The Grille & Pub at Mountain Branch is a favorite for relaxing after a round of golf and is an ever-popular destination for lunch, dinner and late night. Spacious patios afford dining al fresco when the weather is mild. And when winter winds are blowing, a large fireplace keeps the inside warm and cozy. The American-classic menu offers a diverse mix of tastes, including soups, salads, and sandwiches as well as fresh fish, crab cakes and Angus beef. Our chefs take pride in keeping the offerings creative and interesting - taking full advantage of fresh seasonal ingredients.

Prefix menu was varied and we're great choices. Each guest had a deferential entree. Table had a nice view of golf course. Bar was a little crowded due to a party that had finished up. Overall great time great meal.

This is a favorite place for my friends and I to meet and eat. Ordered the fried oyster lunch menu which really was almost perfection. The oysters were large, fresh and sweet and lightly coated which did not detract from their flavor. The french fries were freshly made and not frozen and were fantastic. The only disappointment was the cream of crab soup. The base was delicious and if it were a little thinner, it would have been superb. But there was no crab in the soup!. Normally there are large chunks of crab meat with a spoonful floated on top. Not this time. If the restaurant is going to offer cream of crab, make sure there is crab in the soup.

My girl and I had a wonderful, romantic dinner at Mountain Branch. Since Valentine's Day was snowed out we opted to go here on Friday, February 21st. They were serving the regular menu in addition to the Baltimore County Restaurant week menu. We selected some options from the Restaurant Week menu on the recommendation of our waitress, Anna. Our excellent entrees were paired with an outstanding wine and the deserts were fantastic as well! Anna was the perfect waitress. Her timing and delivery of the meal was amazing and she made us feel right at home. Hopefully, you will get Anna as you server as well. We will be dining at Mountain Branch over and over again. Thank you.

My daughter and I had the best evening. We ended up bringing my 3 year old grandson. Our waitress was so receptive to his being there. She got his food ordered quickly and did not seem at all put off with his presence. Our meals were delicious and we both felt that we had the opportunity to talk and actually relax. I will definately be back.

Not our first time here, so it won't be our last. One of the nicer features of this restaurant is the view; however, we were seated at a table upstairs up near the waiters' station, and our only view was of the large party next to us with the view. Our waitress was, at best, adequate and seemed somewhat dismissive. Plenty of handicap parking, but when we're seated upstairs where the elevator is nearly blocked with unused tables it becomes a bit of a moot point.

we sat for over 25 min. When we mentioned this to a staff member, the servers huddled by the stairs. Finally Margaret came to the table apologized and stated because we already had drinks they assumed the table was being worked. Very disappointed that this assumption is practiced in a facility that has a pub.

Celebrated my mothers birthday here and I had only been once but I wanted to try their dinner cuisine as I had attended a lunch here previously. The food was terrific! I wasn't that hungry so I only had a Cesar salad, which was good minus the romain hearts. My mother had the lamb lollipop as a appetizer and salmon with green beans for her entree. She was very pleased. We ended the meal with their signature bread pudding, which was delicious! I'll be back again!

An enjoyable dinner on Friday night with two of my childhood friends! Having gone to Mountain Branch on several occasions for lunch thought it would be the ideal place for dinner. I had the broiled crab cakes with green beans, crab cakes were delicious but the green beans should have been cooked another couple of minutes.. I like my lettuce crisp not my green beans! Enjoyed two glass of the house chardonnay during dinner, should have thought to ask for the Kendall Jackson! Our service was great, our waitress returned many times to check on us & ask if we needed dessert, drinks etc.... Highly recommend Mountain Branch, looking forward to spring & having lunch by the windows overlooking the patio & golf course!

First time having lunch here and it was nice. The food was good. Salad was nice and cream of crab was ok. It lacked the "jumbo lump crab meat" as advertised but the flavor was ok. I've had better, and I've had worse. Waiter seemed a little too aloof and I felt a little out of place. It is a fine restaurant, but he seemed a little too snooty. I would go back more if they had more lunch specials.

We went to Mountain Branch Grille for Restaurant Week. The food was excellent. An appetizer of fried oysters and an entree of Diver Scallops could not possibly be surpassed. Our party for brunch was a total of six and our service was great the whole time, the food was great no complaints. The only thing that we didn't like was where they put our table, it seemed like an after thought even though i made reservations well in advance. They put tables together in the middle of the aisle-way so we were in the way of other tables.

We went there for brunch. The food was hot and fresh. Enjoyed the atmosphere and service was fine until a group came in, then our table was forgotten. People waiting for omelets cluttered the buffet line so you had to ask them to move. Placing the omelet table some where else would be logical.

I was dinning with a friend , found the service prompt , pleasant and unrushed. My companion and I chose to order different courses off the " Restaurant Week" menu and to share. We were delighted to see the Mountain Branch menu offered items off their regular menu(some places do not). Each course was delicious and delivered promptly so that hot items were hot and cold were still chilled. I would, and have recommended Mountain Branch to friends.

We have been trying Mountain Branch off & on for 10 years.....never very good, except for the summertime view. Four of our party of 6 were reluctant to go, but decided to take a chance once again and it was outstanding! Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. Steaks were cooked to order, salmon was moist, veggies were great and the sauces had a nice kick. Staff were friendly and communicative with possible wait time (but there was not) and never rushed us to or from our table. We ended up in the bar because it was such a pleasant experience. Nice roaring fire for a cold icy night too. Kudos to the new chef or manager........glad to see it all finally coming together. We will be back.

My family of 5 was seated at a four top table with a chair stuck on the end. We made reservations several weeks prior and the restaurant was empty at 11:00 on a Saturday so the seating was less than ideal. Though most of the party enjoyed their food, the Reuben was thickly cut corned beef and very fatty and chewy so it had to be sent back. The waiter did not regularly check in with our table so by the time a new order was placed the rest of the party had finished their meal. It took more than 20 minutes for dessert to come and the bread pudding was not as good as I remember in the past. Perhaps if it were very busy I could pass off some of these complaints as simple oversights due to the volume of people.

My son and I took my wife to Mountain Branch for her Birthday dinner. Although the servers seemed to be stretched thin due to Christmas parties, our server, Chance, seemed to have good teamwork with the Hostess and other servers. Chance was excellent. We never lacked attentive service. Our cocktails, appetizer (fresh calamari that was perfectly flash-fried), salads, entrees (my wife and I had prime rib while our son had bacon-wrapped cod), and desserts, were brought out in a timely fashion. The dining room was packed except for an empty 2-top table. It was a bit noisy with the band in the bar and all the holiday parties. But I wouldn't hesitate to go again, and I'd recommend it to friends.
