This is a decent place to eat in the Ranch. Parents, look up the word baby sitter, google it. There is a Red Robin down the street if you are compelled to drag your toddlers to dinner, don't bring them here. Please.

I took my girlfriend here for our 1st Valentines together. I couldn't of asked for a better place. The food was outstanding and full of flavor! The atmospher was relaxing and romantic with the fire all around. Noise level where very quite, the bar looked fun. Overall I would stonglly recommend this resurant for any ocation. I don't see it working well with younger children.

Great menu with a variety of unique preparations. Great atmosphere. Only complaint was that the waiter continued to place blame on everyone and everything else for his lack. But overall, it was a great place to eat and enjoy the company.

We enjoyed the relaxed feel. It was too cold tosit outside, but the view of the fire pit is always fun. The Nat's salad was unique and tasty!

This was my first dining experience with the OBL and I was absolutely impressed. The food was amazing, the service was terrific, and our entire party commented (some even the next day) about the wonderful find in Highlands Ranch. OBL will now be a frequent stop for us!

The food and service were good but if you want to have an intimate conversation this is not the place to go. The way it is set up accoustic wise, voices echo everywhere and it is difficult to hear the person talking to you at yoru table.

This was our third trip to OLB. The first two were horrendous due to the service, but things seem to have changes. Our server was very friendly, prompt, and took great care of us. The food has always been outstanding if you are in the mood for American food with a Southwest flair

Met for dinner with 2 friends - hostess was very gracious and accommodating, in that she set my wife and I before the other party arrived. Server was pleasant, but somewhat inattentive. Don't know if the bar was backed up, but drink times were exceedingly long. Food quality and appearance were outstanding. Portion size on the chicken queso nachos was huge, even sharing them with 3 other people. I had the chicken sandwich, which was also quite good. Sweet potatoes fries were spot on. First time dining here, but will return. Great find!

This was our first trip to The Old Blinking Light, and certainly not our last. Just walking inside was a revelation; the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the ambiance relaxing and the decor refreshingly NOT like very many other places we've been. Our server was prompt and helpful, but not smothering; the food was tremendously fresh and flavorful, and we appreciated that much of it was organic and locally sourced. Great attention was paid to the children (interestingly, the kid's menu is posted at the door, so you know going in what's available; I found this very thoughtful and a nice touch), and I think they enjoyed it every bit as much as we did.

Limited menu, but excellent food. Since it is in Highlands Ranch, there are usually plenty of families, but the food is upscale and not at all like a chain restaurant. The food is always fresh and wine list is also quite good. i recommend it if you are looking for great food with a Southwestern flair!!
