A word from Bricco
Bricco’s star has been rising steadily since restaurateur Frank DePasquale revamped the menu to feature modern interpretations of regional Italian dishes.

Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.

The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.

Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with a full dinner menu.
Open 7 days a week 11:oopm – 2:00 a.m.

They are trying *Way* too hard. This was just an overpriced disappointment! We returned for my daughter's 21st birthday for what turned out to be a major bust. We have traveled over the world, and my kids have a "favorite Gnocchi" list. Bricco was on top until this dinner. It sank to the bottom. We won't be returning. Ugh

They really do pack people in at Bricco. If you're not on the trim side, you may experience some discomfort trying to squeeze by other diners on your way into your small table. The restaurant is quite loud; between the noise and our server's accent, we couldn't understand the kitchen's specials for the evening. That said, the service, food and wine were all excellent. We will return!

Outstanding! No effort was spared to show me an enjoyable dinner. "Bricco" called me to ask how I wanted flowers presented to my date. When I arrived I was given a corner window seat without having to ask for special treatment. The wait staff was attentive and the food was superb! First class all the way. It was a special evening for me and "Bricco" left a lasting impression!

Great meal, great section of Beantown, a $15 cab ride from Fenway, and the kind of restaurant that seems to hold themselves accountable for presenting nothing but a perfect dining experience for every patron who walks through the door. I've been twice in the past year, and both times have been a great experience. And a big plus is the fact that it is walking distance to Mike's right up the street for the best damn cannoli you will ever have.

Bricco was a nice experience. My guests were pleased with the quality and taste of their food, and although we waited 30 minutes before our table became free the hostess and bartender were very attentive taking care to make sure we were not forgotten. I've dined here before and the food has always been good, but the night I was there it was extra loud with a large table of diners who were all yelling. We didn't mind too much and they did apologize when they were leaving. The upstairs dining area is nice and I think would be quieter. Request if its open when you go.

For a place that had so many high marks, we were surprised to get cold (we thought it had just been thawed from the freezer, although they said "never") bread. The 10 small ricotta raviolli's at $19 were a bit pricey but very tasty. Chicken could of been cooked more on the outside (under-cooked skin)with a bit more of the "smashed" potato on the side for the price of $29. Last but not least, they should have more red wines under $41. We settled for a glass @$10 and sipped. I'm just comparing this restaurant (and prices) to my step-daughters wine bar/Urban Trattoria in a similar place (but in San Rafael California). These prices were $5-12 higher for similar items.I guess if they can command it, good for them.

The experience was memorable from start to finish. We had a window table, which I love. The manager, Ron, was very welcoming. Our waitress suggested a wonderful wine, of which we had two bottles. She was very attentive without making us feel rushed. And the food, from appetizers to desserts, was definitely five star. We will return.
