Very accommodating, even though we had a party over ten I asked if they would split us up to avoid the $40 minimum... they put us together any ways and neglected the minimum charge they required. Great service, wonderful dessert and "cute" atmosphere.

I made a reservation for four on Open Table. When I arrived with my party, the host claimed that my reservation for 2. I told him I reserved for 4 on Open Table and he said it had happened to him that Open Table messed up the number in his party before and that it is a good idea to call the restaurant personally. I was shocked. He said they would sit us at a table for 2 so they seemed accomodating, but it seemed so strange to me that they did this to us. We were squished against a wall. 1/2 hour later they gave us a big table after another party for 4 no-showed. Bizarre.

First off - I normally don't review places that already have 300+ opinions but I was so happy with POP's service and selection that it deserves a "cheers" of it's own. I brought a group of young ladies to POP after seeing a movie. The film ran later than expected so we were 30 minutes late for our reservation. The host was completely understanding and promised to get us the first available table....and did! It was a bustling Saturday night and really didn't expect them to work with us but we were seated within minutes in a perfect little booth by the bar. We each ordered different drinks and desserts to share: Drinks: "Pretty in Pink" champagne flight "Black Velvet" - Guinness and sparkling wine "Port ?(something clever)" - Port

  • We really enjoy POPS overall.

We really enjoy POPS overall. The food is great and the wine and beer list is very good. We've always had great wait staff who are very attentive and friendly. The only thing that's a downer is the music! The last 2 times we've been, it's been annoying pop music. It seems like something funkier (or moodier) and a little quieter would be nice and fit the atmosphere better. Or at least wait to play that music until later at night. For the dinner crowd it's a bit much.

Excellent champagne and wine selection including dessert wines rarely seen in bars and restaurants. Very special. I reccommend it for drinking and appetizers, not full meals. The food is quite good but overpriced for what it is and the $15 macaroni and cheese if far from worth the price. It's good, but it's not that good.

I wasn't that impressed with their dessert menu, plus all chocolate flavored was out the night I went here for the first time. I mean-they are a dessert bar correct? so how come they run out of desserts anything with chocolate? The Souffle wasnt all that either, I've had better one's! Good service kinda makes up for lack of chocolate on the menu that night I guess. I wouldnt recommend this place for foodies, even the popcorn chicken was kinda burnt.

The drinks, appetizers, and desserts were great. The entrees (pizza, salmon, sliders) were either cold, undercooked, odd topings/sides. We sent back the two undercooked entrees and they appologized, took them off the bill and gave us a free dessert, which was nice, but the chef should be able to check if fish is done without being over or under cooked. The service was really spotty (no set ups, forgotten coffee, told we couldn't sit early at our table when there were open tables everywhere then 5 minutes later we were seated.) Also the music was really strange, this lovely romantic setting and they were playing canned Top 40 music you'd hear in a sports bar---really odd. The music does not fit the setting. They really need to work on that.

Our food was excellent, Miso salmon and Chicken flatbread pizza alike. Not much on the non-bubbly wine list, but the champagne list, had we been in the mood was very impressive. That being said, the wine we chose with help from our server was excellent. The live music (Andy Tubman) was wonderful.

After trying to walk-in several times and getting denied, I was kinda over "Pop". Is the food *that* good? First, no it's not *that* good but it's pretty good after all. Crepes were delicious (although a little heavy on the egg), the churros were fantastic (but could benefit from a short rest before plating), the Chocolate Decadence was sumptuous (perhaps brighten the plate with some flavor contrast, like cream, salt, fruit, something). A solid dessert place, live jazz on a Sunday afternoon, I would most definitely return to Pop, with friends and oh yes, RESERVATIONS.

I had a fabulous time and enjoyed my dessert - the s'mores and a scoop of basil flavored ice cream - but none of my date's order came out in a timely fashion and then his order was always wrong. Our server was clearly new, but it somehow added to his charm. The decor is amazing and sensual, but the seating could be switched up to make it more comfortable for couples. Whatever you are doing, make sure that you take the time to check out POP!

Pop is a quaint and cozy place to dine. But unfortunately the service is atrocious. I had a large party booked a week in advance. They were out of Champagnes which is there forte and my guests had to wait an hour to get a drink. They should not have been out of things when our reservation was for 5pm and they opened at 5.The new General Manager never came by once to ask how things were and to apologize for the horrible service. I am disappointed that I subjected a party of 30 to this experience.

This is a wonderful, dimly lit, cozy little place that serves...of course..Champagne and delicious, mouth watering and unique desserts. Great place for girl's night out...enjoy sparkling wines, champagnes and cocktails over shared plates of tantalizing sweets. We ordered a few small bites before dessert..... which included the devilshly good devil eggs and a trio of yummy korean bbq beef tacos. Then for dessert...which I looked most forward to..hehe we had ordered the strawberry crepe with vanilla ice cream and a scoop of kaffir lime leaf ice cream. With the strawberry crepe...you must

Went with a friend of mine, but definitely going back with my gf. Great selection of wines; and even though I usually hate champagne, but the champagne flight they offered is making me reconsider. The server we happened to have was poor (not to mention slightly stupid since we left cash and told her that was hers, but she just took it off the card which I don't get :/) but I'm sure she is the exception, not the rule. Dining there at night gives the place a wonderful feel and it was absolutely romantic, despite it just being with a friend. Definitely a must.

This place is a lot of fun for a date night or girl's night out. Our waitress was a little distant at first and we were seated in the front by the window so she didn't visit us much. After we ordered a second round and some food she realized we would be spending more than just Happy Hour prices and warmed up to us very nicely. They have some interesting cocktails and some flights to try if your not too savvy with the bubbles as we weren't. The menu looks pretty good. We tried the meat plate which was not very good, but the mushroom bruschetta and lemon tart were quite nice.

The ambiance was nice. Great place to take your date. The food was good--unique; a bit pricey for the small size/portions. I paid $14 for their version of mac 'n cheese, and it was served in a 1 1/2 cup ramekin! It was a good thing we had ordered an appetizer. The dinner menu isn't extensive, but I wasn't expecting that, given the name of the restaurant. There was some confusion on our order a couple times. It's impressive when one can remember our orders by heart, but really, I'm not offended if they use a notepad, especially when they've taken 2 tables' orders prior to ours--it cuts down on possible mistakes. Dessert was yummy and swweeeet! (Nutella crepe). I guess when you have "dessert" in your name, it better be yummy.
