A word from The Rackhouse Pub
Nestled in the bosom of Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey Distillery, the Rackhouse Pub tries to be as hardcore Colorado as our neighbors. Here you’ll find a hand-picked selection of Colorado beers, micro-distilled spirits, soda, meats, cheeses and local produce (when available). Our menu brings pub food to a completely different level with creative spins on old classics, as well as new creations that accentuate our unique bar selections. The Rackhouse Pub’s ”steampunk“ décor is created from used Stranahan’s barrels and the cedar beams from the original Stranahan’s rackhouse. You’ll often find local art gracing our walls as we support the Santa Fe Arts District and other local creative outlets.

Cheers,

Kendra, Chris, Clarke & Jayson

The restaurant was quiet when we were there so we had no trouble getting a table right away. Our server was excellent - friendly and knowledgable with great recommendations on both food and beer. We enjoyed the food (maybe too much!) but I would recommend adding at least one healthy entree option and expand the dessert menu a bit. We plan to bring a group of friends for dinner soon as they are all whiskey drinkers.

Food was good for pub fare. Wait staff while pleasant really needs to step up their game. Long periods between the waitress checking back in at the table. Most times we had to flag her down or get up and go find her. We were her only table until a larger party came in sometime after we sat down. We were told that the larger party took precedence over us and that was the reason for the delays. Not a good thing to tell paying customers. Food was good and we looked forward to dessert. Desserts were awful. Two of us ordered the bourbon pecan pie expecting something special since this establishment is a distillery. Pecan pie was like something you can get from a vending machine and bread pudding was really bad.

Awesome food, great tap selection of CO brews, friendly staff, and a hidden gem for that on-the-way-to-the-game/museum/concert trip. Not the greatest place for a quiet meal, but you will get your grub on. The Macs are fantastic - try the green chili one.

Food was wonderful - met everyone's taste in a large party of 9. It was great that we could actually make a reservation! Service was a different story. Half our table were served their meals - then waiter apologized for a "mis-communication" and said rest of our order would be out soon - waited 10-15 minutes - finally told others to go ahead and eat. Two people got their meals - 3 others still waiting. After the others were finished we got ours - waiter offered to "comp" first round of drinks to compensate - when bill arrived - he comped 5 drinks - not the entire group. After discussion with mgr. it was made right - made for an uncomfortable meal for all - kind of a mood killer for what could have been a great night out otherwise.

Make sure to schedule a tour of the adjoining Stranahan's Whiskey Distillery before your meal. The Rackhouse menu is infused with Stranahan's related recipes and a visit to the distillery compliments an understanding of the menu, which is funky and fun. What an incredible Pub! Great inventive food, terrific atmosphere and how could you go wrong with Stranahan’s Whiskey distillery next to you! You can tell that the chef and the staff truly take pride in what they do because everything was deliciously homemade. The ribs and baked beans were scrumptious as well as the bison burger and hearty cut French fries. And you have to ask for Troy. He was most hospitable and guided us through the menu, beers and whiskey. We can’t wait to go back during winter to try their hearty chilis.

Rackhouse Pub is a favorite of our family. The atmosphere is more like a bar so you may not recognize from outward appearances that the food is that of a trendy upscale restaurant with a creative chef, which it has. Great deal for lunch as well. My son in LA noticed an article in the LA newspaper where a person had requested the columnist get the recipie for the macaroni and cheese from the Denver Rackhouse Pub, and they published it. Now, that is a treasure. The nice people, food and beer keeps you coming back.

We had to push back our reservations twice due to I-25 being closed for an accident. They were accomodating and great about it. We ended up with late night dining at 10:15 after our concert instead of prior to the show. The food - even at 10:15 was great!. The Prime Rib was very good and the grilled cheese got rave reviews! The mac-n-cheese was the best ever and the BLT salad was delicious. All that and plenty of Stranahan's - the best whiskey on the market today - made for a wonderful late night dining experience!

Rackhouse gets 4 stars despite the painfully slow service we experienced. When I say slow...I mean SLOW! Our server may have looked just like Alicia Keys, but her service certainly didn't hit any high notes.  Once we were sat, we waited for 10 mins before she came over. When she arrived, she announce that she was changing out the draft beer list on our menu, but once she did that, she walked away. We assumed she must be a hostess changing out all of the menus and continued to wait. 5 more minutes and she came back to ask if we needed anything to drink. Whoa. Yes we did. 15 minutes ago. Drinks arrived and we placed our orders. Luckily we had good company and good friends to pass the time. But when our dinner mates mentioned that it
