we really enjoyed our dinner at Edge. I took my father and his friends there after the Bach Festival and everyone loved their entre. Service was a bit slow, but not that big a deal. Staff was friendly, accomodating, and eager to please.

The food was good but I don't think the value was there in terms of the price. The server was nice and somewhat attentive. It seemed like he had too many tables he was looking after at one time.

Edge is our favorite restaurant in the Lehigh Valley. We've never had anything to eat there that wasn't outstanding. Can't wait for another chance to dine there.

  • The price for a 7-8 oz. hamburger
    OpenTable Diner Since 2004
    Dined on 4/10/2010
The price for a 7-8 oz. hamburger was $16. The hambrger was not much better than a bigmac, which you can buy for a lot less money. The restaurant has two dollar signs, meaning you can eat for about 30 bucks. Try to stay within that budget a d you get very little for your money. It should have at least 3 dollar signs to be truthful about the cost of eating there.

We ordered three of the specials for the evening and 1 foi gras. Two of the specials were excellent; the third was too busy. The cost of the meal was much higher than indicated on your Open Table site.

I've been there three times now, and the experience is still the same: just outstanding (excellent food, quality, ambiance, service, and music). The manager, Jesse, and the head chef, even took 3 days to research and prepare my girl's favorite dessert. What more can you really ask for? We felt special, welcome, and treated like royalty.

  • Upscale and hip restaurant
    ToxDocVIP
    Dined on 3/19/2010
Upscale and hip restaurant with a well appointed wait staff. Modern/contemporary decor with lighting kept low - not for kids under 12 yrs old. Started off with a properly seasoned tuna tartare that melted in your mouth. Filet mignon in demi glace with wild mushrooms accompanied with potato au gratin was superb. Finished with tiramasu containing molasses, malibu rum and toated coconut topping. All food was seasoned perfectly (attested to the fact that even though no salt and pepper shakers were on the table, they were not needed). Staff was very attentive.

In a word, spectacular! My husband and I took our son and his girlfriend for a special night out before he goes back to college and we all enjoyed it tremendously. We ordered from the restaurant week menu and every dish was excellent. Our waiter recommended a new wine that we loved and the overall experience was top-notch.

Our meals during Restaurant Week were wonderful. It was a nice introduction to the restaurant, one we will definately consider visiting again for future special occasions. We wouldn't normally have ordered appetizers but I'm glad they were included because the Roasted Cauliflower was to die for. The whole meal from start to finish was delicious and artistically presented.

  • We were pleasantly surprised

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality, ambiance, and service at Edge while visiting Bethlehem for a weekend away. It was on par with some of the restaurants we frequent in New York City and reminded us of some of the restaurants down off of Park Avenue. They timing between the appetizer and main course was done well and you did not feel rushed by the server. The duck dish was exceptional which had spaetzel and broccolini, a good complement. My husband enjoyed the butterfish, however, would have preferred to have a green vegetable and grain rather than just a huge mound of salad next to small piece of fish. We definitely would go back and recommend to friends visiting the area.

Food was very good. Good presentation. I had the duck, which was cooked exactly how I ordered it. A little expensive to eat there everyday but definitely worth it. Expect to spend $80 for two people, without drinks. The service was attentive, but not overbearing.

I hosted my office Christmas party at Edge. We could not have been more pleased! The food was fabulous, excellent steak, fish and lamb. Our server, Emmanuel, recommended perfect drink accompaniments. The creme brulee is the best I've found and I've been on a three year mission to find the best. We never felt rushed and the atmosphere was "edgy". Excellent choice for a special event or a romantic evening. Ask for Manny to be your server, if you like someone with a personality. You won't be disappointed.
