Do not expect extraordinary culinary dishes. Sufficient portions of average taste. Nothing fancy, but correct price-quality. Lovely tropical decor. Outdoor dining overlooking the renovated Tropicana pool and gardens.

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the whole experience was. We went for dinner prior to seeing Dancing with the Stars and the service as well as the food made for a most pleasant evening. The slot machines were a little tight but the bar music was fun after the show!

Went here several times while in Vegas. Celebrated my girlfriends birthday with some friends and it was awesome...went another time for a quiet dinner with my husband and food was just as good and so was the service ...Don't miss their Brunch as we also gave that a try and was not disappointed in any way...omelette bar moved fast and omelettes were to die for...don't miss their chocolate croissants or you will have missed a fabulous experience...Will return on our next trip to Vegas and the Tropicana for sure!!!! Did I mention the service??? The best!!! Patsy & Larry Timberlake

The bachelorette wanted a more casual place for our group of 7 to eat dinner. Everyone was pleased with my decision to try Beach Cafe. If you're looking for cocktails and other specialty drinks this is not the place. The food was delicious, however, and the low-key ambiance was perfect for us to chit-chat. Nice variety of American Cafe cuisine.

We sat outide near the pool and waterfall--very beautiful but the waterfall was loud. The service was excellent and the food reasonably priced, especially for Vegas. But the alcohol was expensive ($8-$9 for a domestic bottled beer)--but typical of Vegas.

Finding a reasonably priced, well prepared meal in Las Vegas is always a challenge. This dinner place had gotten very good reviews in Zagat for food and ambiance. Our waiter was superb. Great personality and great service. He also alerted us to the fact that the menu had just recently changed to a bar food appetizer only menu. He checked with management, who had just decided to add a sandwiches menu because of complaints. So we ordered off that. The patio was nice but the view of the hotel pool was partially obscured. Worst, the piped in music was deafening. Attempts to have it lowered were not successful. A comment to the manager as we left finally got a response, which was, of course, too late.

Our visit to Cafe Nikki was awesome! The champagne brunch was very filling... Kind of a weird assortment of food, but aside from that amazing. It definitely could have used a waffle station. As for the service, the bartender was taking care of the bar aswell as us and we never even noticed. She even made sure that when brunch ended at two we had a champagne to go, making it worth every penny. To top off our wonderful experience, it was also my boyfriends birthday... Seeing this on our reservation the manager made sure to visit our table himself along with a drink he made himself as a birthday present. Our visit was VERY memorable and the service was awesome! We wil definitely be returning.

Had to change reservation twice due to timing issues at our pool. They totally accomendated us. Sat us right away. Waited 15 mins for a server, this after my husband got up and went to the hostess. She didn't even remember seating us. Within mins a waiter did bring just water (we requested outside seating - being from Alaska - but it was 100*) After waiting another 15 mins our waitress finally came to our table. We were 1 of 3 table outside that had people - not real busy. Received our food - 4 seperate appitizers to taste/sample but no plates to eat them on. Had to ask twice for that. Waitress never came back to check if we needed additional drinks or refill our water - again it was 100* - we were outside!!! Food was delicious :)

Visit was great. Two small problems: My girlfriend is a vegetarian, and the menu description of salad we ordered (Alejandro, I think) said nothing about meat - it had bacon in it. We also ordered the California roll (the happy hour menu said nothing about meat - it had crab in it). Waiter was great, replaced that food with items without meat, and our 2 hours at Cafe Nikki were very enjoyable.

We can't say enought "good" about this place! The food was excellent! They had several unique choices - and, you could also have their buffet (which wasn't on the menu). The cost of the buffet was $25, which was a good deal considering the menu prices are a little high (but that's to be expected at a place on the strip!). The buffet was very upscale and all the food was fresh. The service was also amazing - fast and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. There were 6 of us and we each spent about $50 for dinner (including our meal, 2 alcoholic drinks each and tip). Overall - a GREAT experience! We would definitely go again!

Unfortunate service. we made reservations online, waited ten minutes to finally be sat in an empty restaurant. It took the server ten minutes to finally pour us our water and say "hello", as he dashed off again. when he finally approached the table again, twenty minutes later, he just walked up and asked "Are you ready to order?" Our order was finally placed after sitting a good half hour with only water to drink, and we finally received our SALADS after waiting an additional 20 minutes. There was no apology from the server on any wait time, and the restaurant still was not full. There was no sign of a manager until he came to a table of his friends next to us and rushed their food before we even ordered ours. As a local, I won't go again.

My family all met at Nikki's for a birthday lunch. Though all of the staff was extremely pleasant, service of both drinks and food was very slow. The food itself was well presented and tasty. Since we all came from different states for a short trip we ate most of our meals at Nikki's. Staff was extraordinarily pleasant at all times. Food and drinks were slow to come, however. If you don't mind a laid back friendly pace, you will enjoy the casual ambiance.
