Very friendly place with good food and wine. Around the corner from BAM's Harvey Theatre. We went following a performance and the actors graced the restaurant by their presence.

The brunch was good- I ordered an omelette, so it could have been anywhere. The portions are on the small side as well. I would come back here for dinner as I imagine that is their strength.

Wonderful...has definitely become a regular with me and the family. I was impressed that the manager remembered that my husband likes to take food home with him.

The food was delicious and well prepared-the veal lasagne I had was delicately flavored and not at all dense or heavy. The staff were friendly and attentive-helpful because we had to be at BAM by 8pm

I absolutely adored this place and will definitely return again. With a party of 4 adults and 1 5 yr old - The service was terrific and the food was wonderful, even for my little one! Come with an appetite.

I don't hand 5 stars easily. I was totally blown away by the service and the excellent food here. I never would have imagined I was in for such a treat. It was so good I could not even finish my meal. I was completely satiated half way through and happily took the rest home. This is a short walk from BAM so if you are looking for an amazing spot for a wonderful dining experience before or after your dose of cultural entertainment this is the place. And the owner is not only dashingly handsome but equally engaging. He understands the concept of hospitality. One suggestion to the owner: you can tell the waiters and bus boys they don't have to refill the water after every sip taken. That was a bit over the top. But still, overall, outstanding!

wonderful food from the freshly-made foccacia with tomato flan to the cappuccino. The best ricotta cheesecake I have ever tasted. The waiter made a mistake with our order and gave us a free dessert. Wonderful atmosphere - great open kitchen.

This is a small, crowded joyful place. The staff couldn't be nicer, and the food is terrific, for a reasonable price. A great place for pre or post BAM. The budino di spinaci is a thing of beauty, and the pasta's are excellent. The desserts are very nice without being too rich. Reasonable wine list as well. Once the weather turns warm, check out the garden.

It was nice to find really good, authentic Sicilian style Italian food, "imported" from Bensonhurst, in this neighborhood. We went pre-movie at BAM (Scorsese as it turns out, how fitting.)

We have been here twice in the last two weeks. It is great for going to BAM. The food is great and the service is terrific. It is not an unknown place, so I would not hesitate to make a reservation. I highly recommend eating here for good solid home cooked Italian.

Excellent homemade pasta and easy on the wallet. Just a couple blocks from BAM so it gets the post show rush many nights and can be crowded. But this is a great dining choice for the neighborhood and I look forward to exploring the menu more.
