Everything from the greeting to the service was superb. Of course, what will bring me back is the food. Interesting flavors and wines. I love it.

Great food in a charming spot. And we even had an impromptu jazz group (one of whom is the owner's dad) performing for us.

good wine list, but even better- they reward wine snobs with $10 corkage fee for wines '02 or older. Good food & good service.

The risotto was the best I have ever had. Light yet with complex layers of flavors and textures. Unfortunately I had to split this with my date, because I wanted to eat the entire bowl.

  • I chose this place to go to

I chose this place to go to for my birthday dinner with my dad. It was really lovely. The service was phenomenal- very kind and knowledgeable, not pompous in any way. The food was fantastical. I had the risotto and my dad had the braised lamb. And the wine list brought back old memories of different wines that I love- perfect! Will definitely be back.

Had to book an early reservation due to last-minute booking. But we didn't feel rushed at all, on the contrary they made sure we took our time to enjoy our meal and wine pairings. The service along with the fantastic food will definitely bring us back someday very soon.

From start to finish, we had a really wonderful experience. My friends were late, but the hostess seated me right away and couldn't have been nicer. I had had a long day, but felt relaxed as soon as I sat down. The service was great throughout and the food was just amazing. We shared a couple starters and then I had the risotto. I ate every last bit, it was so tasty. The apple crisp was spendy, but it was a good portion and really delicious. I can't wait to come back here again!

  • I give this five stars partly
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008

I give this five stars partly because the entrés were trily outstanding and partly because tge spirit of this pmace was so great. But the elsewhere highly reviewed Burrata (small plate) was really only fair the night we went. Toast was really soggy, and greens weirdly congealed. Seemed as if this plate were so popular they made tons of it and it had been sitting around too long. We went early and it was delightfully quiet for most of the meal and still good to tzlk as it filled up. Reallt knowledledgeable waitstaff. Really worth going back

  • Wonderful fresh ingredients

Wonderful fresh ingredients made with love in simple but elegant presentations. I love restaurants that stick to a smaller number of choices on their menu based on what is available and in-season. Everything was seasoned perfectly, as so many places seem to think the more ingredients they add to something make it better, rather than overwhelming your palate. Also adored a single cookie option for dessert, just enough sweetness to end the dinner instead of being overly indulged and leaving too full :)
