The food was great, and we had a really good time there. Also, the bar selection is outstanding, including the best selection of scotch and cognac I have seen pretty much anywhere.

It is quite expensive but a fabulous foodie place. It was a birthday celebration. Waitstaff was fabulous as always. It and the food keeps me coming back. I work in Marketing at Whole Foods Market and love this restaurant.

I took my boyfriend out for a special surprise dinner and we had an absolutely wonderful time. We were actually quite full after our second course, but managed to finish most everything on our plates. Wonderful selection, delicious food, and a comfortable atmosphere. I would definitely go there again.

Despite our many visits to Tomasso's Trattoria, the latest (12/19/08), not done through Open Table, was a real disappointment. While staff and service has always been impeccable, we found the quality of the "secondi" on this evening far below their normal level of excellence. We haven't always loved the items featured on their menu, but could never find fault with the quality of the products which they served. Tonight proved to be a real exception. Their regular steak feature was, at best, London Broil with lots of grizzle, fat and waste. At $26 it was an extreme disappointment. Had we known the quality of the beef, we would have chosen another item. I fear we won't go back there for quite some time.

Somewhat confusing menu. Be prepared for noisy dining, perhaps with a view of the kitchen(or the bar). Food sound "fancy" but is actually just above ordinary.

I love the menu. Tables are a little close together to be considered "romantic." The bar side is a little more casual and interesting. The one complaint I always have is that the servers and host have an attitude-- it is not welcoming. That has prevented me from making reservations when I'm not in the mood to deal with it. If I'm spending good money for dinner, I want to enjoy every aspect of my dining experience, not just the food.
