Atlantic Grill's restaurant week menu is definitely one of the more filling and worth it. The food quality was great; the seafood and vegetables were very fresh. Great ingredients, great ambience, and our server was polite and attentive. Our food came quickly and the spacing between each course was perfect in my opinion. It was an overall relaxing meal.

We enjoyed the vibrant scene and good food, but were disappointed in the service. Waiter seemed rushed or nervous. We did appreciate his attention, and smile, when he remarked that the additional martini ( one was accidently spilled) was on the house.

The staff were very accomodating and mede the experience wonderful. The Hamashi was excellent aa was the flank steak. We had the sorbet trio for dessert and the apricot was a bit too tart otherwisw very good. It was a wonderful dining experience. The only draw back is that the restaurant can be a bit too noisy.

Attending a show at Lincoln center, meant we needed an early reservation. We were impressed at the friendliness of the lady who seated us, the manager and our waiter Andy who was professional and attentive.Despite being there so early , and there being only a smattering of other diners, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. Service was fast but not rushed. We all ordered fish dishes and all were excellent, definite Asian influence . The sushi I ordered was wonderful and beautifully presented. We had time to sit at the bar for a bit and ther service there was very friendly. Other clients happy to chat also. We will definitely go back.

Atlantic grill is a great solid upper west side restaurant. I have been here a few times, twice with my sleeping infant in the stroller (which they easily set up next to our table with no hassle) and once with friends. They are always accommodating, and professional and The food is always delicious. This time I had the Scallops. They were a decent size and were so yummy.

Chatham cod was excellent BUT presented on a bed of ovrcooked soupy greens on top of "forbidden rice" that was drowned of flavor and texture. Tossed green salad was marred by excess of vinegar. I remarked on the vinegar to the waiter and was brought two (2) extra chocolate desserts. Very nice, but altogether plumping and inappropriate for stomachs needing to survive the rest of the evening.

This was the first time that we went to the Atlantic Grill. Food was terrific and the service wonderful. We ordered both from the Rest Week menu and some additional dishes. Consistency was there across the board. The servers were very personable, attentive but not overbearing and everything came out in a timely manner. We would absolutely return.

While usually I have had great meals and service at this restaurant over countless reservations in the past, last night both were TERRIBLE. Even the restroom was filthy. It is not the usual experience there, but last night was shockingly bad and a huge disappointment. Even the next day, I STILL feel I have been ripped off. My advice at this point- eat before you go; meager portions of fish, horrendous service, staff that is more interested in saying the expected than listening to the answers and generally taking for granted the substantial patron base that their location and history provides. I hope last night is not predictive of future experiences.

I guess you could say food is average so if that's the case, you're paying more for "average." But problem is not much choice for that area. Also went there hoping to eat and bar and watch games. Called ahead (twice) to make sure they get cable nets and when I got there, the connection was bad and bartender was annoyed I asked him to check other tv. No need to come back.

We went here for restaurant week. The meal was delicious and plentiful. We frequent this restaurant often both for brunch, which is terrific, and for dinner. During this last visit, my husband was given a broken water glass which caused the water to spill all over his shirt and pants. Our waitress and the manager did everything possible to make amends for this mishap. They could not have been more attentive or nice. The manager provided us with some extras and all went out of their way to make sure that my husband was okay and that our meal was enjoyable nonetheless. Atlantic Grill is still one of our neighborhood favorite restaurants.

Overall the food is ok. I ordered a steak, but some of them was overcooked. Desserts were very tasty. I Like the chocolate and up down cake. Not satisfied with the lady who led us to the table. Firstly, she was nearly a poker face who didn't say anything but just walked before us. Secondly, she directed us to a table which was at the "crossroads" of the restaurant. I Don't like the arrangements and I suggest that they dropped the table at that location.

I would like to see more variety in the fish menu. There are really only 5 types of fish on the dinner menu, all of which are common: cod, salmon, trout, bronzino, and tuna. I would like to see more fish-stew type dishes offered. I would like to see more information on the menu about the points-of-origin of the seafood offered and a sustainability symbol rating next to each item. Here is one reputable rating system: http://www.seafoodwatch.org/cr/seafoodwatch/web/sfw_factsheet.aspx .

Really good food and great service. It was my first time and look forward to returning. I took two guests who chose to order just salads and no drinks, probably for dietary reasons; and I did not feel the usual disappointment from the server who was extremely friendly and professional. I of course gave him a very nice tip. I look forward to returning again -- and I'll bring my friends who eat and drink a lot!

Our crabcakes were very good. But the service was incredibly slow and, when it looked like we weren't going to order a feast with champagne, the waiter took on a very annoyed tone. The food took forever to come, which meant he got an even lower total from us because by the time the food came, there was no time to order dessert. Then they got very confused with the bill itself--charged us two times, then once but not the right amount. All we had were two crabcakes and some fries. No drinks, nothing else. How hard can that be? And if they had moved us along, the waiter could have had another table in half the time. Also, WAY TOO NOISY!

I went during Restaurant Week. They mixed up my order and brought my sandwich before my appetizer salad. But I was glad for the mix-up, because when I started eating the sandwich, I knew I wouldn't be able to eat the salad afterwards. The waiter brown-bagged my salad. Dessert (I got the upside down strawberry shortcake) was just okay, but the sandwich was delicious and very filling. Will come again.

While I thought the food was pricy, especially the sushi (which was two miniature pieces), the bronzino, salmon and tuna were quite good, although the salmon billed as a large plate, did not contain much fish. I recommend the bronzino, and the salmon was good. The ice cream desert was ok, but the applied crisp was dry and could have been pretty good if served with more than the teaspoon-sized dollop of common ice cream to moisten it up. Over all, I would recommend if for restaurant week.
