We had lunch here and enjoyed being able to have table service instead of fast food. The prices for our burgers, etc. were very reasonable and food was great. I had the French Dip sandwich, which was excellent. Reservations are a must.

Respectable theme park restaurant. For a few bucks more than counter service, managed to get out of the theme park chaos and have someone serve you. Seemed like an average burger to me but I'm no burger connoisseur. Family enjoyed it.

Reservations are a must at Confisco's. Thanks to Open Table we were seated immediatley as atleast 15-20 other people waited. The food was pretty good. We had the fajitas and the Soutwest Pasta. Service was fast and reasonably priced. Would definitely return when we are at Universal.

I did expect this restaurant to be more upscale - since reservations were available and this is a sit down/server restaurant. Actual experience was more like a cafeteria with hectic servers running around like chickens. Seems to be a too few servers being assigned too many tables situation. Our server did as well as she could and was as attentive as she could be with her volume. No real issues with server. Location was loud (not expected) but understandable. This is definitely NOT the Brown Derby at Disney Hollywood Studios. Our food was good quality, for the prices they are charging more quality ingredients should be used, but I have no real complaints....the highlight was actually a barbeque sauce they had - Peach Chipotle - WOW...

This is a great place at Universal Islands of Adventure. Best of a Bistro and a sit down dinner yet easily accessible and appropriate for either theme park dressed down ( just off the rides and out of the heat) or a little nicer ( no more than dress casual). Fabulous variety on the menu which was perfect for our kids. Each had trouble picking from 2-3 favorites that they saw. If you like pasta and can handle or enjoy a little spice....do not miss the Penne pasta. Kids waiting table were friendly, welcoming and plenty efficient. Overall a very favorable place. Only reason I did not give 5 star is that I reserve that for the very few and far between. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will return when back in Universal region.

Breakfast buffet--$24 for 2 kids, $36 for 2 adults. Here's what you get: one station of mini muffins (store bought) and croissant. Soupy scrambled eggs, one station with bacon and sausage. One cinnamon french toast station, mini green eggs and ham (egg mcmuffin), grits and one station with four fruits and yogurt. The place is dark, dull bar- scene like. The buffet is not set on the main kitchen area, it is on tables in the back with sterno heaters on folding tables. No heat lamps so the waffles are soggy...probably from getting steamed to death. The best part of meeting spider man but you can do that throughout the park.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2012
    Dined on 3/18/2012
The only negative thing I have to say about this experience is that I think they should figure out a better way for the characters to meet the kids. My family and I had reservations at about 9:15 and we had a GREAT breakfast. The food was AMAZING and the people were great! But we had to wait at least 10 to 15 minutes after my family of 6 had finished eating to be able to see all the characters. As people kept coming in the characters kept going to them instead of going to the people that had been there. If they had a better system as to how the characters meet the people I would then give this place a 10 out of 10. But I have to give this place a 8 out of 10.

Was not busy, our reservation wasn't needed however they still did not take our order right. Our teenagers meals showed up moments after the appetizers and after waiting 30 minutes longer our other meals had not arrived so I cancelled them. Finally a manager came out to inquire why I cancelled the meal . Bill had items ordered from two other tables on it that we had to wait another 20 minutes to get corrected.

Boy was this place a bust. I suppose I should have expected it since it was in a theme park. I made reservations here so we would have an easy time sitting after a long day at the park. For that it was good, but otherwise, it's park food. Go to mythos instead. We ate there the first night and giggled about it being "no. 1" for park restaurants. Now we know why.

I have to say this was the worst character breakfast we have ever been to. The food was horrible. We paid $78.00 for two adults and a child. We ate nothing and waited forever to see two characters. The french toast was engulfed in sugar. You couldn't even taste the bread. The eggs were like rubber. The waffles were like a sponge. I am so dissapointed and will never be back. The price is outrageous. For that amount we were expecting good food and some interactment with the charcaters. We get better food at McDonalds. We visit the parks twice a year. This is one stop we will never make again. $78.00 REALLY??
