We ate dinner at the Artisan twice during our stay at Snowmass. The first time, our meal was very good. The service was very slow.

I ski with people who like good food and wine and we found both at The Artisan. The appetizers and bar menu are an interesting mix with a slight Asian bias. The main courses (I tasted everyone's)are very good and easily shared. Be sure to have the cannolis for dessert - the new pastry chef makes very tempting treats.

Food and service were outstanding -- order was accurate, flavors great, excellent variety, great kids menu. Doc Eason was similarly outstanding - we really enjoyed his performance and he was appropriate for the kids. It was a little loud and difficult to converse at the table without raising your voice.

Dinner was good and well served. Comfortable after a day of skiing. Good wine list with several less expensive selections. Would return

We had a large group with several kids. They tucked us in a wonderful corner where we were comfortable. The food was really good.
