A word from Cooper Pub
Cooper brings European style to a warm, friendly pub with food that is a destination in itself. The menu includes hearty pub classics with and without twists, vegetarian and ethnic specialties, lighter dishes to satisfy wee cravings, and homemade soups and sauces. Our happy hour highlights a round-the-clock sense of value, with a diverse appetizer menu and loads of drink options. Our Wee Lunch, which includes salad, fries and wee sandwich or burger, is perfect if you normally don’t split or share items. We haven’t limited ourselves to traditional Irish fare – healthy choices abound which will satisfy your hard-working appetite any day of the week.

The Pub Life is our heart. Relax with a newspaper and a 2 Gingers Whiskey, invite some friends for stimulating conversation over perfectly poured pints, or engage in some old-world-inspired friendly competition over a game of darts or billiards.

Whichever you choose, come in. Make yourself at home. Stay a while.

I hadn't been to Cooper in a while so we decided to give it another try. Very busy at 8:30 with positive good energy. Servers were friendly. Food served quickly. Despite one issue with reservation, we had a good time.

We took our kids before seeing a movie on a Sunday night. It was not busy (the only time I've seen it that way.) Overall the food was really good. Jennifer warned us of the horseradish in the mustard for the pub pretzels (good thing, she wasn't lying!) I'll say my side salad was a weak attempt but overall the dinner was good. I'd go back with friends or family.

Mobbed and I feel sorry for the wait staff if the noise level is the same every night. "Energetic" is hardly the way to describe the noise level, but an over amplified rock concert might be a better description. If you want to carry on a conversation at your table without screaming find someplace else to eat on Saturday night. Otherwise good "pub food" and beer.

Parking described as below restaurant. I drove to the spot directly under the place. No elevator. Parked in the middle by the elevator. Very long walk for the handicapped. Found out afterwards there was an elevator closer but not where I expected. Now I still had to walk to the car. I chose this place because do their parking description. Please understand how upsetting this is. However the food was good and the waitress perfect.

Great order off the menu brunch. Bloody Mary & other breakfast drink specials. My husband loves what they call their brunch potatoes and their bacon. Kids under 11 eat free. Overall a great value. Also they take reservations which is not the norm for a lot of breakfast spots.

Had reservations at 7:45 and were seated immediatly upon getting there at about 7:40. My wife and I had already looked over the menu online so all we looked at was what we were going get for dessert. They have many different options for food and what we got was quite tasty. It seemed like service was a little slow but that may partially be because we already knew what we wanted and had to wait for the server to return. I would be aware that you shouldn't send the server away because you need more time to look at the menu. I could see that the server might not make it back to you for 15 or more minutes. We were almost done eating before he came back to check on us. We were out in about 45 mins though so we had good luck! We'll be back.

While the restaurant is fairly busy on a Friday, we were quickly seated coming 15 minutes ahead of our scheduled reservation. Really enjoyed their lamb burger and expanded list of beers. The atmosphere is definitely noisy and busy, but very comfortable. Didn't have any issue holding a conversation.

Who would have thought, an Irish pub that offers brunch? I'm over the moon happy that I decided to try Coopers for brunch! There wasn't a single complaint in my entire party of 8 very happy people: the waitress was spot-on terrific, the food was amazing, the restaurant was clean, and the bloody marys....oh, the bloody marys..... order the Premiere, you'll be delighted with the special "straw" and the slider they add.... you won't regret it. If I had any complaint at all, it is that Coopers isn't closer to my home.... I drove from an hour and a half away, and cannot wait to get back there again!

The food was quite good. The range of beverages was excellent. The bar and facilities are beautiful. Because it is a popular nightspot (we were there on Friday), it was quite noisy and thus difficult to converse with our colleagues at dinner. I will try it again but probably on a different night or for lunch

I was impressed how the management staff worked right along the servers helping clear tables and opening it for the next group to be seate.

Cooper food has pretty much been mediocre since the ownership changed. The only thing special about this bar IS the bar itself - great ambience, okay to good service, etc. However, really, if you're coming here for dinner purposely, I'd just go next door to another fine West End establishment. I had a salad and they forgot to put chicken on it - had to ask for the chicken. Great drinks, okay apps . . . REALLY LOUD AND ANNOYING TRIVIA that starts around 8 p.m. Really, 8? People are still eating dinner at that time.

Atmosphere was a delight. Waiter was polite and capable; we waited a while for our order and our food. The quiche was described in the menu as having a potato based crust...instead, it came out in a flaky-croissant bowl-like crust. Given that I don't eat bread, it wasn't exactly what I expected. I wished that the menu description was more accurate. My mother brought a cake to celebrate birthdays that she handed off to the staff upon arrival. At the end of our meal, we were told there was a $15 cake fee. If you charge a fee, you need to tell guests AT THE DOOR, not at dessert time; and keep in mind that whenever I encounter this fee, I add the restaurant to the list of those I will never again go to celebrate a special occasion.

I would and already have recommended Cooper's to friends. However, I hope they don't have to sit in the same uncomfortable booth seat that I had to. I had the choice of either sitting comfortably and being so low and far away from the table that I couldn't eat without feeling like a child without a booster seat, or I could sit on the edge of the seat that, although allowed me to look my date in the face without having to look up at her, afforded me all the comforts of sitting on a two by four. Seating aside, I found the food and the service to be exceptional and well priced. It really is a shame that the seating was less than satisfactory as it could have been a perfect dining experience. Hopefully I'll find better seating next time.

We have been all over the Twin Cities in search for the best fish and chips and we found that the cod fish, done extra crispy, is the best here. Having had poor experiences at other so-called "Irish Pub" establishments, but having heard good things from others about Cooper, I decided to book a table for brunch for a number of friends in to visit from out of town. I arrived exceptionally early, but I was seated right away and ordered a drink and waited for the others to arrive. Our server was great, the staff was great and the food was exceptional. There were a great variety of dishes to choose from, so there really was something for everyone. We tried three different appetizers, five different breakfast meals and everyone was happy. So happy, mind you, that two of our group are planing to come back again in a month and decided we need to have brunch or dinner there. We will be back!
