The food is outstanding if you like fish. Only one chicken, pork and beef dish on the menu. Deserts are excellent. Had a coupon for a free bottle of wine with two entrees that the server forgot to take off the bill so she gave us another free bottle when the mistake was pointed out!

We are here for a family wedding...went to Scott's one night for lovely intimate dinner with my husband. The food was excellent, service was attentive and caring, the If you was great and we could actually hear each other easily. We went back the next night with the whole family and the waitstaff was absolutely spectacular. Scott's is fantastic at helping your family honor a very special occasion. Flower for the bride, special dessert for the couple and they took pictures that arrived in a Momento card for the couple before we left. And all this was courtesy of the restaurant!! Totally impressive and made for a memorable evening for our whole family.

We have dined at Scott's in Jack London Square several times. We have never been disappointed with the food or service, plus the scenic view of the bay. We will continue to frequent this establishment and recommend it to all who have not been there. Thanks for a wonderful and enjoyable birthday luncheon for my friend. We will be back very soon!

I was not expecting to walk onto a 1980's cruise ship dining area. That's how I felt from the mis match plates to the old brown padded wooden seats to retro chandeliers. The ambiance truly needs some updating. I ordered the Sole and it was flavorless. I was disappointed in the meal. Additionally the menu on open table is not the same menu at the restaurant. The reason for picking this restaurant was due to the menu and i was disappointed that 2 of the items I wanted were not featured on the menu once I arrived. the service was ok.

I first ate at Scott's more than 30 years ago when it was located on Lombard Street. I ate there three of the four nights I was in San Francisco. This time, with the move and several bad reviews, I was prepared to be disappointed. I wasn't. It was better than I remembered. The food was great, the service better and dinner for eight was a lot less than I expected. Scott's stays on my go to list for the San Francisco area. It's worth the trip across the Bay Bridge to get there.

Celebrated my mothers birthday here -- a five year tradtion! A sign of how well the team has it down: they brought out a long-stem rose, dessert with a candle and took her picture and placed it in a souvenir card. Of all the Bay Area, Scotts is among our favorites!

We enjoyed Mother's Day dinner at Scott's at Jack London Square, mostly for the lovely view, location and very nice service. The food was okay, but not inspired. My elderly mother enjoyed the traditional seafood most of our group. The cioppino was good- but nothing out of the ordinary. Oysters were very good. Mixed seafood saute, and while the side rice and vegetables were generous and tasty, the seafood serving was quite small, especially considering the price and okay but again uninspired. The views of the marina & water were lovely and service was accommodating;we enjoyed a leisurely dinner. There was live music that was great, but a little loud making conversation challenging at times. The cost was too high for the quality.

    Dined on 5/11/2014
From start to finish the service was bad. The hostess would not come get us from bar area when table was ready. Waitress was beyond slow in bar area. Sun was blinding at dining table and staff did not know how to work blinds. Our table and ohers figured out how to lower blinds. No napkins on table or bread plates. Had to request both, and would not refill bread without being asked. Service was extremely poor on every level. It is very apparent that this restaraunt is poorly managed. We have had good experiences in the past, but they missed at every opportunity. We will not be returning ever, which makes us sad.

I recently went to Scott's for my birthday dinner and was highly impressed. Most restaurants give you some kind of dessert for your birthday, but nothing to out of the ordinary. However, I was pleasantly surprised when Scott's gave me a dessert, rose and family photo for my birthday. I felt that this was incredibly kind of the restaurant and made my birthday amazing. However if you're not going to Scott's for a special occasion such as your birthday, I highly recommend this place for the service and the food. Everyone employee who helped us was very kind and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing as well.

Service and food were impeccable. The spinach salad with bacon and goat cheese was a perfect start. I had only an appetizer of crab cakes as an entree and even as an apoetizer the portiins werevvery small but the flavor was exactly what I was looking for. My dinner date had the linguini abd clams and I noticed he finished even the last bit of the sauce. The view of the marina even from my inside table gave us a resort feeling. We'll be back,

Excellent swordfish encrusted with fresh crab in a delicious Frenchy lemon sauce, perfect medium size scallops, prawns, fresh crap avocado salad washed down with a perfectly seasoned bucket of tender clams. Servers were attendant if not totally informed foodies themselves. They were unpretentious and respectful, a seemingly lost attribute in this era of Oaklandishly hip young service industry workers. I blame the internet. So Scott's is "old school". Impeccably prepared seafood, beautiful and romantic atmosphere and attentive and gracious hosts and servers. My compliments to the chefs.

I had not been to Scott's for quite some time. Wow, has the dining room décor changed. There is now a permanent brunch area - which I imagine works great for Sunday brunch and special event gatherings. Taking the space for the permanent set-up takes away from the main dining room space, so be sure to make reservations! The staff at Scott's is as gracious and accommodating as always. We enjoyed two fabulous seafood dinners - just enough food, not overwhelming or underwhelming portions. Enjoyed tasty desserts as well. Ask for a table by the windows for a wonderful water view. Can't go wrong!

    Dined on 4/20/2014
Scotts set up a buffet for Easter. So everyone had to go to the service area to select their food. Hats; Bright Pastel dresses and sharp dressed men passed me by all afternoon. I miss that about Easter. Scotts had two jazz trios playing. The one by the front door was better because they had a great jazz singer accompanying them. Oh, did I mention the food? It was not hot, had been sitting around, in some instances, for a long time and thus, looked and tasted unappetizing but overall it was a great experience. I would recommend Scotts for any dining occasion. I also did not think we should have been charged a "service charge" for our party since it was all self-serve, except for the Champagne.

My past reviews of Scott's Seafood have been 5 stars. The Easter Brunch we spent $50 + tax and tip was not as good as a casino buffet at Green Valley Resort we spent 8.00 + tip. The quality of the food was not up to Scott's standard. The prime rib was tough and carved ham was dry. Most food was not replaced quickly and sat for too long which became soggy and unpleasant. Service was horrible as water glasses sat empty for long periods and employees walked by the table without taking plates or replacing silverware. We have had great experiences at dinner in Walnut Creek (read my reviews), the Easter Brunch was not good and we will not make that mistake again. My rating of fair is generous for this review.

Waited at the bar for a seat by the window. Was given the bill for our drinks, then was rushed to pay since our seats were ready unbeknownst to us. Thought the drinks could be added to our overall bill. As soon as we paid then the hostess notified us that our table was ready. Waitress was short and dry. I guess the hostess didn't tell her it was my birthday. So as we are leaving they decide to give me my ice cream rose and take a picture. Didn't get a copy of the picture so not sure what it was for. Just an awkward experience period.

The fish was fresh, service attentive, but nothing spectacular. Everything was just kind of mediocre, in a bland sort of way. They have a lot of predictable fish dishes, with a vegetable medley carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower and the main starch is potatoes, mashed, baked or fried. I suppose it's a great spot to take ones elderly relatives to, but nothing too exciting on the menu. The views of the Marina was nice, but since it was dark, I couldn't see a whole lot of detail.
