Citizen's fills a hole in the Scottsdale dining scene that was much needed. All of the food I've had so far is great, but I must say the bar snacks are my favorite!

Great Appetizers and Main Courses, service was also pretty good. As the restaurant and bar filled with customers it did get a bit noisy so this is not the place to go if you want something quiet and romantic. The restaurnat is casual and fun and I would definitely go back!

Lamb burger with pickled fresh veggies was delicious. The accompanying french fries had an odd texture. Try the fried squid with lime-cilantro dip as an appetizer.

Food I rated a 3 because my entree was cold and had to send it back. The flavors were amazing and the quality was excellant. Service was a mess from the moment we sat down right up to the time we left.

Service was uneven, but food was great. One complaint: the $3.50 charge every time they re-filled my relatively small glass of lemonade!

What a great dining experience. From the greeting to the service to the food, everything was top notch and amazing. The scallops were melt-in-your-mouth good, calamari was crisp and delicious and the Wagyu burger was flavorful. I was just sad I was too full for dessert! The strawberry pound cake looked amazing. I would definitely return.

Filet was awesome. Bread pudding had bacon in it which was odd - I don't like meat in my dessert. Overall good food and good experience.

Went there on a Friday night. This place was one of the loudest restaurants I have ever been there. Don't think about it if you want to have a conversation with your dinner group. Food was good. Service was horribly slow.

The staff creates a gracious and welcoming environment, extremely accomodating and very knowledgeable about the menu and wine. We were excited to find the original Stetson salad on the menu. Lots of variety from a delicious lamb burger to the fabulous short ribs! It's a winner. Can't wait to return for my third visit!

Mussels and fondue were good, salmon was overpriced and the cherry bbq sauce on the short ribs was WAY too sweet. When ordering dessert the server described the bread pudding as being "dry and overcooked" last time it was ordered - um not only is that unappetizing but it also is not really putting the best face on the restaurant. Wasn't "wowed", would go back for appetizers and drinks only

Citizen Public House is a fun new restaurant in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. The service was attentive and friendly throughout my visit. Chef Bernie's food was excellent. In particular, the Chopped Salad, Kiltlifter Fondue, and Pastrami Pork Belly were amazing!
