The gyoza was cooked to perfection as was the grilled asparagus. The sleek interior with fantastic views of the San Francisco skyline and the Bay make it a destination dining experience.

Creative sushi - dare I say on par with Sushi Ran? Excellent "other" food (other than sushi) as well! Wine list is worthless. Bring your own Gewurtz!

Had a delightful evening at Ginza Sushi. Our special reservation request was honored. The food was tasty, from soup to nuts. Started with a very fresh Agedofu; followed by the Shrimp Tempura special roll, with avocado, snow crab, jalapeno and tobiko. The hamachi sashimi was fresh, though not brimming with flavor. The Sashimi Poke was a delicious combination with mango added for just a bit of punch. My partner insisted upon a red wine; the merlot was welcome. Our waiter was patient, conscientious and helpful.

The special sushis are worth the journey. The shrimp tenpura roll and the garden roll are scrumptious. All this in the picture perfect romantic backdrop of San Francisco.

  • We went on a rainy Friday

We went on a rainy Friday night when it was not busy. Service was attentive. Ginza is a nice addition to the Tiburon options. Good sushi that that is more on the specialy roll type. The tempura bar has some interesting items. It is the kind of place where everyone can get what they want - so perfect for bringing non-sushi eaters.

The sushi chef makes you feel special. In talking with him, he specialized his sushi rolls just for me!!! The scallop and salmon roll was exquisite! All this and incredible San Francisco views...what more can one ask for?

The maki rolls were fantastic as were the delicate vegetable tempura. We sat outside next to the water with San Francisco in the background. With daylight savings this is the place to eat alfresco.

We were impressed with the Sushi Chef's surprise creations. Delicious and artistic. The tenpura delicacies were light and flavorful. Will definitely go back if not for the fantastic San Francisco view alone.

  • Nice sushi restaurant in Tiburon.

Nice sushi restaurant in Tiburon. A good place to take a date. I was disappointed in the service; it was slow. Variety of sushi to choose from including some tasty vegetarian options (I'm not a vegetarian and usually don't choose vegetarian options but I enjoyed the ones I tried).

Having a TV on in the main dining room really kills the atmosphere. Or perhaps I should say sets an atmosphere that I prefer not to experience when dining out. We won't be back.

Our salmon sushi roll, garden roll, and New York roll were outstanding. The vegetable tempura was light and tasty. Add to this an incredible romantic view of San Francisco and you have the ingredients for the perfect enchanting dinner. Perhaps Valentine's Day!!!

The edamame were cooked to perfection. The 49er salmon roll, the shrimp tempura roll and the garden roll looked artistic and tasted exquisitely fresh. The vegetable tempura were light and delicious. Add to this scene attentive service, a view of the San Francisco skyline and the historic Corinthian Yacht Club, and reasonable prices...what more can one ask for? Ginza is definitely a destination dining venue.
