A word from The Lobby - Denver
At The Lobby, we aim to be your new home away from home. Get a great Colorado craft beer (we have 12 on draft, and more in bottles and cans!), enjoy some specialty cocktails, and have dreams about the bacon. Our menu is American, concentrating on twists of some of your childhood favorites. Triple Decker Grilled Cheese, Carbomb French Toast, Mama's Meatloaf Sammy and Stuffed Burgers are some of our most popular! We also specialize in killer brunch, accompanied by the best bottomless mimosas in town!

We want you to grab all of your friends and come in for a family meal, so we can easily accommodate groups from 2 to 25 whether you make a reservation, call while you're on your way, or just show up! Though, reservations are always suggested and appreciated! Have a group larger than 25? Contact our Purveyor of Good Times to plan your special event for up to 300 people!

Everything from the staff to the food was spot on for what I am looking for in a restaurant. They have plenty of special events such as monthly wine tastings. With a new menu rolling out this month, its a must eat at spot.

Some food was good, like the Potato Soup and Caesar Salad. The Tuna Sliders and the Burger were just ok. I might try again for Brunch, but I don’t think I would go back again for dinner. Too many other places to enjoy.

I am always surprised that there aren't more people at this restaurant. The brunch scene in the summertime is great. The outdoor patio is comfortable, even in the midst of the traffic off a main street it is quiet. The food is very good and the service is always quite responsive.

I truly enjoyed, what I would consider this to be a hole in the wall. The only difficult thing about this place was it is not very visible for someone who has never been there, trying to find it. The food was great and it has a great setup.

The Lobby has been fantastic every time we have visited. The staff are friendly and chef Charlie went out of his way to welcome us. I have never had a meal there I didn't enjoy. The Lobby is a great place for a casual meal or for a date night.

Best patio in Denver - lot's of trees and greenery in a secluded courtyard off the street. Food was good too. Had the Mahi w/risotto - excellent. Crabcake appetizer - good and the ribeye - cooked to order.

Could have been we were there too early. Also, there was a Rockies game with hopes of post season still in the minds of fans. NO ONE was in the restaurant. The patio was very nice, and populated by some. Would be a great place to meet friends during the summer for a happy hour. The food was okay. I had the sliced steak since they were out of Ribeye (really?). The mashed potatoes were cold and didn't seem too fresh. My fiance & my stepdad had a chicken pasta that was bland and congealed into a paste by the end of dinner. My mother had the etouffee which out of all the dishes had the most spice and flavor. Our server was probably the best part of the experience. He didn't have very many tables, but was kind and prompt.

The food is really good. I LOVE the Blue Cheese Balls! Stuffed burgers are great, I recommend the Swiss Mushroom burger. The wine tasting on the third Tuesday is also great. However, I've had the same low energy waiter twice. Maybe third time's a charm...

The Lobby is a hidden garden spot in the midst of a very busy area. The outdoor patio seating is pleasant no matter what time of day. The staff is friendly, the mimosas are plentiful at brunch and it is such a nice place in general. There is ample parking nearby and you can often find a spot directly in front of the entrance.

  • Great space, but mediocre
    OpenTable Diner Since 2004VIP
    Dined on 7/14/2010
Great space, but mediocre everything else. We were told about a tequila pairing menu when we walked in, and the hostess kept insisting on it, then asked us, before we got sat or looked at a menu, if we wanted to order it. I thought, "do we get to look at a menu first?" Asked our server, who was loud and cavalier, about the pairing and he was clueless as to what was featured. My girlfriend ordered the crab salad (a pile of baby greens, undressed, with some mealy, tasteless canned crab on top). No thought went into the preparation. No soul, no love, just ingredients on a plate. I ordered the "Carpaccio," which was not carpaccio, but cooked, sliced steak with a gummy weird cheese sauce. There seems to be no guiding vision.

We visited The Lobby after a Rockies game and enjoyed the experience. It was raining when we arrived, so we didn't choose the delightful garden patio. There is an awning over the outdoor dining area, but the temperature was a little cool that evening. The food was excellent, especially the stuffed mushrooms appetizer, Melted Brie Salad and Roasted Corn Soup. Our server was very efficient, but seemed detached and unenthusiastic. He did not volunteer information about the menu, but answered questions we had. We will return to this restaurant when we can eat in the beautiful garden. A public parking lot is next door for $2, so that was an added bonus.
