We went to Roy's for a special birthday celebration and they really made the celebration special. They took a table side photo and presented it framed to us at the end of the meal. Everything we tasted was absolutely fabulous and we will definitely add Roy's to our eating out rotation.

Roy's is by far our favorite restaurant. The food is incredible, but what sets this restaurant apart is the service. I have never had better service at any other restaurant. And it is consistent every time we go there.

Roy's has traditionally been one of our favorite restaurants in town. However, our last experience was less than ideal. the food was just OK. The wine list was good, not exceptional. I am hoping our latest experience was just a one off and not an indicator of things to come. Our waitor, Victor, was very helpful; knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection.

We found the food to be good. The Sushi to be very good, but the dressing on the Walnut salad was overpowering. Our main course was cooked well, although I did not understand why there were three garnish sauces on the Butterfish dish. The chocolate souffle was very good. although we had to wait over ten minutes before it was served.

We always love Roy's - the fish cannot be beat anywhere in Dallas. The waiter was a little cocky but he warmed up after awhile. I know restaurant week must be stressful on the staff, but they need to remember that we are making a decision on whether or not to come back. All the food and cocktails were exceptional!

The food flavoring and pairings are so exciting. I have not tasted such a variety of exotic flavors. Each course was new and inviting. The service was outstanding. I seated in a timely manner and each course was presented immediately after I finished the previous. I do recommend having a designated driver if you plan on drinking. The drinks are good and strong. A great find in Plano.

I LOVE Roy's and have wonderful memories of eating there, but my dinner at Plano/Roy's last week was a huge disappointment to me. We have always considered Roy's a very "special/upscale" place to dine, but this time, I felt as if we were eating at a diner. The food was delicious, the service was great, but the noise, the constant movement around us, the mis-matched music, plus the overly-casual attire of patrons/hostesses, were such a disappointment to me. Shouldn't the music be gentle w/an emphasis on Hawaiian? I really missed the Plano Roy's from before and there was definitely no comparison to the restaurant in Kona, HA where I first experienced Roy's.

As always it was great. We used open table to make the reservation and noted that it was our 10th anniversary. Every employee that helped us extended their congratulations and the service was great. I never had anything but the Macadamia nut crusted Mahi Mahi...but I tried the Butterfish. Wow... And of course......the chocolate soufflé. I was seriously considering licking the plate before the waiter took it away.

I have never been disappointed at Roy's. Consistency is good and they seem to train their staff really well. There's a sense of purpose to the service that enhances the dining experience while food remains consistently good with interesting flavor combinations and a variety of ingredient choices. The Summer special menu for $35 is a great way to control the dining out expense and at the same time knowing you'll get a great, well thought through and balanced dining experience.

Went on a Thursday an surprised to see it was very busy. They seemed understaffed for the night as our waiter was working quite a few tables but managed to do a fairly good job despite all the running around. Started off with the pot stickers and Mai Tais. Mai tai had a little too much dark rum for my taste. I had the butter and fish and my guest had the swordfish both were quite good. The best part is the pineapple turnover, one of the reasons we go there. I had asked for an amaretto with dessert, but forgot to bring it. He brought it up as dessert was finished but I passed. Will go back again.
