We arrived around 5:15 and neither the valet service or the hostess where in there stations ready to go. We waited in the lobby 5 minutes before we where acknowleged by anyone. Our server lacked confidence and seemed awkward when presenting food and reseting silverware. A single dinner roll was served by the server with a par of tongs and a tiny pat of butter on a bread plate. This felt like the restaurant was trying to control cost by not letting the customer eat more than one dinner roll. They need to get some better bread and put it in a bread basket. The remainder of the meal was nice. The soup was good, along with the entree and dessert. Overall the food was enjoyable, but the service need improving.

Our meal was excellent and the service excellent as well. Our waiter was well informed about the menu and the wine list. He provided good service without hanging over us. This is the second time I've been to the restaurant; the food was even better this time. Would certainly visit again and recommend to friends.

  • We found the Pacific Grill
    OpenTable Diner Since 2006
    Dined on 5/17/2008
We found the Pacific Grill to be snooty but frendly, did not care for the waitress cleaning my table, picking up the sweet-n-low packages for our Ice tea, we felt embarresed, and rushed. They were too matter of fact. The reservations went great, they parked our car as stated, the $10.00 Valet fee was added to our dinner bill so we had to pay tax on it also. Food was great, but I would put the experence of maybe next time I have a lot of mony to spend, way over priced for the whole experience.

I have been a regular at Pacific Grill for the past year. This was the first time I ever tried one of their brunches and it was wonderful. The staff was very attentative. I have meet Chef Aaron once before and got to know him. What a talent! Kudos to the whole staff from the pastry chefs to the sous chef and the entire back of the house. The only thing that was missing was Chef Gordon since he was on vacation. I will definatly be back for another brunch. Pegsterdtown

Our first visit and dinner meals at Pacific Grill were scrumptious; yum-yum to the Weathervane Scallops and King Salmon. The waiter was a delight. He made sure that we and those at other nearby tables felt like his number one priority. Thanks for the enjoyable dinner Gordon and staff. We'll be back. A former elementary school peer.

Very expensive and the tip is included in the tab. The server will asks you if you want soup or salad with your meal but does not inform that it will be charged as a separate dish and does not come with the meal. The dining setting was fair, the utensils are placed bare on the tables and our dishes were a tiny bit dusty/dirty. Our server was a bit rude and not very friendly. Bathroom was dim and not clean. However, the highlight of the night was the New York steak and the mushrooms which were absolutely delicious.

I was very disappointed in the main course. My $40.00 steak was so overseasoned that it was almost not fit to eat. The service was ok, and if the restaurant was in our home area, I would not go back. Also when I tried to change the time, the restaurant implyed it was very busy, however the reality was that it was half full. I think they might have a staffing problem. I gave the food a fair as the salad was good as was the vegetable and my potato. The sauce for the steak was poor and overseasoned also.

My girlfriend and I went here last Thursday night at 8 and were pleasantly greeted and taken right to our table. It was the first time we have been to Pacific Grill, so our knowledge of the food was very slim, but Michael, our waiter, was more than helpful with helping us find what we were going to have that evening. We started off the meal with roasted shrimp salad that is enough reason to go back! I ended up having the rack of lamb which was the most tender that I have ever had and my girlfriend had the broken lasagna and said the flavor was excellent. We wrapped up the meal with a brownie sunday and were also impressed by that. Overall, the evening was very special and memorable.

  • We ate dinner at the Pacific
    OpenTable Diner Since 2006
    Dined on 4/5/2008
We ate dinner at the Pacific Grill in April 2008, and were disappointed. The food was good, and the portions were reasonably sized, but not worth the $100 price tag for dinner for two of two entres, a salad and a soda. No alcohol, appetizers, or dessert. The worst part of our experience was the service. It was a Saturday evening, but the restaurant was relatively empty. In spite of that fact, there were several times we had to ask someone else to find our waitress for more water or soda. I don't mind paying for good food, but expect that the price includes a higher quality of service than can be found at Red Robin.

The building and decor are lovely and very comfortable. I was disappointed in the food. My BLT bacon was cold and seemed to have been cooked hours earlier. The french fries also were cold and soggy -- also must have been cooked some hours before. I hope the food improves because the service is very nice and it is a lovely spot for lunch. I will return but if the food is as disappointing as it was Friday I will not be back. Please work on that! I want this place to do well!
