Food was great, good value. We ate outside on Arlington Rd side and that wasn't the best for ambiance. Still, a very nice stop.

As usual with all the Lebanese Taverna, our first visit to the Bethesda venue was an outstanding experience. We feasted on Mezza and then enjoyed the Turkish coffee and great desserts. Our waiter provided outstanding service without the being either pretentious or bothersome. A wonderful experience.

The food was terrific, and the service fast. Our waiter gets special recognition for exchanging the first bottle of wine he had brought us, which was at room temperature, for a properly chilled new bottle, even after he had opened the first one and given us a sample. Most places will simply put the bottle into an ice bucket (if that much) and expect you to wait while it chills, usually not up to a proper temperature. Some places will just seem perplexed that one expects to drink white wine chilled.

Food was good, consistent with previous dining experiences at Lebanese Taverna. The new restaurant in Bethesda is beautiful and good for large groups to share the mezza. Service was excellent.

Food was great as always can be expected with Lebanese Taverna however the service was a bit slow. It took 20 minutes before our order was taken. Food was brought out rather quickly though, the timing between appetizers and the main course was too close together.

Great food and quick, attentive service. Only problem is the noise, if you eat indoors. The din makes it difficult to converse. I will definitely return, but request a table outdoors.

I have eaten at the location in Washington, DC but not this one in Bethesda. Loved this location. Ambience is wonderful...staff was helpful and friendly but not intrusive. Everything was clean and welcoming. Food was excellent. We ordered serveral "Mezze" and shared them...best thing to do in this restaurant in my opinion.

I was pleased with our dinner at the Lebanese Taverna. It's a large restaurant with a lovely interior and does not feel impersonal at all. One friend asked the waiter for a recommendation for a chicken dish which she said was excellent and two of us had different lamb dishes that we were pleased with. We also shared an appetizer of hummos which was small but very tasty. The only slight concern was that the service was somewhat slow with our waiter. We waited about 8 minutes after being seated for him to ask if we wanted drinks and then some time again before they came. It was the same with taking our order and we were practically done before he came back to see if everything was alright or if we needed anything else. I would return

If you are familiar with the menu selections and know what to order, I imagine Lebanese Taverna could be great. However, we were not very familiar with Middle Eastern cuisine, and I didn't think the menu did enough to really explain what specific dishes contain. Although our food was good, I don't think it was the best of what the menu has to offer, or what we may have enjoyed most. I also don't think I would go back too many times to figure that out. We got appetizers, dinner, and dessert--no alcohol of any kind, and not even coffee-- and the bill was over $80. The decor is lovely and the restaurant is HUGE! It was surprisingly empty for a Saturday night; only a few tables in addition to ours. We liked it, but didn't love it.

We've eaten at the Tysons location and had a much better experience. The restaurant was not full, yet our service was horrible. We don't think we ever had a waiter assigned to our table. It seemed as if the manager kept noticing that we needed something and then took care of it. The food was good, but it may be that we did not order something from the menu that would have been our first choice. However, it appears the menu has enough choices that anyone could find something to their liking. I would go again, but may sit inside the restaurant. The outside seating may have been our service problem.

The food was delicious. The restaurant is quite large and new (opened in September)with elegant decor. We went there early (5 pm) on a Sunday night so it don't know if it would be noisy if full, though with the high ceilings probably not. The menu is large and varied, and the food fresh and well-seasoned. I highly recommend it.

The food here always tastes fresh. The service is hot and cold, but usually is very good. The waiters always know how to answer questions or concerns about the menu items. Hot pita on the table with olive oil for dipping: very tasty! Such an extensive menu makes great reason to return again and again. Tasty tasty tasty! As a vegetarian, I never leave this place hungry or unsatisfied.
