A word from Beckett's Table
Chef Justin Beckett brings together what matters to him most: family, friends and honest, incredible food. With considerable help from his partners and longtime friends Scott and Katie Stephens and his wife Michelle, Beckett has created an irresistible hangout for his discerning Arcadia/Biltmore neighbors, people who expect comfort and sophistication in equal measure and get it here.

The same grounded approach is evident on the menu, which emphasizes Seasonal American Cooking in dishes such as Creamy Grits and Spicy Andouille Sausage with mustard jus, Pork Osso Buco Confit with spinach pancetta spaetzle , or Fork Tender Short Ribs with creamy mashed potatoes, sautéed veggies, red wine reduction.

Factor in the inviting bar, roomy patio and community table, and it gets even easier to follow the Beckett's Table mandate: Come Together.

Beckett's Table is top-notch food in a warm, casual environment. The food is superb yet unfussy -- just simple and expertly done. We had the short ribs and pork osso buco, both of which were amazingly tender and delicious. A great wine list, along with some terrific signature cocktails. There's also many options for gluten-free meals, as well as some vegetarian. You will routinely see the owner walking around the tables saying hi, and the personal touches make this a place I'll be back to regularly.

We had dinner at 9:00 on a Saturday night, and they were out of four different dishes that we wanted to order. The menu is not that extensive for them to be out of so much and still have compelling items to order. For the food that we did get, it seemed like they were trying to hard to be overly eclectic, and some more basic recipes would serve them well. We give them credit that the service was very good.

I would recommend it only to people who really like lots of noise while eating dinner. If they keep the glass doors open, do not sit at tables 20,21,22 because it was very breezy and cold---they were not happy when I asked if the could close the door by our table, not to mention the food got cold very fast.

The food is fantastic, from the pork osso bucco to the short ribs to the green chili stew, and the desserts are great too - the rice pudding was amazing. Our server, Tracy, was attentive and full of helpful information about the food and the wine. Oh the wine! Nice selection (not huge) and we very much enjoyed the Page Springs red, which we were told was straight from the winemaker's own cellar. Yum! The prices are very good for such great fare.

Beckett's table is a great place! We have been there twice, and had a great meal both times. The only reason we haven't been there more often is that it is not real close to home. If we lived in the Arcadia area, we would probably eat there at least once a week. The staff is very friendly, and all seem to have a passion about great food. They seem to enjoy talking about the Chef Beckett's latest creations. Seeing Chef Beckett work the crowd from the open kitchen or as he visits with guests make it obvious where the rest of the staff get their enthusiasm. Then there's the food. It's fantastic! We can't help but order an appetizer, entree and dessert because we want to try everything and we have not been disappointed. Go soon!

It is not very vegetarian friendly. It only has one main course that is vegetarian and it lacks on many levels. I was disappointed because it was so bland and boring. There are so many creative things a chef can do then just offering grilled vegetables. The other three at the table had meat dishes and they said it was great so I gave my rating as "good" taking their comments into consideration.

The food was outstanding, everyone in our party of 7 enjoyed the entrees and the desserts were also great with the fig and pecan pie and chocolate covered bacon s'mores being the highlights. The wait staff was attentive, however, the server forgot to bring my husband his glass of wine, therefore the "very good" for our overall review. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a lovely meal that is reasonably priced and in a friendly and courteous environment.

Vegetarian friend LOVED the Roasted Vegetable Tower. Rock Shrimp Enchilada appetizer was very tasty, but, the chili powder was a bit over-whelming, almost bitter. Short Rib was fantastic, more like a slow cooked pot roast chunk of beef, but great. Had 2 of the Arizona Cowhand Cocktails, was ok, had the 2nd one hoping it would be somewhat stronger with the alcohol... come on guys, pony up a bigger shot. All in all, a great meal and we will be back soon.

Service was great with a waitperson who was attentive but not intrusive. Just not that impressed with the food. I ordered the fish which was the only option for a pescatarian like me. The fish was smelly salmon when it arrived, the sauce did not add to the dish. I would recommend putting additional vegetarian items on the menu and another fish dish. My dining companions loved their dishes (short braised rib and mussels) so it seems to be a problem with the fish. I would not go back until this is resolved unless it was just for drinks.

Truth be told we were expecting a lot more with all the BUZZ. The waitress was a bit 'affected' although attentive. We had two salads - chopped and butter lettuce - both were nice but it's just salad - we had the sausage appetizer over the grits - it was okay. Husband had chicken and dumplings which was nothing remarkable and I had the Short ribs which came with green beans and mashed potatoes.- I changed the mashed potatoes to spaetzle - that was the best part of my meal -the short rib was dry and not very flavorful. Desert was Death by Chocolate - which was three small squares of dark chocolate layered with a white chocolate served frozen cold. It was a mini chocolate bar that should not be called Death by Chocolate
