  • Great Brunch-but jelly isn't free?

The house potatoes are delish! I don't know what the restaurant does to bacon but it is incredible. The eggs were fine. Toast was not toasted enough. I had to ask for a refill on my coffee and jelly for the toast. The jelly was a jelly with seeds, which I can't stand and here is the kicker-they charged me for it. Bad form! I really enjoyed the food, except my expensive jelly but the service was not great and seriously-toast without jelly? What is the point? I have reccomended the Lobby to people before but I have to say-I was really put off by the charge for the jelly. It isn't the amount-it's the idea of charging me for condiments. If I tell anyone else about the Lobby, I will let them know they need to bring their own jelly.

Was a quiet dining experience until around 8:30 pm., when the bar crowd started to arrive. Wait staff said that their weekend brunch and patio was a good thing to experience. their salmon entrée was really good, however, the pork loin my husband ordered was really dry. We had a great campanade appetizer and great choices of beers. Overall, it was a good experience and we will go back to sample their brunch venue sometime this summer and enjoy the great patio.

My friends and i have a love/hate relationship with the Lobby.... its a convenient place to go and get drinks but we cannot stand the food. I have had several terrible brunch meals there, and dinner proved to be better, but still pretty gross. The menu also lacks in depth and creativity. For such a gorgeous building and great ambiance, they DEFINITELY need to revamp the food. I wish i could say I am excited to go back buuuuut....

Loved the venue. Smack in the middle of LoDo and close to stadium, yet the courtyard has charm and is nicely sheltered while getting plenty of sunshine. Food was tasty, non-fussy and plentiful. Three of us went for a late lunch, so it was quiet and we had attentive servers who offered their own favorites when questioned- all to good result. Will go again!

  • New Years Eve Dinner

We waited until the last minute to make reservations for dinner so I was happy when I came across The Lobby and their New Years Eve Pre-Fixe menu ($40 per person) w/ optional wine paring ($18). Our reservation was for 9:15, it took a little while before we were acknowledged. I liked the location of our booth but was surprised by the tears in the material. I ordered the pre-fixe menu w/ wine pairing and found the prime rib to be average. The wine was decent but would hardly call it a pairing. I was not told what the wine was nor how it paired as you would be with a traditional pairing. My bf ordered the pork and apples form their regular menu and while the waitress said it was one for the best things on the menu, it was average at best.

Space is nice, staff is good and attentive but the food was fairly pedestrian. The chicken fried biscuits and gravy breakfast was so salty it was inedible. The service would have received a higher rating if they had noticed the uneaten meal and asked why it was unfinished.

Went on a Tuesday night @ 6:30 ...was not aware that it is also stand up comedy night. The server was very attentive and made great recommendations. The food was good...the green chile tater tots were great. Also really enjoyed the Diablo stuffed burger. Overall great experience. But just know that on Tuesday you're gonna get comedy and some adult humor with your meal/drinks. If you want it a little more low key ask to be seated downstairs.

I haven't spent much time in this part of town and had never heard of the Lobby, even though our server said it's been open four years. It was pretty slow for a Saturday night, which, while not good for the restaurant, was great for us because we had excellent service (ask to sit in Diego's section if you go). Our meal was decent - traditional pub fare, nothing really outstanding but just good food. The place definitely has a welcoming, neighborhood feel. I absolutely plan to go back and try their brunch and I can't wait for the warm weather to come back so I can join in some happy hours in their expansive courtyard.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, but a couple menu items did not come out as described on the menu, and the food runner obviously didn't know the menu because she argued with my friend about it, rather than fixing it, and when they fixed my other friends' salad it came back out to the table with 1/4th the amount of lettuce. Also they should've had another bartender because drink service to our table was EXTREMELY slow. In all fairness, the restaurant was absolutely slammed though

This is a great place for a group brunch! Usually filled with 20-somethings, I highly recommend it after a night out on the town :) Bottomless mimosas in the form of towers make it especially awesome when there are 5 or more of you! I definitely recommend the smothered tots (they have several varities but the green chili are awesome!) and the chicken fried chicken is my hands-down favorite! I recommend making a reservation or you will defintely have a wait.

The waitresses were great, but the food and drinks missed the mark horribly. The bartender didn't know the difference between sour mix and ginger beer, making a vodka sour and not a Moscow Mule multiple times. The food was bland with tatertots cooked out of a well known frozen bag supplier, and the rest of the food being more like an upscale 'Sonic Drive In'. The location has so much promise, even with the name, but the food and drinks just didn't fit it at all.

I walked past The Lobby many times on the way to baseball and kept meaning to stop in but never did until recently and I was very glad I did. The building itself is very cool and the food was really good. As a heads up dinner was served ala carte -the idea is that you'll get several things to share-and share we did. The pork was a tad overcooked but very flavorful. The salmon was cooked beautifully. And they finished it off with a great dessert .. fried dough with a chocolate Bourbon sauce--well worth blowing your cheat day or diet on.

My husband and I have been eating at The Lobby since it first opened. We loved this place. However, within the last 8 months or so, The Lobby has steadily gone down hill. I don't know what has happened, but the food has been consistently bad. The menu has changed a lot, and not for the better. We used to make a special trip for their stuffed burgers and blue cheese balls. The cheese balls are nothing like they used to be and the burger selection is not what it used to be. This time I ordered a chicken dish that was mediocre at best. My husband tried one of the new stuffed burgers and was dissatisfied. Unfortunately, I think this was our last ditch effort to hold on to one of our old favorites. I doubt we return.

The brunch is good if you crave bottomless mimosas and bloody mary's. I have been to The Lobby several times and miss their old menu. The new menu is not very good, the selection is very little and too much like other restaurants. I miss the blue cheese jalapeno popper omelet. If you want a great deal on bottomless mimosas the place is great and so is the atmosphere.

We had a large group go to The Lobby for brunch. We got their at 9am -- it fills up by 10 or 11. The food was very good (unique menu items like Cuban Benedict) and we enjoyed the Towers of Power (mimosa towers). We sat on the patio which is shaded nicely. The interior is beautifully restored, but we'll save that for the cold months. We will be back.

Nice brunch with well prepared "comfort food". Burritos, omelets, benes all good. Burgers looked good too. Love the tots! Indoor decor okay, w/ hardwood floor and ceiling, got quite noisy. Many groups (good locale for that). Place to sit is outside. Nice covered patio. We requested it here in Open Table, didn't get it. Wasn't acknowledged at all by hostess. Was told first-come, first-served on patio. Drinks were good, mimosas and spicy bloody mary. Wait staff was cordial and helpful. No issues. Good location for a casual brunch - more suited to brunch after a late night, rather than a dress smart, Easter brunch. Laid back, good to relax. Young crowd hanging with friends, re-grouping after the prior evenings festivities. We enjoyed it.

Met a friend for brunch. Did not start out great as they did not have the OpenTable reservation in their system (or the guy didn't know how to use his own computer?). There was a table available in any case. The noise level was "energetic" as it is very open and with the number of diners at the max, it was fairly loud. The food menu choices were somewhat limited to the usual fare but the preparation was quick and the results were tasty. The wait staff service was very good (at least ours). Very attentive but no push to flip the table - again, very good. Overall, I would recommend The Lobby for Brunch for a great locale in the neighborhood, decent food, great Mimosa, and good wait staff service (but they should not lose reservations!)

After seeing the reviews on OpenTable and hearing good things from some friends, I was excited about going here for my birthday dinner. We had a good sized group of 11 people and made a reservation. I am sad to say that I was not informed they had a very limited menu for Saturday due to St. Patty's Day. The main reason I chose this restaurant was because of the menu options I saw online compared to the other places I was looking at. The small amount of menu items they had available were very good. The waiter did take away from the experience by not being very attentive and asking for payment options at a weird time in the meal. All in all, great food but they need to work on letting diners know of special event menus upon reservation.

The Lobby appears to be a bit of a hidden gem. The food was very creative with a lot of interesting and great flavors. We had one dish where the chicken was a bit burnt but overall enjoyed our choices. We were there for restaurant week so I am unsure if what was ordered is on the regular menu. Their patio looks like a fantastic place to enjoy some after work beverages in the summer.

We went to The Lobby on Saturday night. It also happened to be restaurant week. We've eaten here many times and they were off their game. I don't know if it was because of restaurant week, but service was less than expected. We also ate there on NYE and experienced similar service and food delays. It seems they are not prepared to handle nights that are more crowded. Typically we love the food at the Lobby and the service has always been a little hit or miss.

The Lobby is a great restaurant for anyone looking for good food, excellent service, and a chill type of atmosphere. The management is also very accommodating and does what it can to make your requests happen. For example, I was able to make a last minute (day before) change to my reservation that more than doubled our party size. The bar tenders Tim and TJ were very friendly and knowledgeable when recommending what to drink. I will be going here again soon!

I would have not dined there knowing that they had a limited menu. They only had three Choices for each course. When the food was brought out it was VERY Flavorless & they do not offer any type Of condiments on any of the tables. Also the Portions of food where very small. The price of the food didnt match the price of the food. Three dinners three drinks $84 bucks. Not worth it at all. If you like high priced food, small Portions, & Flavorless food then this is your place. Not the spot.

The food was fantastic, but the service was awful. At first I just chalked it up to being a holiday, but they were not that packed and we were still ignored. What should have been an hour and a half meal took well over two and half hours. We also received our food at different times, so 3/4 of the table had their food and the other person(s) were left waiting for several minutes. For desert, there was actually a ten minute gap between when mine versus when my friend's food arrived. No apologies for how slow it was and our server pretty much only checked in once every thirty minutes. This used to be a great place, but the declining quality of service has made it go down hill.

The Service was great; we waited almost 45 minutes for the fourth person in our party and our server was very patient. She was constantly on top of things - making sure our drinks were filled, we had the right utensils, and our plates were cleared in a timely manner. Our appetizer (Artichoke dip) was delicious and the amounts of our entrees were just right. Desserts were a disappointment; apples in the Apple Pie didn't taste cooked, the bottom of our Brownie was really hard, and our PB&J Empanada was well done. I would recommend this place to anyone, but the dessert was definitely a downfall.
