My group said the steaks were cook just right and very favorful. I had the sea bass that was just to die for. It melted in your mouth. The waiter was very helpful and all his suggestions were excelent such as quail which none of us every had to the crab cakes that were the best I have ever had. He also suggested the creme brulee and the croissant bread pudding both very good choices. A great experience!!!! A hidden jewel in the downtown area. Prices were average and I don't think it was as pricey as some steakhouses I have been to. Our dinner for four was approx. 350.00 which included 2 drinks apiece, appertizers, entree, sides and dessert & coffee. The only downfall was seating was too close.

The wedge salad was very moderately priced and absolutely huge. The 12 ounce filet mignon was incredible, and a steal at $43, considering the not-that-good steakhouse at the MGM Grand has a 10 oz. filet for $52. The Ahi tuna was incredible as well. Wine list was large and largely overpriced, although a glass of Californian red zinfandel was tasty. However, the bottles are all 12-20 dollars more than they are at other restaurants. The bread wasn't good at all. However, the main course made up for everything. An absolute gem. Should have a dress code. We dressed up, although the group of 8 men behind us had shorts and sandals on. This is a treat for Las Vegas. Only problem is that it's far from most places (a $23 cab ride from MGM).

    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 8/3/2008
Vic and Anthony's has that warm and comfortable feeling of an Italian Steakhouse. The dark wood, the black and white photo's, the linens, even the uniforms of the waitstaff make you feel like you're sitting in a restaurant Tony Soprano would love. The food was terrific...perhaps one of the best filets I've ever had...and the service was great. Once you step into the restaurant you honestly forget that you're in a busy casino. The only negatives are that there isn't much of a view...although a dark, romantic steakhouse really doesn't need one...and that they strangely enough don't have their own bathrooms...patrons have to step out into the Lobby and use a bathroom there. Bathrooms aside, this is a terrific steakhouse!

  • I made my reservation 2 month
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008

I made my reservation 2 month in advance. It was a combination birthday/aniversary dinner. I got seated at a table that was so small that you could not even put the menu down on the table one the bread was served. it was by the entrance to the bar so there was a never ending stream of people going by my table. To make matters worse, on the raised area next to out table was an elderly man in shorts and flip flops whose rear end was not more than 2 feet from my face. I saw plenty of other 2 tops at larger tables, and I know some of the people that sat at those table made there reservations just on week in advance. I loved the food, one of the best steaks I ever had, but I will never allow my self to be seated in such a poor area again.

  • As I indicated on my Credit
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 7/19/2008
As I indicated on my Credit Card receipt, my wife and I were disappointed with the service. My steak was dry and overcooked and wife's was undercooked (Order wrong?). Wine list was ok at best. We were seated next to a party of 8-10 people. One guy was eating his mashed potatoes with this hands he was so hammered. He was wearing blue jeans with holes in them and a T-Shirt (NO Dress code?) Two girls kept screeching at the top of there lungs. They kept taking pictures with there butts in my wife face because your tables are too close. So with that said, we will not be returning to your restaurant. This also reflects on the Hotel. My wife's birthday dinner was NOT a HIT!

A very elegant restaurant redolent of old Vegas with photos of the Rat Pack on the wall, dark woods and gorgeous stained glass ceilings and lighting. Food was quite delicious, service was quick and unobtrusive, and the piped-in music was that of old Vegas. Overall, a rare gem in the downtown part of Las Vegas!

This restaurant needs restroom facilities. The restrooms are impossible to find and you have to fight the gambling crowds in the smoke filled casino to get there. All nice dining facilities have their own restroom facilities, so should Vic & Anthony's. This may prevent me from a return trip.

Vic and Anthony's was a very nice resturant. The menu was a little too fancy for what we were looking for, but we enjoyed the dinner. The steak prices were in the high $50's and up, and we ended up spending well over $125.00 for two of us without eating steak. Nice place for a special occission, but not for vacation dinner unless you dont care about the cost. The waiter was very knowledgeable, and he spent 5 minutes going over every special they have. Very impressive presentation but not needed from our aspect. We would go there again, but only for a special occassion. We do go to the Golden Nugget only when we go to vegas, and enjoy the different resturants they have. Vic & Anthony's is definately the classiest.-Ryan

The food was mediocre, at best, and the price was unreasonably high for the quality. I never have and never will understand such a "classy" restaurant resorting to ala carte menu items/pricing. Had I known quality and customer service was placed beneath profit margins, then I'd have chosen Burger King or McDonald's. At least you know what to expect from them.

This was my second time at this steakhouse and it is my new favorite restaurant. As long as the steaks are prime I will be back on every visit to Las Vegas. Our server, Harold, was great and the filet mignon was outstanding! The au gratin potatoes were the best I have ever had. If not staying downtown, as I was not, it is worth the cab ride. The prime steaks and service are worth the the trip! This is a must do restaurant.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2005
    Dined on 5/21/2008
The atmospere at this restaurant was very nice, but the service was marginal and so was the food. Not worth the cab ride from the strip. Obviously, Lance our waiter wasn't having a good night...I don't know if it was because he was given 2 tables of women in a row or what. When we heard the tables on either side of us complaining about their food, we should have just paid for our drinks and left, because our turn was coming! Bone in rib eye is not a melt in your mouth cut, but the piece of meat I was served was gristly and tough. It took me about 6 tries to saw off each piece. The au gratin potatoes were full of onion salt, necessitating repeated requests (ignored) for more water. I was the guest of a friend so did not complain.

Great atmosphere. With steakhouses going with more modern today it was nice to go to a steakhouse that had character. Bone in Rib Eye served perfectly-pink center not burned on outside. Juicy when I cut in but served with too much butter. Broiled Portabellos-fabulous. Antipasto salad a miss. Person who drizzled the balsamic had a heavy hand. Drinks were perfect. Not too strong or weak. Would have been nice to see a cocktail menu. Service attentive.
