THis is our new favorite. Remarkable, and in a way typical of the culinary traditions they are working with, for having a constant mix between sweet & savory at every course. portions that are not too small, but the food is rich, potent and fulfilling--it's just the right amount--esp if you are sharing and you should always share. The Pris Fixe is a great deal, and the specials are reliably special.

Wow, the food was great! We went on a Friday night with some sort of convention going on in the hotel, and there were several large groups in the smallish seating area -- so it wasn't as romantic as I'd planned, trying to make ourselves heard over our neighbors. And it did take forever to get our order in, even for drinks -- only a couple wait staff trying to juggling the parties. It's probably quieter at lunch, and looks like it would have wonderful natural lighting. But, again, the food was excellent, and our server was very accommodating about gluten intolerance. She went above and beyond for the dessert -- I'd mentioned the name of the birthday girl in our reservation, and it was written on the plate in chocolate! :)

The Kibbeh with yogurt and Orange Chicken is something to die for. Muhammad for sure knows what he is doing. The scene makes anyone feel comfortable and you are for sure to fall in love again looking deep into your loved ones eyes through the candle light. This is authentic home style Arabic food for a special occasion. I love the blueberry-pomogranate drink. Perfect place to be for a date. This was my fourth time dining at Saha and it is always the same experience or even better. Very nice of Muhammad to visit the customers when they are dining. Good practice and downright full of manners.

The food was so wonderful, I cannot stop talking about it!! I think the server may have forgotten about us all at one point, but she was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions. The only reason I say it was loud, I believe there was some party of some kind going on at the table right behind us. I didn't realize how nice the ambiance was until the party left. All in all, the experience teeters on memorable and rare find. I will definitely be bringing more visiting friends..even if I have to force them to come to San Francisco, just so we can go to Saha!

I love Saha, have been before, and will definitely go again. However, they were having an off night. Normally, they are friendly and knowledgeable about vegetarian concerns. However, tonight the menu featured a dish labeled as vegetarian that consisted of olives and anchovies. No other fish dish was marked as veggie, so I assume it was a mistake or misunderstanding. Also, our waiter didn't bring bread to our table because the first dish he was bringing had bread in it, but he had been informed that only one of us would be eating it because it contained meat. He seemed put out when we explained, but bread is typically served before the meal and we have never needed to ask. Saha claims to proudly serve vegetarians, but they need more training

The first time I went to Saha, I love the place. Therefore, when my friend was looking for a different restaurnat, I immediately suggested Saha. Unfortunately, the food showed up 40 min late and cold. Obviously someone had forgotten to bring us our food. When my friend (we did not complain) responded to their question of how was the food, and told the waitress that the food was cold. She simply stated that they were busy..sorry! I had expected more than sorry for our ruined dinner.

I used to go to La Patisserie when Mohammad was the chef there and loved it!!! So I had high expectations for Saha. Several of my friends always have great things to say about their meals. However, I think our experience must have been an 'off night'. Although the food was very tasty, half of our dishes were served barly warm. Our server never came back to offer us another beer or glass of wine. The dessert was just average. The tables are so close together, you can hardly get in and out without putting your backside in someone's face. We could overhear everything the couples next to us talked about. Based on the feedback from all of my friends, I will certainly give it another try, but this particular night was not that impressive.

It was a little disconcerting trying to find our way from the lobby to the restaurant, where the door was closed. Entering at 5:59, we had to wait to have a table set up for us. However, once we sat down, everything was great and the staff was enjoyable. We'll be back.

couldn't have been more disappointed. food was mediocre, photo I had seen on-line did not at all represent what it really looks and feels like inside. This should be a little hole in the wall ethnic spot with prices at least 50% less. Dinner turned out to be $40.00 a person and it was in no way worth it. Next night we ate at a well known restaurant in the heart of San Francisco with quality food, atmosphere, location and for the same amount of money.
