This restaurant was wonderful!! Extremely expensive though. I would say 6-7 $ signs! I wish I would have know as I would have saved for a special occasion. I've eaten all over town at very expensive restaurants but this was the MOST expensive. Not knowing took away the excitement. Perfect for Anniversary or Birthday though. Be prepared to be treated like Royalty.

In noisy Las Vegas, Michael's was a quiet, elegant respite. Our dinner was perfection. I started with the William J's Salad which was fabulous. My husband had the filet & I had the salmon francaise and we shared the spinach & au gratin potato. We loved everything but the portions were very good sized and I was unable to finish. Even tho' we had no room for dessert, we managed to taste the delicious petit fours & chocolate-dipped fruit which were brought to the table after the meal. It was old-fashioned elegance at its best. We will make a special trip to Las Vegas for our wedding anniversary just to again experience a wonderful meal at Michael's.

Service is excellent, but the quality of the food and the price do not jive. Michael's has lost its touch. The value is simply no longer there. There are too many other places in Las Vegas with excellent food for less than the $150-$200 per person price tag that one should expect to pay at Michael's. Go to Rosemary's for phenomenal food at half the price.

  • Great meal with an old vegas feel.
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 7/7/2010
Michael's has on old school vegas feel with it's dark wood and red velvet decor. It's what I imagine a steakhouse back in the mob days would be like with a maitre'd and staff dressed in tuxedos, silver tray service, and top notch table side service. It's a pricey restaurant be prepared to spend at least $400+ for drinks, spinach salald done for 2 done table side, chateau brion done table side (vegetable included), and wine. But the hidden perks like antipasta platter to snack on while you look at the menu, bottled water included with service, and the fruit platter and petit fours while you look at dessert make the meal feel luxurious. Great for special occasions. Oh and ladies get menus with no prices on them. Old school.

After many years, Michael's still remains one of my very favorite restaurants in the world. It has the ambiance of old Las Vegas, from the beautiful crystal chandeliers to the red velvet booths and large wing back chairs, with fabulous five star service. The plate presentation is beautiful; my appetizer was served in its own personal ice sculpture with a light in the bottom and an orchid on top. WOW! Many of the salads and main dishes are prepared table side which is a nice treat! I highly recommend Michael's Restaurant, and I'll save some of their secret details until you visit!

Thank you to Michael's for making our 25th anniversary dinner perfect. Our waiter was most helpful in advising us that we had ordered too much food. We love the Florida Stone Crabs and had each ordered for appetizer and each ordered salads in addition to main course. His suggestion that we split the appetizer and salad was right on. Everything was excellent. We both said there are not many restaurants left where you get that kind of special service. We also celebrated a family dinner at Michael's for Christmas Eve last year and had the same experience. That was for 8 of us and everyone loved it.

Michael's is by far the most elegant restaurant in Las Vegas. We've been there many times and the food is 5 stars plus. Though it is an expensive dining experience it is certainly worth it. A great place to celebrate a special occasion or just a special treat. The staff is extremely attentive and the presentation of the food is a cut above.

We went to Michael's for a 70th birthday for a good friend. We included that information on our reservation expecting that some attention would be given to this by the resturant, no acknowledgement was given at all. The servers are overly attentive, but less than friendly. We found the fish to be a little under cooked. The appetizer tray served at the beginning of the meal is wonderful, the fruit bowl servered at the end is over the top. This was our fourth visit to Michael's and I am sure we will return as we enjoy it's very special charm.

Possibly the best restaurant in the WORLD. Been to almost a thousand restaurants and Michael's is amazing. Service is the finest you will ever find. With an amazing host (Jose), Captain (Russel), server, etc., nothing is left unnoticed. Food is to die for if you don't get full before your meal arrives! Again, the best restaurant - wish it was located on The Strip or closer to my house!

Classic meat and fish dishes, many prepared table-side and elegantly presented. Extraordinary service, and impeccable attention to detail. Expensive, but one of the few that is worth every bit. Michael's is very, very expensive, but well worth the cost. I highly recommend the stone crab claw appetizer when they are in season. The veal saltimbocca was also amazing. Actually, everything was wonderful, especially the fresh made lemon sorbet! I went with my husband, and was highly amused that the menu they gave to me did not have any prices on it. Chivalry is not dead, I guess. I was also amused by the fact that we had our own personal wait staff of three. Our every need was anticipated (and even a few things we didn't know we needed), and the staff were great about explaining the few items on the menu that we were not familiar with.

The amount and quality of food is amazing, but I was less than pleased that they refused to remove an item off of my bill that we didn't like...It is a good thing the meal was mostly comp'd by the casino, because this is completely unacceptable in a restaurant of this quality and stature. Ambience and decor are 1950s elegance including menus that don't have prices for guests.
