   Had a good time for my Father’s 80th bday, but a few messy moments. My husband’s chicken pesto sandwich arrived without chicken and two other table’s bills were added to ours for a $1000 overcharge. After two attempts to give us this bill, they recognized their error, but took 30minutes to sort it out when we needed to leave. Overall it was a fun afternoon, but a bit of a disappointing ending.

   It was our first time at the Woodbine Club and we will be back. There were 4 of us, and we got seated at a 6 person table which was wonderful, because we needed the room to spread out because we were exchanging Christmas gifts. It was wonderful for us to be able to gab, eat, drink, exchange gifts, bet on the horseys and spend the entire afternoon into the evening there. The ambience was great, the food delicious, AND we will be back!!

   I booked the table in September for a November lunch. They ignored my request for a window seat. They made lame excuses instead of owing the mistake. The manager was useless and really could care less. Learned we book ahead of all other reservations too! I suggest you not trust what they say. They lack integrity.

   It was great to celebrate our son’s 19th birthday. Beautiful day for the races and our server was attentive and kind. The food was good, not sure it was a match for the prices but I suppose you are paying for ambience.

   The Woodbine Club should be embarased with last nights dinner. 1) the fountain drinks were horrible. 2) the burgers were too well done and dried out. 3) How does a restaurant NOT have mustard when you serve burgers???? 4) some $12 desserts were not very good .

    The made us feel very welcome. Our server was very helpful and recommended some wonderful food. The booze was good and the service was better. Recommend!
