First time here, we went on a Saturday night. What we were looking for was a place to eat and dance (Bar and DJ upstairs). For some reason the restaurant never filled and the bar upstairs was SUPER dead. The DJ was great and he played some really good music from all over the charts. Seems the few people upstairs really enjoyed what he was playing. Chris was our waiter and he did a really great job, and the food was pretty good as well. Having lived in New Orleans for 3 years, the food was pretty good but lacked the NOLA spark. Serve some Live Craw-fish in a real boil and then you will have something! Next time we go I am hoping for a more "Vibrant Bar Scene" so we can partake of some dancing. (we danced to a few slow beats tho

Service was slow. We waited 4 min. at the table without an acknowledgement. Eventually our waitress made it to the table to ask what we wanted to drink. We we were ready to order our drinks, apps & main course, but she said she'd be back for the food order. About 5 minutes later, she returned to say that they were backed up at the bar, sorry it is taking so long". I walked to the bar area saw 3 people at the bar & one couple at a table, & the bartender busy talking to one of the customers, it certainly did not look like they were backed up. Finally ordered the food- so so, gumbo should have loads of N'awlins flavors- bland. Sad part is that the hush puppies were the best part of the meal

It was just the forth day open for lunch. The menu had great choices and the food was great. We loved the fresh hush puppies. I wish this restaurant had more of an identity. It had the nice table cloths and napkins but I did not get the feel for the Cajun south.

This Creole/Cajun restaurant was reasonably busy and the bar was packed with Saints’ fans on this evening because New Orleans was playing on Monday night football. Our waiter took our orders and returned shortly with a basket of hot hush puppies that made me want to howl in happiness. I started off with a bowl of seafood gumbo while Ann ordered a ½ dozen oysters. For a main course Ann selected the crawfish etouffee served with rice. I did her one better by ordering the Atchafalaya Crawfish Delight – blackened catfish over Cajun rice covered with crawfish etouffee. Combined with the seafood gumbo, my dinner was a little too much of a good thing

We came here for my birthday. The clam chowder was the best,But THAT WAS IT. NOTHING else was good, it was ALL over cooked, undercooked or drowning in something WOULD NOT COME HERE AGAIN. The beer was even awful. The waiter did NOT pay attention,to us or the way we all ordered.Things came with items we had asked to take off, things we ordered we didnt get. We were always trying to find our waiter, but he was way to BUSY flirting with the girl on the other side of the room..It was a horrible experience and we would not recommend this place to anyone nor would we return. THE prices are WAY OVER PRICED for what you get and what it tastes like.We ordered $3 coffees'and couldnt even get refills. There is so much more to say but Im out of space.

This restaurant offers live music, which unfortunately is located at the bar upstairs which makes dining and watching the band very confusing as you have a minimum to pay for dinner upstairs plus the band's fee...easier to eat downstairs and listen from there for free. The food and service, however, are great. Okra, hush puppies, blackened catfish - the works!

I had not been happy with the pricey but not great quality food in some places on the Strip not to mention being crowded. I decided to take a chance and look for something away from the Strip. AWESOME decision. You will have to take a car or taxi but it is well worth it. Make sure you look up or call for directions before getting into the cab. This is well worth the trip off the Strip!! Food selection and taste were great. Drinks were even better. The service was great and you could really relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Rhythm Kitchen Seafood and Steaks. The food was prepared well and had an excellent presentation. The wine menu was interesting. I ordered a flight of wine and the waiter brought three different wines (three wine glasses) which included merlot, cabernet, and red zin. The bread pudding with bourbon sauce was excellent. We are looking forward to returning to this restaurant the next time we are in Las Vegas.

The family and I went here last Friday night and happy to report I am so glad we ignored most of the reviews about slow service, which almost caused us not to try this delicious secret gem of a restaurant. We had the friendliest servers who waited on us hand and foot, even though towards the end of our meal when the restaurant was full. The food was beyond delicious as well and would have received a five except the baked potatoes were over cooked. The steaks and sides were amazing as well as our appetizers. Hubby was not a fan of the seasoning used on his prime rib but that was a personal taste issue - the prime rib was still perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back!

The service was slow and a bit forgetful in the beginning, but they appeared to be very short-staffed that night so we let it slide. The food was enough to make up for it, as well as a specialty drink called the Jazz City Tea (amazing!! sweet tea vodka & lemonade). We'd definitely go back, especially since there really aren't any New Orleans-style restaurants here anymore.

The food is fantastic and the happy hour special can't be beat. That said, EVERY TIME I go to RK, I am overcharged, the service is slooooooooooow (even if the restaurant is empty), and they often forget orders, mix up guest checks, etc. The ambiance is a strange mix of nice, open restaurant, John Mayer re-run music videos, and salsa music coming from the second floor. Very bizarre. Watch your bill and make sure a) it's yours, b) everything is entered correctly (prices magically inflate compared to the menu), and c) expect your order to be wrong/late. My pizza took an hour last week, and a friend's shrimp never came this week. (They ran out of shrimp, and after 30 mins just said -- "We took it off your bill" as though it were a favor

This restaruant was not what I expected. The food was average, nothing to get excited about and was a bit pricy. It was advertised that the full menu was available on Father's Day but we were not allowed to order from the full menu. We asked the waitress if there was a story behind the restaurant as it appears to be something from the South, she had no clue. Didn't even paly if off. The inside was decorated to look fancy but had a casual feel, not a southern feel as the outside. Overall, we have an enjoyable time and may go back to try the alligator tails (had the frog legs).

I think this deserves 3.5 stars & maybe more esp since I'm not a fan of fried food so I didn't try any. That may be a mortal sin at this place but they still offer prime rib which I had medium rare with asparagus & spinach. My hubs had the ribs with a dinner salad & side mushrooms. Surprisingly, we went in at 5pm & the lot was full & it was essentially crowded due to (probably) the east coasters eating early since it's really 8 pm for them. By 6pm, some were done & had left & even more couples were arriving for dinner. I think we'll be back since Herb, our waiter had even mentioned that happy hour is 2-7 with 1/2 price drinks & apps so how could you go wrong?

Not a big oyster eater but the grilled oysters were great and spicy. I had the scallop & sausage skewers. Scallops were just ok nothing great or flavorful. Biggest disappointment of the night was the service. Appeared to be only two waiters working and noticed everyone in the dining area received our food at same time. Even people who showed up 20 mins after my group of four. Unsure if this was a typical night or just a bad night.

Dishes like Crawfish Etoufee, Blackened Catfish and Cajun Scallops are fresh, very well spiced / seasoned, and all kinds of yummy.
