We went for 5280 dining and had a wonderful evening. The food was exceptional, although portions were quite small. We also did a flight of champagne, and I would suggest getting it by the glass or bottle. It arrived a bit warm, and lost a bit of it's bubbly! Service was great. It was a treat.

I went here for a girls night out with my best friend. We absolutely love it! Great food, excellent service. The champagne cocktails were great! Great place to get dressed up for a date or a night with the girls.

The food was fine but we left feeling hungry. The waitress started out giving good service but then eventually came back every 30 min to present our dessert options and then another 30 minutes later to bring our check.

Food and character of the restaurant were great. Drinks suberb. Only draw back was the portion size of 'large plates'. We left the restaurant hungry.

The restaurant's chandeliers needs a thorough cleaning and that was a little off-putting - huge dust bunnies and cobwebs. Wonderful kir royale though and terrrific champagne. The food was very well prepared.

My husband and I came here for restaurant week. It was our first time here and we were not disappointed. Everything was delicious. Our dessert of chocolate fondue with strawberries, bananas, and sugar cookies did leave a little to be desired. It would have been better with maybe more than 2 cookies or a little something else to dip. Don't miss the scallops or the smoked salmon caviar potato chips!

We were generally impressed with the food. The seared scallops and curry mussels were exceptional. The filet mignon and mashed potatoes weren't anything out of the ordinary -- a bit disappointing.

  • The ambiance is the best part
    OpenTable Diner Since 2010

The ambiance is the best part of the experience, as well as the elegant presentation of the flight of champage. We dined from the 5280 menu which was very good as far as the choices offered. The appetizers were fairly large portions and tasty, but not exceptional. For entrees, the scallops were great. The steak was unimpressive, but good. For foodies, I would mostly recommend this as an apres theater choice or for drinks prior to show.

A restaruant tucked in a champagne bar. Apps and entree was excellent. Dessert was meh. For 5280, you'd think that they could throw in the extra dessert instead of splitting one.

  • We went for Denver's 5280
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 2/23/2010
We went for Denver's 5280 Restaurant week, so their menu was priced and offered differently than they would normally. We suspect it is otherwise slightly overpriced, but the food is solidly enjoyable. They are a champagne bar and while they have a large selection of wines, their specialty is of course champagne, of which they offer tasting flights to accompany your meal. It is a very small restaurant with perhaps only a dozen tables if that. It has a lovely central bar with counter for those who decide to drop in, otherwise a reservation is recommended. The decor is something like a kitschy 1920's movie set of Imperial France, making it whimsically romantic -- a vibe that is fitting for the idea of a champagne bar.

Food was excellent and creative. Fresh ingredients, well-presented, very inventive. Service was exceptional! Attentive without being invasive. Timing with kitchen was spot-on; not rushed, not slow. A near-perfect experience. Champagne pricing remains a little aggressive (mark-up is more than 2x, approaching 3x on some), but it seems slightly more reasonable than our last visit. Per glass prices? Don't even get me started. But shame on you if you can't knock off a full bottle with your companion! Corridor 44 either needs a better deal with their wine distributor, or to shrink margins, because more competitive pricing would bring me back more often, considering how good the food and service tend to be.

So happy to have chosen Corridor 44 as one of our Denver Restaurant Week choices. The food was outstanding, the service excellent and the ambiance lovely. Truly, the only "complaint" (and certainly not much of one!) is that the booth-- third in from the door, in front of the bar-- was a bit snug for four. This was our first visit and we will definitely return-- soon!

Arrived on a Thursday night and spent $150 on champagne and wine for 2. Ordered the meat/pate platter which came with 2 very small pieces of bread for the meats and pate. Asked for more and was told we would be charged for BREAD!! Not very socially responsible to bring folks in, charge healthy prices for booze, get them fairly intoxicated on wine and champagne and then charge for bread. Get with it, folks!!! Who are you kidding?
