Great food. Service was attentive at first. As the restaurant became busy, wait staff was overwhelmed. Too a very long time to get a beverage refill. Nice redecorating job, although the lighting was very low. It was difficult to read the menu due to the darkness. Air conditioner was too cold.

Delicious! From the outside, it's extremely unpretentious, tucked into its neighborhood. You'll almost definitely pass it the first time, and parking may be challenging. But that's because those who didn't walk over are all inside. Very vibrant scene. Outstanding food that's both imaginative and satisfying. I especially loved the arugula, hazelnut and strawberry salad. Great waitstaff. Every neighborhood should have one. A tad loud, but this is a complete delight.

I've had the burger here and it's amazing. I thought I'd venture out and try something else. I ordered the special, which, when I asked the server to tell me more, she said, "I don't know, I just got here." And that was the end of it. That should have been clue #1 to stay away. The service on a Tuesday night was horrendous (the worst I've ever had), and my meal was basically inedible. The fish had zero flavor, the buckwheat pasta looked like grubs (completely unappetizing) and the seaweed on the plate was overcooked and bland. Overall, great atmosphere--just stick to the burger and the mule!

Great food: Fresh ingredients prepared with care and excellence. We had the burger (top notch patty, great fries and dip), sampler plate, octopus (never had octopus so tender before!), and many other great dishes. Great drinks: Unique and delicious. Innovative twists on classic drinks like Moscow mule or bourbon and ginger bring these oldies but goodies to great new heights!

Service overall was fine, but our waiter was not the best. Maybe a bit inexperienced?? Food was great. The music was too loud. Not enough people too warrant extra loud sound-track. I do like this spot.

The ambiance is fantastic with an open patio, decor that feels like a very classy bar from the 70's (but not in a dive-sort of way), and a lot of energy. The food is fitting for any foodie with great taste as they offer delicious versions of old favorites like baked macaroni and cheese or a kobe beef burger as well as new tasties that I have not tried before. This place is no secret though - so be sure to make reservations if you would like to get a table and eat!

The place is decorated so eclectically! I'm not sure exactly what the juxtaposition of crystal chandelier, white formica bar, slate walls and black leather banquettes means to a decorator, but to me it exudes style and confidence. The menu is small (there are actually more different cocktails than food choices) but well thought-out. I've eaten here a few times, but when in doubt, I get the Jidori chicken, which is so moist and flavorful; you'll never think about chicken the same way again. The waitpeople are all interesting-looking; do you have to have an exotic hairstyle to work here? In any case, I love coming here to eat, and I love introducing friends to this find of a place.

Great scene. I went there for the atmosphere and was not disappointed. Had the curry dish and fish of the day (halibut) for an entree, and the lemon tart for desert. The dishes were tasty, though when delivered they were not "piping hot." I think this took away from my rating of the food- as food tastes best delivered hot- for this reason, not sure how to rate the food. Server was friendly, but slow. She looked really busy. I was not in a rush, so it did not bother me much. Overall I would definitely recommend- I will give the food another go before passing judgement.

The back bar in the back outdoor area is fun for drinking & the inside is great for dates & group booths. Love Love Love the late night menu (awesome grilled cheese) & I highly recommend the Tempranillo (aka as I like to call it, bacon or maple wine) I could pour that over pancakes!!!

Was really excited to eat here ... and had a miserable experience. Found a large bug in our salad and then my chicken entree was still raw in the middle! The service was really slow and THEY DIDN"T COMP THE MEAL!! They comped the appetizers and 1 drink. The place is cool and that's about all they got going for them. The food was a good attempt, but the preparation killed it.

Fun restaurant, with good, reasonably priced menu. Cheese plate looked wonderful, and they serve several sparkling wines by the glass, as well as three kinds of Chimay. This is definitely in the same mode as the Turf Supper Club; that is, it's a younger crowd and a retro, but elegant setting. We had a good salad, the octopus appetizer, and split the burger--all were very good. We'll go back when in the neighborhood.

As a restaurant, it's loud so don't go if you want a dining event that includes talking to tablemates. We were there celebrating a birthday and the table next to us was celebrating an engagement so this is clearly a place with a reputation for celebrations. The food was tasty but pricey. The garlic fries and the green salad were great. The steak was chewy but had decent flavor; it was sided by a mushroom bread pudding that was different and fun. One in my party tried the vegetarian stuffed cabbage and couldn't eat it. The waiter took it off the bill, a classy touch. I would go back for the bar scene but stick to appetizers.

PERFECT! I love this place. It was like a little gem, almost hidden. I'm so glad I found it online, on SD Reader's website, I think. The fact that they serve organic food and the $20.00 Tuesdays are what grabbed my attention, and made this a must-do for me. The staff was very attentive the entire time I was there. The food was so-o-o-o delicious. Portions were more generous than I expected. Stuffed cabbage stayed nice and warm longer than I expected. To me, it had the ambiance of a rustic little European village eatery. I already started telling my friends about it. Glad to see they collaborate with People's Organic Co-op. I will definitely eat here again and again. amm
