We have gone here many times, but I only when we are in that area of the City. In other words we wouldn't travel from Queens to go. This was the first time we had very young children with us (ages 2 and 3). I must say I was extremely impressed with the way they treat young, active children. They immediately gave them crayons and there own kids menu to color on, asked about high chairs etc. to make them comfortable, brought their meal right away (while we were just deciding, as they were hungry. OK you get the idea😄. Now as far as food. One of the few places I eat Sashimi as I feel I can trust it. Very fresh. The food in general is all fresh and good. No complaints but no raves either. We will however go back!!!!😍

Even though we had a reservation, we chose to eat at the bar. Our bartender, Nina, was amazing! She exuded a friendly demeanor and was very efficient as she served not only the bar patrons, but filled orders for the dining room as well. We had the lobster and shrimp spring rolls which are consistently amazing. Atlantic Grill is the only place in the city that I order them. The rest of the meal was excellent!

Atlantic Grill used to be our go to spot for a nice dinner. Unfortunately the menu has been scaled back -- the simply grilled fish no longer comes with potatoes. The fish we had was not good -- not anywhere near $30 per plate quality. When we asked the waiter about the changes he played it off as everything is the same. Waitstaff now wears jeans as well.

On a gorgeous day, I ate at an outside table. 3rd Ave is busy but the noise level was fine. The restaurant tables inside looked quieter, but then, they weren't outside enjoying the lovely day. I had avocado soup - very delicious and creamy (although no cream added). Probably could've used a little lemon. Then cold salmon filet on cous-cous, perfectly done with a peach chutney. I had the lemon cake for dessert which was lovely. However the table next to me had the chocolate polenta which looked delicious. Ah well, next time.

Went during Restaurant Week to try this restaurant for lunch. The menu presented nice choices for lunch. I tried chilled avocado soup for the first time... delicious! The main entrees were well presented and tasty. The wait staff was attentive, and courteous. To top it off the dessert was perfect to end a summer lunch. Plan to return soon.

I went for a business lunch and could not have been more disappointed. Our server was friendly, but inattentive and somewhat forgetful. However worse than that was the VERY mediocre food. The quality of the food was bad and the preparation and presentation were no better. I ordered a seafood cobb salad and the both the shrimp and scallops were mushy and of poor quality and the tomatoes were wilted and droopy. Even the soft-drinks (soda/lemonade) were unacceptable.

We went to Atlantic Grill for Restaurant Week and realized that it offered prix-fixe dinner menu ($35) all year long. Its menu was interesting Asian fusion with sushi, spring rolls, and dumplings in addition to regular seafood dishes. We ordered grilled swordfish and crispy skinned salmon. Both were very tender and delicious. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. She had allowed us to sit on the outdoor side table so that our dog could join us. But our waiter was forgetful. We asked for breads twice and he still did not bring them over so we finally just gave up.

Atlantic Grill is a great place for us, also for out-of-town visitors of all kinds. There is a good diversity of menu choices, especially delicious brunch options. The atmosphere is energetic and happy, always full of cheerful diners complemented by a friendly staff. Because of the popularity of the restaurant and the number of people to take care of, sometimes the staff can be a bit overwhelmed and service slow. This was not an issue for us since we had plenty of time to relax but might be a concern for others.

Highly recommend swordfish entree. Very very good. Steak well done was burned though. But then who orders steak well done anymore. The service wasn't attentive this time, so depends on the server. Overall, very solid for seafood. Decent wine list. Good ambiance. Busy but still can get a seat.

Came with my boyfriend to celebrate, 9pm res on a Fri night. We weren't too impressed with the resto-week menu overall, but the waiter let us order the salmon cevice as a regular appetizer. Not bad, but nothing special. I'm a simple eater, ordered the grilled scallops with broccolini. So succulent, juicy, tender, and delicious. Perfect portion size. He ordered the swordfish with lump crabmeat/sweet potato. That was amazing as well (even for the picky eater that I am!) Great blend of flavors and consistency. Only negative comment (and not even that bad!) was that ourserver had no knowledge of the menu. We asked for suggestions and everything was just "okay" or "yeah that's good". Will def be back - that says a lot coming from me!

We were five, and were seated in one of the comfortable banquette tables. Waitress, Michelle, was immediately welcoming, attentive but not intrusive all during dinner. The food, as always was excellent. Stated with sushi and fresh oysters and clams. Their seafood is the best. Had Branzino, salmon, sea bass for main courses, chocolate cake for dessert..The martinis were made to perfection and the wine list was a nice range from affordable to expensive. The restaurant was bustling, and there were no empty tables on this Friday night. So, as expected, the noise level was uncomfortable. This seems to be the case with most restaurants.

Atlantic Grill has an energetic ambiance, perhaps a bit challenging for people who have difficulty hearing. The crowd is mixed age ranges and is suitable for families with well-behaved children, this is not a children's restaurant per se. The fish is consistently good and preparations are flavorful and interesting. Raw oysters and sushi offering are excellent. Service is generally good, can be spotty when they are very busy. This is always a "go to" restaurant for me and my friends and family.

Fiance and I came for late dinner on Friday for restaurant week. Was disappointed to find they were out of the only restaurant week item I wanted to order- the black sea bass, so I ordered off the regular menu. I enjoyed an outstanding soft shell crab with lobster bisque, and calamari, and our attentive waitress was so sweet to bring us an awesome creme brulee on her, as she knew we were celebrating some good news. Service is always the most important part of my dining experience, even over food, so I was glad to have chosen Atlantic Grill of all the many options in the neighborhood that night and we look forward to returning.

My fiancé and I wanted to take my parents out to nice dinner, in advance of their upcoming birthdays. My parents know good food and are game to try new places so we thought Atlantic Grill would be a great spot. We had a wonderful time. Our server was great. My dad was trying sushi for the first time and she had fun with us while ordering and checked in to see what he thought when he tried it.
