The food was good, but when compared with the price and other offerings in Orlando (Shula's, Yachtsman Steak House) it's overpriced. The service was slow, and the restaurant wasn't that busy, so taking 25 minutes before getting our order was a bit surprising. The lack of a sugar-free dessert option was disappointing - as most of the Disney signature restaurants are great with providing creative desserts for those who have dietary restrictions. You'd be better off going to the Yachtsman Steak House over this location.

Our server Raphael greeted us warmly with a "Happy Birthday" to my wife, we were celebrating her b-day; great start. Raphael then walked us through the amazing menu, telling us every detail of how the dishes are prepared by the Chef. It was obvious that Raphael had sampled all the items on the menu, and had passion for the product. His suggestion of starting with the tomato/mozz salad, out of this world, best we've ever tasted - he pre-split salad for us which was very welcomed. As if the attentive water, bread, and Raphael's service were not enough, he expertly de-boned the dover sole right in front of us, a first for my wife and me. This and the potato service made this a night to remember. We will be back for our next special occasion.

My husband and I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria for the weekend for a special occasion. We had dinner at the Bull & Bear restaurant and enjoyed every minute of it. The service was wonderful, everyone was very friendly and polite. The food was delicious and very high quality. We didn't have to wait too long for anything we asked for and our server was outstanding and very knowledgeable. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back again soon.

Service atrocious, food substandard. Beautiful facility. Annoying rap style music coming from overhead speakers, not in keeping with the ambiance of the place. Steak arrived for one member of the party way before the terrible dover sole for the other three. Terrible caesar salad. Won't go back. Special occasion evening spoiled by service and food.

The overall experience was ok. The starters were excellent, we had the heirloom tomotoes and they were superb. The entrees were OK. Our table enjoyed mostly steak with ine Tuna. The steaks had good flavor but not exceptional for the prices. Overall I would say the restaurant is good, we will probably go backas we stay at the hotel there a lot.

Went to this restaurant for a late dinner on a weeknight. I was attending a conference at the Hilton Waldorf Bonnet Creek so I picked this restaurant because it was located within our hotel complex. The restaurant itself is located near the lobby of the Waldorf. It is very modern and elegant and the service is fast and professional. The wine selection is extensive and they had a great selection of cocktails. For entrees we had the Ribeye and the Scallops, both of which were very good. Sides are served family style; we had the creamed corn and the sauteed mushrooms, both of which were great, but I would highly recommend the creamed corn. Dessert...chocolate souffle with a Grand Marnier cream. Overall food was excellent. Service was good.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 2/8/2010
The Waldorf Hotel is new and pleasant but after spending $300 plus for food and wine for 3 people, we were required to pay $5.00 Valet parking fee even AFTER getting the validation stamp from the restaurant. When asked, the desk said the fee was normally $20 but only $5 with a ticket validated from the restaurant. This was paid before the car was brought up and before we tipped the valet guy. Living in Orlando for 24yrs, we have never paid additional money to Valet with a validated ticket. We have never in any other city, whether at a hotel or restaurant. That left a bad taste in our mouth. Waldorf needs to revisit this as tourists may not complain but locals will be put off. And, Chatham's restaurant has superior service, food & is closer.

I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out almost well done. I didn't return it since I didn't want to eat by myself. Also, one of my pet peeves, the hostess tried to seat us right next to a very large and loud group, even though the restaurant was virtually empty. The waitstaff was outstanding, very friendly.

My girl friend and I dined at the Bull and Bear on Friday, January 15, 2010. All we can say is that this was one of our finest dining experiences ever. World-class food, service, and food presentation. The decor is rich and comfortable; we sat at a window to enjoy the sunset and golf course. Table-side presentation for both salads and potato was a real treat. My guest enjoyed the steak; I had the special Dover sole. Both excellent. Perfect for a special occasion.

    Dined on 11/28/2009
This is the signature restaurant of the new Waldorf Astoria in Orlando. The food was absolutley excellent as was the service. This place definitely has the elegant steak house feel but we liked it better than Morton's, Capital Grill etc. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive without hovering too much. Must try the creamed corn and the Lobster Newberg, it was amazing. I will have a hard time now eating lobster any other way. Overall a very good meal in a very elegant new hotel.
