Rarely does a restaurant live up to the kind of hype that Buccan has received. Buccan not only lived up to it, but surpassed the hype. It is a culinary nirvana that includes both tapas and regular portions. I highly recommend that you let your server be your tastebud tour guide. OpenTable Diner Since 2007

Buccan is not typical Palm Beach dining. The crowd is notably younger and less stuffy than expected. Jeans appear to be as appropriate as a blazer, and the bar is crowded with fun, younger locals - even during the week. The menu is somewhat creative and very well executed. Thankfully, everything is not only delicious, but quite approachable as well.

The hottest spot in Palm Beach - not the typical "sleepy" PB restaurant. Food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. Call well in advance for reservations. We ate there two nights in a row on a recent visit to PB. We will return again soon.

We made our reservations two weeks in advance as this is the hottest place in town. The bar was lively and packed as was the restaurant with a comfortable buzz of noise and music. Lots of hip young people and well dressed slightly older ones too in this casual atmosphere. There are a variety of table styles round, square and bar top near the open kitchen. Small, medium and large plates of items are offered. The mushroom flatbread was particularly good as was the hot dog panini. I thought the tomato burrata was delicious but pricey for the size. Drinks were generous and the lemon drop martini was decidedly delicious. Many of the plates were designed to share and the staff was amenable to helping us decide on how much to order.

The service was great. The food was only decent- we found most of the dishes to be under seasoned, but a few were so over seasoned, they became inedible. The menu consists of small plates. It really allows the diner to taste many items on the menu. I recommend the lamb, the arugula-beet salad, and the burrata. Overall, it was a fun experience and the restaurant is a welcomed addition to Palm Beach.

This was my second time eating at the restaurant and though it was good it was not as great as my first experience both with the food and the service. My waiter was really not that helpful - its a confusing menu overall and though i had been there before it was my guests first time. Foodwise, it seemed to be a little different - not as tasty in some cases and just overall ok. I will go back because its a fun place but my first experience was so outstanding that i can only hope that they will bounce back.

Before our trip to West Palm Beach, we did a little research on good restaurants. We found a glowing review of the newly opened Buccan and decided to give it a try. Boy, are we glad that we did!! The service was superb and the food was outstanding - original, fresh, delicious, perfectly balanced flavors, seasoned and cooked to perfection. Buccan also has an amazing wine list and friendly knowledgeable staff to help you make a selection based on your palate. We could not have a had a better experience, and we will definitely be back!!

Finally - a restaurant comes into the Palm Beach market with something vibrant & unique. Too often new restaurants in this town misunderstand the market, opting to open expensive luxury restaurants (usually Italian). Piper Quinn & Chef Clay Conley hit the nail on the head with this casually elegant restaurant with fabulous food & the right vibe for today's Palm Beach.

Had dinner with a friend i hadn't seen in 30 years from NYC. There are many fantastic restaurants there that I miss but Buccan compares to some of my faves. The restaurant is modern and laid out well. When we arrived it was fairly early but most of the tables were filled and by 7:15 it was packed both at table and bar but it only lent itself to the vibe of this new restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the tuna tartare, hot dog, brussel sprouts and pasta plus the most delicious chocolate bread pudding. I can't wait to go back and eventually try all the dishes each of which sounded equally amazing. I hope they can keep the quality consistent which is a problem with many south florida restaurants, I will be back
