Carpet in restuarant could be cleaner; wine list more progressive for Napa Valley; fresher lettuce for salad. Flavor of food very good; service very good; hospitality very good; outside very scenic.

Nice location watching the sunset. However, interior is dated and needs to be freshened up. Regardless we had a great evening. The appetizers were so-so but the entree (shortribs) was very good - tender and moist. Service was good too.

When I booked the Grill, I thought it would be a deck right on the golf course, not overlooking the carts. Try to move the carts out of the way for a better view for your deck diners. The server, Todd, was excellent -- his personality was engaging and friendly, and his attendance super. It was a nice lunch in between two wine tastings.

High prices, average food, attemtion to detail was non-existant. had to ask for refills on water every single time as well as refills on soda. We were never asked about our meals, I eould have sent back the onion soup had I benn asked. Tfried chicken for $24 was very dry, but the halibut was very good. I would recommend finding someplace else to eat. The waiter was stretched thin, so it really wasn't all his fault.

This was a disaster from the start. 6:45 reservations, seated at 7:10 Called to sit outside, set us up inside. Took an hr to order food. Pairing menu on web site did not match what they were offering. Paired wine arrived after we finished first course. Special was announced as swordfish. When we ordered said it was halibut. Paired wine on the second course was not what was on the menu. Waiter was fluster and just kept walking away when we inquired as to the problems. Manager came over to tell us he was firing everyone. We were there 2 1/2 hrs. They did give us half off the bill, but it was a celebration for us, so that was blown. Will NEVER go back and we're locals.

Understaffed, mediocre food, tired decor,(they should be ashamed of the wrinkled carpeting and dead flowers on the table. The staff is courteous but overwhelmed. I had heard that the new management really stepped up to the plate with the food. I see no change. I was very disappointed to say the least.

Very Disappointing. We knew it would be busy on Mother's Day, but no one could get the high volume on the outdoor patio turned down-all the guests were complaining and all we heard from the staff was excuses and long descriptions about how their Pandora system worked. Only two of the staff were even interested in being helpful about it. The Hostess was very friendly and personable. My beverage came after I had finished my meal.

What a nice place. The view from the Patio was amazing. The staff took great care of us and made a point to thank us for being there. I would eat there everyday. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Grill, we played 26 holes. The Chef, Pablo Jacinto, we have followed him since Mustards and are ready to have the "Specials" again. Thanks Grill. This review, well deserved and overdue. $25/glass '99 Silver Oak, wow! You want to eat well in the Valley for a great price? Go to The Grill and try the Fish Tacos and the Pollo Loco, that is Northern California comfort food. Our waiter was a Gem, can't remember his name, just his smile. Thank you!!

We (6) had dinner after a wonderful day of wine tasting. Let me say the wine was the highlight of the dinner. The food was fair at best. Two had the shrimp special, neither one could eat it. The service was terrible, our server never checked in with us, couldn't get water, bread, and had to pour our wine. i would suggest the hamburger joint in town. I complained when we checked out of the resort, and was told the mgmt changed and they get a lot of mixed reviews on the restaurant.

The food was simply prepared, nothing special. My guests breakfast was on the well done side but acceptable. I had the eggs benedict. The eggs we slightly overcooked and the english muffin a bit soggy. The fruit side dish as excellent, all fresh and it was plentiful. The service was fair, very slow to refill the coffee cup. The setting was clean, large windows gave the room a feeling of spaciousness, else, just an ordinary room.

Made reservation for 6:30, showed up on time and was seated by the window overlooking the golf course. Had the clam chowder which was good for a cold, rainy day. Waiter was very attentive and provided just the right amount of service. Main course was a mexican chicken dish and was a large serving. My wife had salmon and she said it was excellent. It was a very good dining experience. Wine was good and Manhattans from the bar were great. I would recommend this restaurant for a special night out.

I was really excited to try the restaurant at the Silverado Resort. I figured with the other restaurant down for renovations they would focus on the smaller restaurant. I found the menu very limited and the food quality just ok. It's Napa. You expect amazing food for the price. The breakfast was mediocre. Dinner was good but not really good. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs - it didn't look yummy - he wasn't offered parmesan and had to ask for it.

I had read other reviews and was concerned about the service and food but I'm here to tell you our experience was very good. We ate early which was nice because there were only a few dinners, by the time we left the place was busy. Our servers were gracious and very attentive. I watched as they took care of another table with two children. They brought out to them items that were not on the menu, for example a fruit plate and hot chocolate. They were very happy to help us with our choices as well. Food arrived perfect, and wine suggestions were right on. This is a grill, it is casual and in a lovely room. As i looked around, everyone was having an enjoyable time. Full bar, comfortable chairs, good food, and well trained staff.Bravo!

We had both dinner and breakfast at the Silverado Grill. And both times, although the restaurant was not very busy, the food was served cool. Not refrigerator cold, but cool like it had been sitting for awhile. Even the prime rib was only warmish on one end and actually cold at the other end. The wait for the food both times seemed longer than normal. So not sure if a service issue or a kitchen issue. The flavor of the food was great. Menu selection was also very good.

For being part of a resort the service needs some more training. Half the items were cold & the other were hot & delicious. Empty water & bread all night. I understand it was a holiday but that should mean the service should stand out & be excellent! I would know because I am a server in a restaurant at a hotel. I might try The Grill another time to give them a second chance but it's highly unlikely.
