Pretty good food. Friendly wait staff. Relaxed, cozy atmosphere. I would come back for sure. Especially good if you've worked up a good appetite for some good food at the blackjack table or the slots.

We had a large dinner group recently eat at the restaurant. The service was just okay but the food was amazing!! Everyone raved over the scallop satimbocca and the wonderful steaks. It was amazingly affordable in comparison to many downton eatieries and the food was fantastic. The chef visited our table after the meal and asked how everything was which we also enjoyed. We will definietly go back again and it will become a North Burnaby neighbourhood favorite!

The food was amazing, the staff was great-everything would have been perfect if it wasn't for this one lady - I can't recall her name, she was wearing a name tag and was probably a supervisor. She called my cell phone twice re:another group seated at the same time and I told her it's fine we could order after them if the kitchen would be too overloaded - well after speaking with her on the phone 3 times (she called me twice and I also spoke with her about this the first time I called to alter the reservation time) - she proceeded to annoy our group about this 3-4 times after we were seated. I probably would not go here with a big group or this women will harrass you to no end. But for one or two people it would probably be fine.

The Tuna had a bit of an Asian flair to it. Very Tasty. My husband had the chicken with Risotto which I think I will try next time we are at EBO. The Chili Espresso that came with my dessert was a perfect accompaniment for the poached pears! It was an enjoyable evening.

Me and my partner celebrated our Christmas dinner here. We had their Christmas dinner buffet, and for the amount that you paid for, it is definitely worth it. There were lots of choices in either appetizers, main and desserts. All in all I am quite impressed with this place. We will definitely go back.

At first we were offered a not very acceptable table in an almost completely empty restaurant; this often happens when women are dining alone or as a group. The waiter was not very pleasant at first and pushy regarding ordering. He did however "lighten" up and the service was then very good.

The food was beautifully plated and cooked to perfection for our whole group. I've been there 3 times and each time the chef has done an outstanding job and I'm impressed! Their name is a little misleading as we thought it was an asian style restaurant but it specializes in West Coast flavors. Their wine list is wanting in my opinion as it features nothing but west coast wines.

Despite a ton of staff running around it seemed our waiter had a few large tables (we were a two top). Food, in general, was good. Presentation was good. They were happy to substitute starch for more veggies. One of the better restaurants in the area. Dinner for two, with wine and after dinner coffee was +$150

I must say I prefer lunch rather than dinner at Ebo. Dinner was somewhat disappointing. 1st - The calamari was too salty and was not hot. 2nd - while the steak was excellent the fries were cold and needed some kind of dipping sauce. 3rd - my lemon tart was still frozen in the middle. We were also seated near the food preparation area which was somewhat noisy and distracting. Why we could not have been moved is beyond me - there were empty tables set up but when I inquired about them I was told that they were reserved yet nobody was seated in them for the entire evening. Our server was attentive and responsive and the food manager was extremely helpful.

Food selection was good and food tasted great & was well-presented. Food was a bit on the more expensive side. Service was pleasant, but slow, especially after we received our meals. Likely too few servers for the number of patrons. Pleasant, relaxed and nicely-decorated environment. Casual dress welcome. Open early for breakfast on weekends. Great place to have in the neighbourhood and free, covered parking was available. I would definitely return here.
