We loved the food except for the ahi Tuna, it could have used more seasoning of some sort and the cilantro aoli sauce was watery. The calamari was the best I have eaten. The side order of asparagus was not brought with the food and I was half way through the ahi before it came. I will definitely come again and bring friends. I felt for the price of lunch I would have liked to say, memorable. Thank you for a great table and the service was great! Mary Marincik

  • Waterfront - Going Strong...
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008

I've been coming to this place for years, the first time was for my Junior Prom. My wife and I came here for our anniversary. The appetizers - especially the calamari friti - was to die for, fried tender with sumptuous aioli and finger stringbeans, tempura style. The lobster risotto with lemon was just okay, as were the prawns. The ambience and the view of the San Francisco Bay makes it a wonderful special occasion destination.

  • Food was fine, but service
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008

Food was fine, but service terrible. Coming from Europe, we do not tend to just tip if service is not good. But here, we had an terribly annoying waitress and once we stepped out in the street after paying (but leaving no tip), we were chased by the waitress telling us that in America you have to always tip. Not this time... and probably not coming back.

Had a great view. Fireworks on display over the water on a Sat. Very nice for locals as well as out of towners. Food was very good. And service was outstanding. They accomodated our party at a window which was very much appreciated.

The view of the Bay is breathtaking! We were there for Sunday brunch. The place is fairly pricy but the food was wonderful, so was the service.

My significant other and i made a reservation here for our annual "Christmas" dinner celebration. It was not on Christmas, but rather a week prior. And it was a Sunday, early evening. The restaurant was quiet and there perhaps 3 other tables sat, beside us. What really ruined the evening was our waitress. She was horrible. Not only did she neglect us, she was on the verge of rude. She rushed us the few times she actually came over to our table. In fact, she left so quickly in the beginning we had to flag her back down when she didn't stay at our table long enough to take our wine order. She rarely made eye contact, and seemed extremely distracted, and possibly confused, if not overwhelmed. I wondered if this was her first night? Food was ok.

I'd like to say we remember how the food was, but our lasting impression is that we found a hair in our lobster bisque, and when we mentioned it to the waiter, he didn't know how to respond. Maybe it was his first day on the job...maybe he never dined out...we didn't know, but it was strange to say the least.

Amazing views of San Francisco Bay, but that's mostly what you get for the sticker price - otherwise, it's all familiar and unoriginal American steak, seafood, and pasta.
