We did our Universal "diner and a movie" dinner there. Menu has not changed in some time and is somewhat limited, good price however. Service this time was pretty poor, order taken, item omitted and food was dumped on us immediately. Felt totally rushed, then totally ignored. normally a good tipper, but this time, even though 15% is included, I had no compulsion to add to this.

We took a very large group (17 people) here. They efficiently and effectively handled our large group getting appetizers and dinner to us in less than 30 minutes. Our only problem was the music. It was so loud that our group had difficulty hearing each other. However, management did turn the sound down when we asked. The staff were very responsive and attentive and the food was very good! Our guests loved it!

We got there early before the crowds so we easily got a table. We all enjoyed our meals and the leftover paella tasted very good the next day. The portion on that dish is very large. They served rolls with a very good compound butter. I definitely would recommend.

What does one expect from a restaurant inside Universal Park? Eating there, one gets the overwhelming sense that the food doesn't matter that much to the owners and the service turns over a lot. Convenient but not good.

I have dined here many times. The food is great and the venue is pretty. The only complaint that I had this time was the length of time from the time I placed my order to the time I received my food. It was about an hour and took three complaints to the sever before our food was brought. Once we received it, a member of my party didn't like their selection. The great part was that the server offered to replace the food fast. The food was brought almost immediately, which leads me to believe they brought someone else's food, high probably increased their wait time.

We had dinner at this restaurant while staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Universal. We saw the menu and found it appealing (at least to the eye) so we decided to go. We were looking for more latin flavor that what we got. Service was REALLY slow (it took them about 50 mins to get us the food) while the place was virtually empty. Even though the service was slow, once the food arrived, it was very nicely presented. Flavors were not the best we ever had but they were decent. Desserts were not spectacular althoug average. All in all, this restaurant is a bit pricey for the food you get there. I will say it is an average restaurant with a great location.

Wow. Sevice was awful to begin with. I thought we were even nice for calling ahead of time to say we were running late (there was a major trade show going on at the time). Luckily the food was awesome. I do think the waiter slacked off since he knew he'd get a tip regardless, because our party was 6 people.

We ate at the Brazilian Steakhouse portion of the Latin Quarter. It has only been open for two months and was not very crowded when we went. The food and service were both EXCELLENT. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The "gauchos" stroll thru the restaurant with large skewers of meat. There are about a dozen types of meat (lamb, pork, beef, chicken) All were excellent. They also have a salad and soup bar. The lobster bisque was Great. The salad items were just OK. Waiters were very attentive.

I've been going to Latin Quarter for well over 10 years and made it a point to visit every time I was in Orlando. Sadly, this last visit left me very disappointed. Appetizers were fine, entrees (the chicken breast stuff with plantains and the mahi mahi) were lacking flavor - the mahi mahi was not seasoned at all and was only edible once you slathered on the red sauce from the plate. We ordered one wine and were delivered another, and when we asked about the wine we did order, neither the waiter nor the bartender had a clue ("this is what comes out when we punch the number"). By 9:40, a dj began playing obnoxiously loud music next to our table and we were rushed to finish and leave - never getting our dessert. Time for a new favorite.

Went at 7pm and restaurant was filling up. Appetisers were very average despite one being a tableside chef's preparation. Calamari was overdone. Mains, again, nothing special and was all rather bland including Mahi Mahi and fajitas (chicken was overcooked). We have been to this restaurant over the past 4 years and feel that standards have dropped and will probably not return. That is a pity, as the atmosphere is rather charming especially with the live guitar player who is rather good.

It was pretty much empty when we went at 7 PM, which made the restaurant seem cavernous. However, it was nicely themed and you could smell the great food from outside the restaurant. I would guess that the restaurant and bar area fill up later, say after 9 PM. It has a small dance floor but lots of open space. We really wanted to stay until the music started but had reservations at Margaritaville to meet the rest of our party. The food was excellent and the service was great. Would recommend this for families and young adults.

This is your typical theme restaurant: average in everything. The churrasco lacked flavor, the paella was mushy, and the ceviche lacked, uh, ceviche. There was more lettuce than fish! Service was disorganized, appetizers arriving before the wine, bread, or water. The only redeeming feature was the music. Will probably choose another restaurant when I'm in the area.
