We had a very pleasant experience, the food was excellent. The "modern Mediterranean" was fun to explore. Our waitress was so much fun while still being appropriate. The wine list was impressive enough to offer us something new. We will be going there again.

Great place! Surprisingly authentic and wonderful menu, all dishes well prepared and presented. Wine list was quite nice, with a wide price range and very reasonable value; bar looked elegant! Well worth the trip to Cape Ann!

Most Greek restaurants rise to a "family restuarant" level, Ithaki is the exception. Pleasant, surroundings friendly and good service and a welcome "casual elegant" atmosphere. The food was beatifully presented with some interesting taste combinations. We'll be back.

Everything was great, the service, food and drinks were all very good and we enjoyed our meal. The menu is mediteranean but not overly so but with a nice twist. You can walk in, look at the menu and feel comfortable about the choices without it being to eclectic.

  • Ithaki is a great local spot
    OpenTable Diner Since 2005

Ithaki is a great local spot with food that never disappoints. The menu is ecletic but also has a few more simple dishes for the less adventurous. Our table was ready over a half hour after our reservation, but we were able to have a couple of drinks in teh bar which was crowded with very little room to stand as most bar seats were taken by people who were eating dinner at the bar. It is a fun spot with great food.

I hadn't been to Ithaki for years and was most pleased after our recent return. They have updated the bar and dining areas but the real bonus was the menu and the service. Our waitress was most attentive and we had a fun banter with her throughout the meal. All members of our party (5) raved about their meals ranging from lamb, pork, moussaka and pasta. The grape leaves, mussels and tsatiki appetizers were also very yummy. We will definitely be back! We were there to catch up with friends so there was no rush. It is a leisurely-paced dining experience. If you are looking for a "quick meal", I suggest eating at the bar.

Great food, although the renovations make it somewhat crowded in that you walk in to hostess stand and bar and entrance to kitchen and dining area all in the same traffic space. Will go again but will ask for table away from the entrance.

  • Our reservations got us seated
    OpenTable Diner Since 2010

Our reservations got us seated promptly on a Friday night. Our waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The wine was promptly served followed then by the appertizer. Then we waited. Our server apoligised several times for the delay and said they were unusually busy but there were several empty tables. The new bar was rather crowded and it seemed they were paying more attention to the bar crowd than those of us seated for dinner. My wife had the proscuitto encrusted haddock and it tasted fishy and frozen. I had the rack of lamb(med. rare) and I found it a bit on the tough side. The creme brulee desert was milky and the sugar crust was burned. We found the food below the past level of quality. For the price - $126.00 for 2, we were a bit disapoi
