The food was very good. I would not recommend the bone in filet mignon if it is available. At $53 it was not worth the price. The other steak offerings were GREAT! Wedge salad a classic favorite was delicious. Very attentive service! Definitely will be back.

Book through opentable, note on opentable we are celebrating a birthday. The host should have made this aware to our served. The should not have to ask, if we were celebrating. The Veal Osco Bucco was tasteless and fatty was return and replaced with the Cioppino was average, my wife had order this at other restaurants, she said "had better" and the prime rib was ok a little rubberly, had better. The chipotle mac n cheese, was served piling hot, was the star of evening. The creme brulee was not creamy, the custard also turned to scrambled egg and topping of sugar didn't have the snap. The chocolate cheese cake, was good. The FOH management team, was very attentive, understanding and professional. Culinary team needs work.

The prices are a bit on the higher end, but the food is tasty. The atmosphere is energetic and noisy so it is not a quiet place to dine at night. The downside is that there is a feeling of being rushed in and out.

Service was great, and the food was excellent. Very good ambiance, especially for a Monday night. Stayed there for several hours enjoying the company and the presentation of the food. The only concern (as a foodie) was the risotto. Not the typical creamy, soft risotto, but a crunchy unevenly cooked risotto. Even after asking for a 'do-over' side of the risotto, it came sans sauce, so it looked like as if it was scraped off the bottom of the pan/pot. Still, it had a lot of flavor. Everything else was delicious from the appetizer to the entree and ending with four different kinds of desserts, which we all shared!

The food was very salty and the rib sandwich which I ordered to take out was missing the cole slaw. The fish and chips were excellent and the filet mignon was ok. The potatoes were very salty though I asked for no salt or very little salt as I have high blood pressure, the waiter forgot to tell the kitchen. They did replace the potatoes but served too late for the entree. The manager did come by the table twice to make sure all was ok. The waiter was apologetic for his error and was courteous.

We discovered Flemings because of a gift card sent to us. It was a charming restaurant, but we felt that it was over-priced (even w/the gift card!). Prices are not posted on their website, another red flag. Service and atmosphere, and accessible parking were great. Unfortunately, the price issue would be a factor in limiting any trips to downtown L.A. to dine there.

First time at this Flemings was pretty "fair". Had private room that may actually have been a detriment (automatic 20% gratuity so they didn't have to work for it). Tough getting waiter attention. Side dishes not hot and "petite filet" was smaller than a droid cell phone ($30.00 ala carte) and overdone. Waiter offerred free dessert to compensate but it showed up on bill ($11.00) Restaurant was not full, service should have been excellent. All in all, didn't match up to other Flemings or top steakhouses. Too many other choices in the area, not likely to return.

This was our first experience at Fleming's. Some items were very good - like the filet mignon. The prime rib was only "good" though it was a good deal for the price. The side dishes were large enough to share as a group - very tasty. Our servers were attentive and personable, though a bit on the slow side. If you're not in a rush this is a good place to enjoy your meal in a relaxed environment. The best was bringing home a box of truffles for our birthday guest.

They anticipate your needs so you don't even have to look for a refill; they simply arrive with the refill before you even have to look for them. Location (Downtown LA) was a find as the LA Live area was a nice place to browse around before and after the meal. Truly, this is a dining EXPERIENCE!

Always enjoy this particular Flemings. Have visited several of them over the past few years, from San Diego (opening night and the following evening), Woodland Hills (too noisy), Palm Desert and were thrilled when Downtown Los Angeles opened. Love the new smaller beef servings. Adore the shoestrings and onions and as for the mac and cheese and the wedge with blue cheese!!!! All amazingly calorific but perfect for once every now and then. Seafood always impeccably treated and delicious. Love the three tier wine tastes. A terrific concept. Servers are friendly, extremely efficient making the whole experience a lot of fun, as it should be. Thanks Flemings.

The service at Fleming's was outstanding. We were there for our anniversary, and everyone made it a point to congratulate us. The food was excellent. My husband loved his filet mignon, and the chipotle mac n cheese was the best mac n cheese I've ever had in my life! The sides were large enough for sharing, and the cocktails were tasty. I would definitely take out-of-town guests here to enjoy the new L.A. Live area, and will make it a point to head back for a birthday or other special occasion.

We made reservations at Flemings to celebrate my birthday and our friends' anniversary. Our party of four arrived and was seated promptly. We wanted a booth (makes for cozier dining), and our hostess was able to accommodate our request. Our waitress, Breanne, was super friendly and attentive to our every need. The assistant wait staff were also great in taking away empty plates and refilling our water glass. Our group ordered steaks and chicken which were tasty and grilled to perfection. We ordered sides to go with them and were also very good, especially the Fleming's Potatoes! Breanne knew that we were celebrating special occasions and she brought 2 desserts for us for free! Had a great time was had by all and we will be back soon!

I used to eat at Fleming's in La Jolla when I lived in San Diego, and miss not having one close in Northern California. I was in LA for a convention and immediately decided to eat lunch here and wasn't disappointed! Got the filet (which was cooked to perfection) but swapped out the creamed spinach for a side of chipotle mac n cheese that had nice big chunks of bacon. Had the cheesecake for dessert. One of the better lunches I've had in a while.

She gave us plenty of space as we were engaged in heavy conversation and she was there at all the right times. Important to note, she thanked us for using Open Table by comping desert.
