store dispenser with Jalapenos thrown on top. The salsa was definitely bottled. The Jambalaya came out in a mound all stuck together & unappetizing; like drying wallpaper paste; parts of it were cold (chicken pieces). The Po'Boy was much better. The bread was fresh and soft and shrimp was tasty. I gave it a "fair" because this is a New Orleans style restaurant and Jambalaya should be a "no-brainer". However, the Piano Bar was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the piano player. Go for drinks and to see the dueling pianos -eat somewhere else.
