A word from The Melting Pot - Bellevue
Situated in the hub of Downtown Bellevue, The Melting Pot provides a casually elegant, intimate atmosphere. The relaxing 4 course experience begins with cheese fondue prepared tableside. Fresh salad follows while your entrée pot heats up. You’ll simmer a variety of tantalizing meats, seafood, & vegetables. Each morsel is hot, fresh, & flavorful. Entrees are accompanied by an array of dipping sauces to add to the fun. Your choice of chocolate fondue is the grand finale, served with a variety of delicious dippers. Many have stopped by to satisfy that fondue craving after a movie at Lincoln Center, a day of shopping at Bellevue Square or The Bravern, or a family outing at the park.

We feature an extensive wine list, fresh trendy cocktails, & specialty martinis.

We had heard good things about the Meltin Pot restaurants so to celebrate a birthday, we decided to try it and found that it really is a fun place to dine. The food is very good and the service we received from our server was excellent. It was a unique dining experience that I will recommend to others. The location is convenient and parking was eary to find.

Went for my daughter's 13th birthday. The whole dining experience was great interactive fun for her, not to mention delicious for everyone. She told me it was her best dinner ever, and I've taken her to some notable Seattle-area restaurants. For a 13-year-old, that's high praise. Our server, Natasha made the evening complete. She was attentive, yet unassuming. She seemed to anticipate our needs, and fulfilled them swiftly and competently. Nice job!

Our server Stella was wonderful and had a great sense of humor. Unfortunately, we had an Entertainment coupon for $15 off the dinner and it didn't apply on weekends. We usually just go to the Melting Pot on the special occasions due to the expense.

This is the perfect place for a special occasion. It can be perfect for an intimate dinner or a girls night out! The courses come at a steady pace keeping your taste buds ready for the next. The entire process leaves plenty of time for great dinner conversation and definitely full by the end! We will be back!

We had a really good time. It was our anniversary and they gave us a great private table. More money than we would normally spend, but great for a special occasion.

I am extremely impressed with open table! I was also very pleased when the maitre de mentioned Happy Birthday when we checked in without having me say anything. The maitre de provided excellent service! However, once we reached our table...service went down hill from there. I know the melting pot is in experience, but I wasn't expecting to spend 3 hours there and not on our account, but more or less watching the broth boil for 30 minutes when all they are bringing out is raw food. It has been a few years and I may go back to the Seattle location, but I do not plan on going back to the Bellevue location any time soon.

Our service was very poor. I spoke to the manager and he carefully listened to our complaints. He was glad to get feedback (negative or possitive) from his customers. He invited us back to the resturant to give it another try. He gave me a certificate for 2 complimentary entrees and 2 desserts. We will give it another try. The bartender was very helpful in filling in where the server did not!

Our server Robert was new and not very attentive. We were left between courses for long periods of time and he forgot to bring a fondue fork to replace the one that he dropped while serving desert. Over all the Melting Pot is a great place to go for special occasions. The food is wonderful and I've enjoyed great service in the past.

This is my favorite restaurant in the seattle area with the exception of Daniel's Broiler at the top of Bellevue Place. Come to The Melting Pot to enjoy a dining experience, not just a nice dinner.

Thought it would be romantic but the place was a bit dirty, the food wasn't that good, and it was filled with rowdy teenagers on prom dates or something.

I am not sure if it was my system being sensitive to the rich food, under-cooked meat or mishandled food, but both my husband and I got violently ill 20 minutes after eating here. The food at the time was great, but not worth losing an evening in the bathroom over. If it had not been for the illness which ensued, I would rate this restaurant higher. We're from Vancouver Island, and Unfortunately, we were on vacation in July 2009 when we ate here and never followed-up with this restaurant.

  • I was surprised at the good
    OpenTable Diner Since 2002

I was surprised at the good food quality. I expected a fondue place would have mediocre quality food and that the expense would be primarily for the unique experience. It's a fun place to go with a group of friends. Would definitely go back for a fun social dinner.
